Contacted plumber on demand to fix leaky toilet at rental property. They gave me a price on phone 100 bucks. They came to property ended up stating the issue was larger then i said stating need 4k of work. They charged me 4 times what they quoted on phone to show up. They said they reset toilet temporary fix until Imove forward with work. Issue came back worse the next day. Tried to contact them they never replied. I got a other plumber out the next day since they did not reply and they fixed issue for 400 bucks properly, said there diagnose was wrong. I tried to advise them of what happened no reply. Filed claim with **** initially told I won but then claim was later denied. I initially offered to pay my original quote as service call but guess they did not wanted.Initial Complaint

I called Plumber on Demand to send a Plumber on July 15, 2023 for a water leak in a bathroom vanity. The plumber arrived and diagnosed the issue. To fix it I asked him what the cost was, he said $150 if I paid by cash. He went to get a part came back and then worked on the vanity. I told him I wouldn't pay cash, but I could etransfer him so he told me to do so and gave me his email address. I etransfered the money to Joseph D. on June 15, 2023. He then had me sign a paper and said it was the warranty. He also told me that there would be a $49 dollar on my credit card. He then gave me the piece of paper, I saw on the paper $339 and I hit the roof. I called Plumber on Demand immediately telling me he had taken the etransfer and then he had charged me even more. At first Plumber on Demand swore that their plumbers never take money, but I showed them proof of the etransfer directly to the plumbers personal email. After several calls a manager from Plumber on Demand called me back and I have a recording of that call where the manager said Joe the plumber was laid off and that their accounting department would refund the $339 charge that was on my credit card. I have the proof of the etransfer of $150, I also have proof: the call recording where Plumber on Demand said they would refund the $339 charge to my credit card.
Also the problem persisted so I brought in another plumber who said that the Plumber on Demand Plumber didn't fix the issue and the issue wasn't what the Plumber from Plumber on Demand said it was (the valve). It was actually a leaking gasket. I have a note from that Plumber as well.
Month after month the refund didn't show up on my credit card. Please help! ******* ** ****** ******* ** *********** I would like my money back. I can transcript the call if you need it, I notice that I can't upload the call recording where Plumber on Demand manager said they would refund the money.Initial Complaint

* *** ****** ** * *** ***** **** *** *** ****** *** ********* I called this Plumer on Demand ***** ****** ** ** ************ ** *** ***** once I was booked for the next day their service technician showed up three hours late and told their dispatch that we were the ones rescheduling the appointment. After an hour he said his job is done, with cost $600 which I e-transferred. Half an hour after he left when I used the toilet I realized it still has blockage. I kept calling the plumber and he stopped returning our calls. Since fixing the toilet was urgent I hired another plumber right away and found out the first plumber broke inside the toilet the way that the entire toilet needed to be replaced and damaged the building pipes as well. The entire ordeal of getting a new toilet ordered, installed and arranging accommodations, paying penalty to the building for damaging the pipes it cost me $4000!
Since all this trouble was created by Plumer on Demand's technician I called the company to file a complaint and request the original $600 refund. The agents kept saying the manager is not available. After several days of not getting any luck talking to the manager I went directly to their office. The manager, Martin L. would not come to see me. I waited over an hour and finally he showed up. On November 24, 2021, a plumber from plumbers on demand came to my property to install a ******* dishwasher, that day I ran a load and smelled smoked. I reached out to the plumber and shared what happened, he said he would come the following day, but he didn't show up.
I never heard from him that day and called again the following day, he said he would come out the next day.
Again he did not show up or call, I called again and same thing. I called plumber on demand and asked them to have someone come, they said they would, 2-3 days passed and no one came. I called again on Monday and was told someone would come between Tuesday and Thursday. But I can no longer wait, no did I trust their team to actually show up and I got a new plumber.
He fixed it and informed me that your team, did in fact not hook the unit up properly, resulting in the wires burning and melding together, ***** ******** ******** ******* * ****.
I've sent them 10 emails with images of the damage and plumber's diagnosis, called several times and just been told that someone will get back to be, but no one has beyond them saying, "we spoke to the plumber and he said he did it properly.*

