picked up May 23rd in Edmonton AB. We were told they would arrive 10-14 days to Saint john NB. It wasn't until later that I realized they marked on the initial pick up manifest that 99% of our stuff was already "scratched, broken or chipped" - including pillows? ******* * **** ** ***** ** *** stating there is damage that was never there. We put an airtag in the shipment and watched it sit in Edmonton for 3 weeks and then sat in Toronto for another 4 weeks. Week after week we called and were given attitude by the staff, never apologized to once. The excuse was constantly "they missed the truck, we have more shipments then usual and then that "we're only sending it to a storage unit so it shouldn't matter". Then we get the bill , 8600$. Reporting we had over 8000lbs of things for a 2 bedroom home. We sold couches, and most heavy things to help bring costs down and there's no way to argue the weight. They THEN tell me they only take cash or e transfer, Nowhere does it ever say we can't pay with credit cards. My deposit was paid with credit card, but they clearly know that if you pay with credit card we could get money back. We had to buy all new crib and clothes for our baby during the wait. The shipment arrives, our furniture completely destroyed. Missing brand new sneakers clearly ripped out of a shoe rack, boxes saturated in water and shredded, mattress topper ripped and black in color, pictures destroyed. I still have half the storage unit to go through and I've found 3000$ worth of damage. Dressers scratched and broken, falling apart. I submit my claim as I only had 10 days and was told based off weight of 0.60 cents per lb in damage that we are actually in the negative and would only qualify for 70$ - but we will not even see that as it must be over 350$ to get reimbursement. I am beyond outraged, they continue not to apologize or show any remorse or care for anyone's belongings. **** *** *******

I have no words for this nightmare experience!! We have moved long distances several times and have not had the damage, disrespect or lack of communication like we had with Nick G. and Pegasus Van Lines Inc. Because of good and reliable service in the past, I did not read reviews or research the company. The initial contact was Nick reaching out after we requested multiple movers info. He was quick to respond, sounded genuine, answered questions and sent a quote based on an average move for our situation. After e-transferring a $200 deposit, it was very difficult to get answers without requesting info ( for any and every question ) without several requests and then follow up phone calls. My son suggested I call and ask about the insurance deductible and Nick said there was NO DeDUCTIBLE.... we've just filed a claim for damages and have been advised there is no claim eligibility because we have a $350.00 deductible. ****.
We were told the move from BC to Ontario would be a week and it was 2 weeks. There was damage on most items moved. We paid extra for picture boxes and TV box and expected safety for having it professionally packed. There were very few moving blankets. We have vintage and family heirloom furniture damaged. I took pictures and can prove the irresponsible and unprotected packaging , including our TV having the ironing board across the screen, which obivously will scratch. It did! We have pictures of a custom made white table glass top packed with 5 tempered glass shelves from a book case, jammed together in a box with absolutely nothing between any of the 6 glass pieces!!!! I have had 2 picture frames broken in another box and just paid $169 each for new glass. One authenticated Group of Seven has damage from shattered glass. I can go on and on. ** ** ************** * ***** ** ** **** ** ***** ********** *** **** *** **************** *** ****** ********* ** ***** these nightmares and irreplaceable damage. ******* **** *** **** **** * *** ****

Also, the total is not $4000 as first estimated but $9500. It will be agreed that you will send a picture of a bank draft for the remaining half as proof that you will pay their driver when they do deliver. 4) You will wait WEEKS living like a squatter in your new home sleeping on an air mattress. 5) You will try in vain to get answers, some assurity, that you will ever see your possessions again, but Nick will either not answer your calls, emails or texts, or he will HANG UP ON YOU when you call from a different number. 6) At last the day arrives probably a month or more later when the movers do actually arrive and deliver your stuff only to find that EVERY SINGLE piece of furniture has been scuffed, scraped, scratched, gouged, dented and dirtied. And to add insult to injury you were treated like garbage and YOU have just paid them nearly $10000.

