    API Alarm has demonstrated a persistent failure to resolve a critical issue involving a defective doorbell unit since early November 2025. Despite repeated, exhaustive attempts to seek resolution through their customer service channels, the issue remains unresolved.
    Summary of Resolution Attempts:
    Emails: Sent three (3) separate emails detailing the defect and requesting assistance.
    Phone Calls: Made over seven (7) lengthy phone calls to technical support and customer service representatives.
    Outcome: After all attempts, the equipment remains defective and non-operational. API Alarm has failed to provide a viable solution, replacement, or service appointment.
    Consumer Safety and Financial Concern
    The lack of responsiveness regarding this malfunctioning security equipment compromises the intended safety function of the paid service. This failure to provide operational equipment and reliable support is unacceptable, particularly for a security provider.
    The fundamental purpose of a security system is to provide safety and peace of mind. Your current service delivery, or lack thereof, has instilled the opposite, leading us to fear for the security of our family in the event of a genuine emergency.

    Have been trying to contact API by email and phone, no response. Used to be with Bell and got transferred to API. *****, VERY POOR SERVICE. Looking into cancelling my contract.

    **** sold home monitring system company to API *** **** ** *** ***** ***** ******* * **** **** **. Literally calling them from last 2 weeks and nobody is answering my phone. When i got hold of somebody. I told them i made a payment to **** in may 2025 and now i got a call from collection agency that i owe them $2000 but i have no idea for what. I keep paying them bill and i have all the proof and now from nowhere this collection agency claiming i owe them this amount. When i want to speak to APi regarding it they are telling me they took **** accounts from OCT and when i call **** credit dept regarding this they are saying they dont have any records of mine since they sold it. I am in between where should i go *** *********.

    I've never experienced such a disaster of service from a company before. I've had a technical issue that I've been trying to get addressed and I literally spend hours on the phone waiting for someone to answer. I've never once spoken to anyone at this **** of a company. At this point I'm trying to cancel and literally unable to. I'm going to be calling my credit card company to try and block the autopayments from going through to this ******** ***** ** * company.

    I have been trying to get my account squared away with this company for over 3 months now. Customer service and tech departments do not return calls even you leave a voice mail. I was handled by ****** but they decided to send the handling of my account to this "company". I have heard many excuses why they did not get back to me in a timely manner. The recent one is that API alarm is handling **** customers complaints also and it is overwhelming the number of calls. I already have quote from another company to come in and take over the monitoring role. With the set up that is in place, * ******** ********* *** **** ******* **** ** **** ****.

Billing support: no luck. * **** ** **** ** ******** ******* ** I have a good idea what happened here: API has bit more than it can chew and has no personnel to support the transition. The only solution is to move to another provider.

    i need to pay a bill to api , i have been paying **** dont know where to money is going or how to set up to make my payments , they are billing me but NOt answering my calls or email.

    I was transferred to this company from **** and it has been a nightmare attempting reach anyone. I have waited hours on the phone and sent multiple email messages and nobody has reached out. * ******* * ** ** * ***** they have my credit card and will continue to bill me and i can not reach anyone. *** **** **** **** ******* ** **** ** *** ****

    I used to be a **** customer and got forced into switching to API — and honestly, it’s been a disaster from day one. My system hasn’t worked properly for months, and getting ahold of anyone is basically impossible. The only time someone finally called me back was when I said I wanted to cancel. That rep told me my service would end at the end of November. Now suddenly they’re claiming I’m locked into a contract until 2027? This is completely unacceptable, **********, and downright infuriating.
