All I was trying to do was contact support about an issue with my account. After being bounced around by multiple agents,I finally get one to answer my question and they sent me to another agent. NO reason why, they did not answer my question at all. I was using the wealthsimple app, I signed up for premium which includes trading in usd without the 1.5% wealthsimple surcharge, then when I bought and sold an American stock I was charged 1.5% on both transactions and my premium wasn't active, I messaged them about this and got a message back with them not understanding what happened, so I messaged again to clarify that their app mistakingly took money from me and got no response afterInitial Complaint

For the last week wealth simple has locked my account “for my own safety” but only locked the ability to transfer funds, pay bills or make purchases. So essentially I can invest any and all of my money from any of my accounts, including the transfer of funds from my cash account to any of the accounts that will make wealth simple money. As of now my pay cheque is deposited into wealth simple, I have called and confirmed who I am and they refuse to unlock my account. I now have around 2000 locked up that they will not allow me to access. Wealthsimple sent me an targeted ********* ad for 1% match bonus with minimum of $15k deposit. On the ad it says offer is available until October 15, 2024. This promotion is also stated on their website. At the start of may 2024 my accounts were closed at wealth simple. I received a direct deposit that was too late to cancel. The funds still were managed to be deposited into the account. I contacted wealth simple since may for the funds. I have been given one heck of a run around only to be told cra has to tell them what to do. Now if my accounts are closed like they should be my money should be sent back. Instead wealth simple has told cra I asked for the funds to be deposited to them. But the account has been closed the money should have been sent back. Still after 4.5 months I’m still waiting on ALL MY MONEY to be sent back. I filed my taxes on April 30 . I chose them because I can pay whet I can afford. I completed them. They send me a receipt and a copy of my taxes. I called CRA and they DID NOT GET MY TAXES. I was told by Wealthsimple chat that I never submitted them. Simplewealth kept asking me to pay more money. This affects my income as I am a senior on a pension. I had my daughter redo my taxes and submit them. It costs her $40.

I downloaded and app call wealth simple that was recommended by my accountant. I was researching where to put an inheritance. Before I even agreed or gave them money they charged me saying my stocks dropped. I never agreed, nor gave them any funds to start stock trading. They have sent me to collections where I receive up to 9 calls a day, and I have been on hold with the company for over an hour a day for a week not able to reach anyone. wealthsimple offered a bonus $2000 for using their system. i had planned on moving approximately $30,000 to their tfsa program. their system limits the amount you can transfer to $3000 a day. i made the first transfer today and recieved an email nsaying i received a $25 bonus payment. it also said there will be no further payment from this bonus program. I was compeltely mislead by the wealthsimple customer service people and this offer is *********.