I have attempted to get in touch with the business 5 times to get my issue resolved (2 emails, 3 calls with no response back).
On sunday March 12th, I requested a plumber to come by and help us with our clogged sink. The plumber was supposed to come on Monday (March 13th) morning at 8:30am. We waited until 9:10am with no notice, and we finally called to ask where the plumber was. There was no explanation to what happened, and was told another plumber would arrive a few hours later.
On monday, I wanted an explanation of the charge as it was MUCH higher than what it should’ve costed, with no breakdown of hourly charges (no parts were required). The plumber also initially invoiced us for $100 more (which we had to call out and he corrected). Still, the plumber was here for about 35min and we were charged $446.35. We called Plumber on Demand back asking for an explanation of the charge, asking to speak with a manager (and was told a manager would call us back). A few minutes later, their plumber came banging on our door, ****** ********* *** ****** ****** **** **** *** **** ** ** ******** **** *********** ** **** ** *** **** ** ***** **** ******* ** today, there are 3 problems, in addition to the lack of professionalism:
1. Plumber on Demand pulled a payment from our credit card with no authorization or consent. We were told a request for authentication would be sent over email, which we never got, yet the payment was pulled.
2. The sink was not fixed (initial problem we called about)- it is still clogged and not draining.
3. When the Plumber on Demand tried to fix the sink, it had created an additional problem of the sink leaking.
We would like a refund *** *** *** **** ***** *********.Initial Complaint

27 Sept 2020 We hired this company to fix our facet in the kitchen. Initially, we suggested we will purchase they facet of our choice from a hardware store, but they insisted we should purchase through them to ensure they have all the necessary parts. They charged us $50 for a call out fee and final price including the facets replacement was 971.80.
The facet has several functions including standard speed of water flow when you turn the tap on, fast speed and spray speed. Over the last six months, we noticed each time you turned on the tap, the water is on fast speed (as the button remains depressed). Separately, we also noticed one screw has come out from the tap where you switch the water on/off causing that part to become loose.
This product/service has 3 year guarantee for Labor and Parts (expiration 27th Sept 2023).
I called this company more than 6-9 times during Nov-Jan '23, to fix this issue and sent them a copy of my Invoice. On several occasions they suggested a manager will return my call - they did not. They also informed me the Sales Person at the time - 'George' no longer works for their company, therefore they cannot help/its not their issue.
They also insisted the above issue was wear and tear and if we would like someone to review the matter, they would charge us $45 for a 'call out' fee in addition to any charges to fix the matter. In addition to being evasive and dismissive to help with this matter their manner of talking to their customer was very rude.
As this product is under is under guarantee and the facet is not functioning as intended I believe the company have a duty to honor their guarantee and fix the issue free of charge.

The plumber had no knowledge of plumbing or how plumbing works, and didn't even have the right tools to handle the job. He told me a tree was growing under my house. ********** that was his diagnosis of my problem. He also left sewage all over my floor after he left. He made a mess, refused to use proper access points to my drainage pipe, gave bad advice, and had none of the right tools. ************ ********Initial Complaint

Called about a plumbing faucet issue. Got a morning appointment, waited all day and plumber showed up 4:30pm
Didn’t even go upstairs to look at the issue, came in the door and quoted $650 to fix.
I questioned the quote and dropped to $350.
Declined ** ********** and ended up getting a local plumber same night to do on his own charged ***.
Company still tried to make me pay service call of $100 for coming out a day later and over quoting, without even looking at the issue.
Company then filed to collections agency and I had to pay $107 to avoid damage credit rating.

******* **** ******* ** **** ** ** **** Our ETA was next day 1-3pm. He showed at 7pm. Explained tub began filling up and toilet began leaking at the same time, so may be connected. He puts our own seal on the toilet first and then tells us that’s $150. He says it’s $415 (all plus tax) to use a snake of any kind, even though he hasn’t diagnosed the issue at all. We allow it, he declares the issue fixed. We run the tub to check and within minutes it’s filling up. He says because it’s trickling back down there can’t be a blockage “because it’s draining”. We argue, he agrees to put down a bigger snake. Then we see the toilet is still leaking. ** ****** **** * *** ***** ** *** ****** We prove it’s the toilet. He says now it’s a main drain issue and removes the toilet again ** *** ***** ** ****** **** *******. He puts a snake in and says he went 75ft without hitting anything (in writing on the bill), so take it to the county because the block is on their side. We have a sewer inspection done for the county, and he finds a block 45ft in on our property. We spent three days emailing/calling until they agreed to send out the same guy, who used the same tool. I asked about using a bigger cutter head, he says his 1.5” can cut through anything. Now he says there’s a spot he can’t get through, so it must be a cracked pipe and he needs another $600 or so to use a camera to see where it is ***** ****** *** **** ** **** ** ***** ****** ****** ********** *** ** ****** I refuse to pay him more for diagnosis, he leaves and says talk to the company.