    Highly unreliable
My experience was extremely poor. Despite their initial active outreach and eagerness to sell their service, once they received the deposit, their communication ceased. They only responded two weeks later when I requested a refund of my $200 deposit, which they were reluctant to return. ************ * *** ******* ** ***** ******** ******* ****** ********** *** ********

** *** **** **** ********* Extensive damage to furniture, snowblower, BBQ, smoker, large air compressor, and utility trailer. This resulted in a claim for damages to be filed with Pegasus. We had to chase them for a response, ultimately they denied the claim and took it upon themselves to inform the undercharged by approximately $72.00 Belongings left BC in one trailer and arrived in NS in 2 trailers, well past arrival date committed to. The storage company where our belongings were stored have stated they have never seen such wide spread damage to belongings as we experienced. Furthermore, the lead driver was extremely **** to the storage staff, resulting in the moving truck not allowed on the property. It was after We spoke to he staff and driver that we were able to unload the first half of our belongings. One of the utmost unprofessional companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. **** *** *** ******** ** ** ********** ***** ******* ** ** ******* ** ******* **** **********

**** ***** **** ******** ** ***** *** * * ****** * ***** **** ***** *t. I went to ********* who promised to send me a quote. That website, however, sends your email to a bunch other companies. Nick G. called me and provided a low bid for a move from Montreal to Vancouver. I took thought it was great. He asked for my credit card details over the phone to make a 200$ reservation which I did (never never do this, it is a stupid thing to do). I later read the reviews and decided to cancel. I wrote to Nick that day and requested to cancel my reservation and return the 200$. Over a chain of emails, he refused to cancel my reservation and never showed up on scheduled day for the pick up. I am now going through my credit card company to claim back the money. **** *** **** * ******

***** ****** ******* ****. They have been holding my things for over 3 weeks and promised 7-10 days. Every time we call, they keep delaying it. Not only that but they have terrible customer service. The person on the phone literally yelled at me and insulted me saying I had attitude when who wouldn’t be when you’re delivering nothing but false promises.

    Pegasus Van Lines/ *** ****** ******
    A complete nightmare!
I booked a move through an employee named Nicholas, who identified himself to me and said I had submitted an estimate for a move from Halifax to Montreal through *** ****** ******. Everything was great, at first.
We agreed on Thursday, Oct. 12 pick up of my daughter’s belongings in Dartmouth, NS, and a delivery in Montreal on Friday, Oct. 20, between 9-11 AM. We would drive to Montreal on Thursday, Oct. 19 to be there for the early delivery on the next day.
On Friday, Oct. 6, I received a text from Nick asking if they could pick up her stuff on the weekend (Thanksgiving weekend) 6 DAYS EARLY! My daughter was living with me (1.5 hours from where her belongings were stored) and she also had a huge load of things at my home that needed to be packed up and moved to the storage unit in Dartmouth for the Oct.12 pick up date. We thought we had another week to do this. He did not respond. Fast-forward to Sunday night, my daughter gets a call from a truck driver who says he will meet us at 10 AM Monday morning. He told her that Nick said, “we were ready”. We had no choice. Then on the 18th of October Nick called me and asked if he could deliver the stuff early! We hadn’t left Nova Scotia yet and I told him there would be nobody there. He simply said okay and hung up, no explanation. On Thursday, Oct. 19 we drove to Montreal. They didn’t show up On Friday, Oct. 20, the delivery morning. I spoke with a woman at the phone number on the invoice who said our stuff would not be delivered until the following Wednesday- 5 days later!! She said they don't even deliver to Montreal on Fridays. Neither she or Nick would answer our calls. We had to pay for 5 extra nights in a hotel plus meals and they refused to take any responsibility or reimburse us for our added costs. So much was information was withheld. **** ********** ***** ******* * **** **** ***** **** *** I hope this helps others from having this happen!

Our neighbour used Pegasus Van Lines for their move. Although they have a wide driveway, the truck backed up over our lawn carelessly causing significant damage. I talked to one of their guys who apologized, took responsibility and gave me the company contact information. I made the mistake of thinking that Pegasus would take responsibility for the damage. I was told that the damage was not covered by insurance which only covered household goods that were moved. I responded indicating that even if insurance doesn't cover it, this does not relinquish their responsibility for the damage to which I received no response. Pegasus Van Lines believes that they can damage property and take no responsibility. Not a business that I would want to move my belongings.
