    Be vary carefull when considering Wealthsimple for investments, I purchased ****** stocks I made 14 dollars profit and I had to take sell as I had some financial issues at home.
    When I sold them I was taxed $98.00 dollars this wiped out any capital gains I received and ate into my original investing money.
    ** *** ** * **** **** ** *******, I wont be using their platform for anything financial after seeing how they operate.

    Wealthsimple is putting me at risk of being put on the streets by locking my account because I called in to report that someone spent 350 dollars of my money on crypto currency and in return for me being a honest customer, they locked my account and have now kept be from 2 **** checks, and 2 Government OF Canada ********** Checks, * ** ******** ** * ********** *** *** ******* they have litterly 4500.00 dollars locked in this stupid account that they say is free and that they are supposed to have good customer service. I’ve litterly called them over 20 times now it’s been 45 days and nothing has been done. **** **** *** ******** *** ****** **** ******** ********* ***** ** **** ******* **** **** ******* **** *** ******* *** ********* ******** I don’t know what do to about this, **** ******* **** ** * ******* to anyone that thinks this place is a bank because they are not and they don’t do anything for you. ********** ******** ******* **** ***** ****** ** **** ****

    This company is extremely disappointing. They lure customers in with special offers that sound appealing, only to later revoke them. Their customer service is unhelpful, and their security practices are unreliable. If you want the risk of having your account locked without access to your money, this is unfortunately the company that provides that experience.

    I have been using Wealthsimple for over a year now and they seemed amazing. I transferred all of my RRSP and TFSA investments to Wealthsimple during a bonus offer to give me cash bonuses of 2% for the value of my RRSP and 1% for the value of my TFSA. I received two monthly payments and the payments stopped because they said that I was not allowed to use my cash account money for external investments for 2 years and had to maintain almost all of my cash balance in Wealthsimple. I had called them before using my money and they confirmed I could use my cash for other purposes, but now they tell me that I broke the rules in their fine print and therefore lost my bonuses. I thought they were different but they are the same as other banks ??

    On June 26 2025, I deposited a check into my WealthSimple account. The check was rejected siliently. I called WealthSimple on July 15 and asked for the reason why the check was rejected. The reason was the check was issued by the Government of Canada and they cannot accept checks from the government. Well, they had better letting me know before hand.

    Just opened my Wealthsimple account had my ********** direct deposit, paid my rent and phone bill ,had to reverify my account sent another payment to my credit card,then I get an email at 5am saying they closed my account and no reason keep my remaining Balance 128. And no contact from there ******* company * **** *** ***** ***** ***** ****** *** I hope everyone will get their money back and run far away from Wealthsimple I an also filing a case with RCMP **** ******* ** *** worst experience in all my 59 years ** **** ******* ****** *** * **** ********* ***** ***

    They were great for quite a while at first.
    Now my account is locked and I've been fighting with them for 3 days to get my lad 80 dollars. Honestly sooo disappointed after using them for years.

    I regret transferring my funds to trade with this company. The customer service is very poor. I requested to have a transfer. No transfer. No one reached out to me for 6 weeks. My emails and phone calls did not bring any resolution. No one bothered to answer my emails. Complaints department never responded to my request to file complaint. I now record all conversations and copy my attempts to communicate with this company through email. I am looking to transfer everything out. Never I would recommend ****** ** **** **** **** ********

    Wealthsimple froze my account for no reason and would not let me withdraw my money back to my bank. I called and emailed them every day. They ignored me.
