    I was told i would get so many leads that i would be able to pick and choose the jobs i wanted to do, I paid 1350$ in 3 months to get 18 leads total of witch only 7 were relevant to my type of work and only got hired for 2. And now they want 1120$ to cancel the contract.

    For the last 6 months they have been pulling thousands off my credit card even though I’ve called minimal 15 times to cancel my subscription. A few of the times I’ve called they even raised there voice at me that someone would call me back ( I hadn’t even provided any info including name) and never once a call back. At this point they are going to be reported to visa for fraud. I would like my 6 months back for a total of 1,830.60

    I signed up my house cleaning business with HomeStars in March 2022. They send leads for a hefty monthly fee of $300-500. After not getting any leads or very few leads and paying $355 per month for practically no benefit at all, ****** ***** ******** ** ** * *** **** I asked my account manager to cancel my account giving them more than a month notice. I deleted the app and never logged in to make sure I am not using their services. The account manager assigned to my account, ******* ********** , agreed on the phone that she will close my account as of January 1st, 2023 but she didn't and kept charging me past that. She ignored all my emails & phone calls after that. So after reluctantly paying for another month & not using their services, I stopped paying their fees. I tried every route to cancel this subscription but the company said the only way was through her and she never got back to me. After a while, they finally terminated my account & sent the outstanding fees of $711 to a collection agency, *** ****** *********, without even trying to resolve it with me first. In their policy, an account holder can request to cancel an account by giving a notice and they will be charged a penalty for ending a 1 year contract early but the account manager made it impossible to close my account. I met with her in person few months ago by going to their office to resolve the collection issue and she agreed to take this off the collection agency, and deal with me directly (***** ********). We verbally agreed that I pay for only one outstanding month directly to HomeStars because I did not want to deal with Collection's harrassments and the fees they wanted to charge were illegitimate. Yet I didnt hear from her after the meeting. Last week I got a notice from collection agency again.     We signed up for the service. We immediately noticed that the app wasn't functioning properly. E-mailed account rep. ******* ****** (4) times. Response was "oh, we're looking into the matter". Next response was "I'll let you know when I have an update". This has been going on since June 2023. To date I have yet to receive a response I have attempted to escalate the problem to higher ups in the company- each number that I call I'm re routed to *******'s e-mail, which directly goes to voicemail. Each month the company takes $680 from my **********, yet refuses to fix the app that I need to use to get lead reviews and manage my leads that are dispatched to me.

    I have sent e-mails, called (5) different numbers just today alone- each one goes back to *******'s voicemail. I plan to dispute the charges with my ********** as I cannot get a response from HomeStars in regards to them fixing the problem.

    The company is a ****, all numbers are re directed to the same account rep that will not answer the phone or help me fix the ongoing issue that has been happening since we signed up for the service. There isn't a manager to call, supervisor- ALL numbers I've called go to her VM.

    Stay away!!!!

    I would like to be taken out of HomeStars contact agreement as I was **** to. There has been major security issues with my account and HomeStars hasn’t resolved them. They have been ignoring my calls and emails and I’m at my wits end.

    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against HomeStars for a series of grievances **** **** ****** *********** ************* *** ********* My complaint encompasses misrepresentation, ****** of contract, ********* business practices, *** ********* ********** ** ******** **** *** ******* Misrepresentation and Unfulfilled Promises: Misled about essential services, including activation timeline, quality and quantity of leads, and unfulfilled assurances.

    Ignoring Cancellation Requests: Formal requests for cancellation and refunds consistently ignored or dismissed.

    Delay in Account Activation: Delay in activating my account with a lack of transparency regarding the terms and conditions.

    ********* ******** *******: Utilized ******* of collections, credit score impacts, and ******** ******* without addressing core concerns.

    Despite my willingness to resolve the issue amicably, my concerns were continually dismissed.

    We got a call from Cherylynn at HomeStars asking **** *** the contractor to join the Home Stars for the benefit of having many jobs lined up in mid-June 2023. **** speaks broken English and can not write English. He got misled and did not aware he had entered a contract in which if he cancelled he has to pay 35% of the whole year, which is $895/ month. He didn't succeed to get in the account ***** ** ***** * ** *** ********** *** *** ******** ******* ** *** * ****** ******. I then asked him to call to cancel because HomeStars withdrew $895 on the first day; they refused to let him cancel, and asked him to downgrade to $616/month.* *** ******** ** **** ******* **** ***** ** **** ** ********** and insist we don't want to continue( we are not even start ******* ********* **** **** *** * ****** ******).They tried to buy time, email us back and forth, then they made another withdrawal for $616.They sent us email we have to pay $1,907 for to get out of the contract which **** didn't understand and didn't even start anything.We want our money back ******* ** **** ** *** **** *** **** ** ******

    I set up an account on homestars. I attached pictures, my website, etc. Before I was even finished submitting my account, I got an email confirmation that my account was created, ***** *** **********. When I did finish setting up my account, I could see that none of the things I had submitted such as the photos and my website had been uploaded. I tried to find answers in support but they just kept me waiting. I tried to delete my account but I was unable to. I left a message in the chat to have my account deleted. I got a call the next day from someone named Julian. He refused to delete my account and began to insult me. He refused to let me speak to a manager. I spoke to an agent in the chat named Norman. He said Hi, so I am not seeing an account for you. The info that we have here for your business will be deleted. All the best!" and then stopped replying. My account is still active. It seems they **** ** ******* **** ***** ******** *** **** are either unable or unwilling to delete accounts people have made on their website. ****** **** **** the fact that my account was created before I was finished submitting it, and it raises concerns for me. I think you should investigate how this business handles its internal accounts but at the very least I want my account deleted.

    Phone;, calling. No response after endless attempts this despite user tree all lead to Susan **** ****l. No response after several mess.

    Every time I go to login I have to replace my password?

    The have published a review by confirmed anonymous that we believe is the same person using different names on at least 2 other sites stating completely misleading information with a cut and paste campaign in direct violation of Homestars own policies.

    It also names the sole proprietorship by name Me!

    I'm hoping my contacting BBB we are able to get a clarification submitted to clear.our good name.

    It's way too hard to get a hold of someone there & as a business owner we are not fairly able to respond to nonsense claims even with calm level headed proof.
