      I ordered 8 camera system. Today I only received only the wires delivered. They Sent an email that my order has been delivered. No cameras and DVR system delivered at all. I emailed asking to look into this and no response.

      ****** ** ***** ********* *** ******** *******. I purchased a Lorex home security system and accessories to connect one of the cameras via a USB/power. I’ve done everything possible to demonstrate one of the cameras is faulty. Lorex technical support are not only weak in their technical capabilities but it seems they have been pushed to prevent warranty replacements at all costs. I’ve done all possible and sent all required information and they continually refuse to send a replacement ( understanding that I will also send the faulty equivalent back to them) of the camera which is less than 20 days since it was delivered to me directly from Lorex. This is very frustrating. I regret I did not buy a different brand.

      The 600 dollar system I purchased never worked out of the box.
      Their tech support hung up on me twice.
      The app is absolutely horrible.
      This company literally created their own support line for ****** members because ****** has handled so many returns.

      On December 17 (2021) I bought a "4K 8-channel 2TB Wired DVR System with 6 Cameras" from Lorex. I didn't notice until months later (after their **** ** * "WARRANTY" was expired) that I was sent a DVR with only 1TB Hard Drive. I had also ordered an extended warranty, which was IN MY CART at checkout, along with the system. After receiving my order, I called Customer Support to activate the extended warranty but was instead connected to a **** Agent who said that I did not purchase an extended warranty. I pulled up my card statement, and realized I was not charged the amount that was shown when I checked out, but was charged only the amount of the system, plus taxes. I was mad but let it go just to get off the phone with the **** Agent (a choice I would later regret). I was able to install the system a couple weeks after it was delivered BUT after a week of having only 2 cams hooked up to the DVR, I realized I paid over $300 for TRASH. The EXTREMELY FAULTY DVR couldn't even handle just 2 of their VERY POOR QUALITY Cams, so you can only imagine how much worse it got after I was able to get 2 more Cams up and connected. As I mentioned, Customer Support is just AWFUL so don't count on getting any help from them... especially if it's CLOSE TO, OR OVER, 30 days since it was delivered. I called them 2 more times (after the "extended warranty" issue) regarding the faulty DVR & poor quality cams. The first one just hung up, BUT THE SECOND ONE LAUGHED and said "It's not our problem since 30 days have passed. You're stuck with what you got. You wasted your money". I asked for Supervisor but he said HE WAS SUPERVISOR then quickly hung up on me! It's been almost a year and I just recently discovered they sent me the WRONG cables that are meant for UP TO 5MP Cams... MY CAMS ARE 8MP! I'M SO FREAKING LIVID! *** ******** ** ***** **** *** ************ ******** *** ******* ** ***** **** *** **** ****. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, *** ***** * **** ********* **** ** *******

      We are sorry to hear! The order was placed online by the customer with no assistance from our Sales Team. Extended warranty may have been the intention but it was never chosen nor was it charged. On November 23, 2022, ten days after this Review was submitted, we shipped this customer in advance, a brand new replacement recorder (*** TN ******************) which was deemed to be the problem at the time. Warranty was not denied!
      If there are any outstanding issues with the system please let us know and we will cover it with a one-time exception.

      Lorex corporation has to be the worst company I have had to deal with.
      On October 2nd 2022 I contacted technical support that 2 of my cameras were not functioning properly.
      I spent almost 3 hours with them, gave the person all the model numbers to my equipment.
      I also gave them the password and permission to go into my account.
      We worked together to solve the problem after almost 3 hours the technician said that he had to have a higher level technician call me back in 2 hours.
      3 hours later I did not hear from them, luckily the technician left me an email I emailed to say i still have not heard from lorex. 2 more hours later I received a call the same person started to go into my system to see if the prior changes worked.
      He asked me to walk In front of my cameras I did this except he was unaware there were security lights also where the cameras are and remotely he triggered the camera to start an event and then you see the security light go on and I appear in the recording.
      We did this 3 times and I questioned how it started recording an event when the security light did not come on.
      I have been waiting for 3 full days now with 2 cameras not working.
      Im still waiting for someone from now corporate to get back to me.
      I feel this is the work customer service experience possible.

      We are sorry to hear this and have escalated the experience expressed in the complaint to our Director of Technical Support for his review and investigation into the alleged process.


      On a good note, the 2 cameras were replaced back in November and all indicators are the system is up and running with no problem.

      I have had nothing but trouble with Lorex since I bought the system in July 2022. Everything is made in China and the quality isn't very good. The warranty department in impossible to work with. They have zero common sense and I believe they want you to just give up and toss your equipment. I'm so sorry I bought Lorex security system. ** * ***** **** **** **** **** *** **** * ******

      Worst customer service ever! I called because 1 of my 4 cameras were not working, after 2 hours at the phone with 2 different technicians , now I have 2 cameras not working they managed to break a second one instead of fixing the not working one. Bad product worst customer service

      if this is about the system your purchased in May of 2020 order # ******** it is out of warranty.  However, you may contact our Tech Support team at ###-###-#### for trouble shooting and assistance with replacing the defective component/s if you so desire.  It appears you've already done that.  In reviewing the ticket ***** created in October of 2022, it appears to be pending  a response from you.  We will however escalate this and instruct Tech Support to contact you instead.

      Brand new out the box 2 camera wireless system. Decided to make sure bother were working properly before installation. 1 battery bad. Tech support assisted with diagnosing(good job on that). Then they send email wanting me to reply with alot of info so they can warranty a battery. Told them I was uncomfortable emailing my info through gmail. Asked to just send me a shipping label to return product. ***** ***** **** ****** * ***** ** ****** **** * ******** ******** I just want a new battery for the cameras I purchased 10days ago. Too easy. Can't find the replacement battery on the website. Decided to just order a new camera w/ battery and pay (again) for something I have already purchased. Brand new devices should function properly from the box. QA/ QC NEEDS TO TIGHTEN UP AND GET IT TOGETHER.
