      ***** ******** Varadero, Cuba September 13th 2023 to September 20th 2023 Diamond Club 1st Room 232301 - No A/C and Fridge has leaked water all over floor, nothing in the fridge drink wise not even water.
      We expected as promised a Mini Bar, with Water, Beer and Soda and Superior Room. Toilet flusher was broken, the dresser door was hanging off, Tall Lamp plug was broken with open wires.
      September 14th 1st afternoon approx. 1pm, went back to room, No Water or Beer or Pop in fridge, the $5.00 tip we left in fridge was gone and the tip left tip on dresser for maid. Floor had not swept, no clean towels, I immediately went to the Sunwing Butlers Office, as told to do on Bus ride from Airport to hotel.
      I explained the issues, Sunwing Rep looked us up on the computer, said she saw the room change and apologised and said someone would go by our room before 5pm and fill our fridge and get us clean towels. We went to the main pool for a few hours retuning to our room around 6pm, no one had been by, the fridge was still empty no clean towels. Immediately went back to the Sunwing Butlers Office, there was no-one there. I asked one of the girls at the main desk, when the Sunwing people would be back. She said they should be there she did not know. I then explained my situation to her and she confirmed, I had to wait to speak with the Sunwing person.
      Eventually, the Sunwing person arrived, I explained the situation and that I had a medical condition (I pointed to my medical alert bracelet and said I needed to take pills 3 times a day and having water in my room was of high priority. The Sunwing person apologised, said she would speaking with the supervisor, but it was too late to fix tonight.
      September 15th, 16th, 17th 18th,19th The exact same thing happened, the maid had made the bed and emptied the bin, but nothing else was cleaned, no clean towels and the fridge was still empty but she took her tip.

      I booked Mexico vacation and on destination now.
      1) on sunwing website, also when I booked the vacation it said the first check in baggage is included. My vacation was through sunwing but flight was with westjet.
      When I checked in westjet charged the baggage fee and they asked me to contact sunwing. I contacted sunwing and rep asked me to contact westjet. Hidden fees and wrong info.
      2) at resort, sunwing representative is staying and selling the tour package. I got info with Tulum + three different destination for snorkerlling which I paid more. When I go for tour, destination was wrong which the agent showed on brochure and included only 2 destinations.
      Sunwing is trying to hide the fee and over guided. This is totally wrong for tourists which make upset.

      Wish I could give sunwing less than 1 star! If anyone is considering booking with sunwing…DON’T! We were delayed more than 16 hours for our trip. Lost a whole day of vacation plus 1/2 of the next day since we arrived to our room at 5am! All along the sunwing reps in Toronto were assuring us that we would be compensated! The pilot even told the flight that they were backlogged for a few DAYS and thanked us for our patience. When we returned to canada and tried to submit our claim for compensation, we were told we were ineligible as it was a safety issue. I’ve asked for details of this “safety issue” and no response! Seems like this is a common problem. They use this excuse to get out of paying. Please be smart and think twice before using sunwing. Wish I had done my research…so many online complaints! ****** ******* ******** *** it’s very unfortunate for those that work hard and look forward to their hard earned vacations!

      I booked with sunwings , all inclusive package from Toronto to Cancun, Mexico in July 2023. Hotel we selected was good but they serve very cheap liquor there. When I asked for the reason, bar tender told me in this package you can get only very cheap liquor. The other liquor is for another club members. this is so insulting when they told you IN front of everyone that this is not for you. On the way out here our flight was 5-6 hours late. I requested sunwings to do something, but they did not hear and do nothing. Me and my family had to stay in hotel lobby which was very hot without food, as hotel told us no food no drink after 5 pm and our pick up was 10:40. I had to survive with my baby in that condition.

Information as such would be located on the hotel page on our website. Flight delays are disappointing and understandably frustrating especially for families with small babies.       We went on holidays on July 3-10 to Domenican Republic. Before going on the trip we asked our agent to make sure my husband is comfortable, as he is handicapped. Sunwing provided a wheelchair when we got to the airport and made sure the same accomadations were on both ends. Our agent also advised that a medical note would help for him to get a front row seat , so my husband went and got one from his doctor. My husband needs extra leg room , as per his condition, when we were seated in the plane, we had seats number 3B and 3C, we notified the flight attendant, as per seating, and there was not much they can do and that point. On the way home from the Domenican we were given the same seats, we were told that the first row customers paid $50.00 extra for the seats, but if there is a health issue they would "BUMP" someone to another seat. What Im asking or stating is ....Does Sunwing only care for their extra $50.00 times 6 seats?? We did everything that was asked of us (medical note) and still Sunwing could not, or would not accomadate a Handicapped costumer. Would I fly Sunwing again?

      We were told that the flight was late by 1 hour after the check-in and then an announcement came that it was late by another 1 and half hours,and subsequently it was canceled until next morning. No hotels provided and only a taxi voucher which was not feasible as my residence is 2 hours away from the Airport and then I had to check in again at 3AM.So staying at the Terminal and see what happens in the morning. ** ******* ***** ******* *********** ** very frustrated and stressed.

      I booked a trip through Sunwing to Mexico back in January 2023, on our Sunwing flight down they offered for us to purchase an excursion at our destination. We looked over the brochure and were a little unsure if the one listed in the brochure was the the one we were looking for but were assured by the flight attendant that if it was not the correct one they could refund it at the resort or change it. So we purchased it. Upon arriving at the resort were told by the Sunwing Representative/***** Tour, that in fact it was not the correct excursion. However they offered to make it right for us, all they would need to do was charge us for the correct excursion and they would refund the purchase/transaction made in flight. Since they assured me the initial $428 would be refunded, I agree for them to charge me again for the correct excursion, another $400. The refund did not process right away so prior to leaving Mexico I touched base with the representative who reassured me the refund was coming, it had been approved and would just take some time to show up on my credit card. Fast forward 3 months, numerous phone calls and emails later, still no refund and they are now refusing to refund the $428, despite having email confirmation that the refund was approved and was being processed. So now I'm out $428!!! Sunwing has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth as this was my first all inclusive vacation. I will not be booking with them again as they are refusing to up hold their promise to make it right and return my $428 that was over charged.

      Sunwing Vacations knowingly sold and transported us to a hotel that suffered a watermain break. According to the Sunwing rep on site, the watermain break started on Saturday, 3 days before our arrival. Guests resorted to collecting water from the pool to flush their toilets. * ******** **** ******** ** *** **  I asked to be transferred to another hotel or returned to Toronto. My request was refused. Only after threatening to call the Canadian embassy and asking for an emergency evacuation were we transferred to the Grand Mutho Rainbow Hotel. This would not be the hotel of choice for my wife and I but it was far better than the situation that Sunwing placed us in. I submitted a complaint to Sunwing Cares on Feb 24, 2023 and it is now over 95 days since. Sunwing Customer Service has informed me that they have yet to investigate my claim and that it may take another 60 days or longer. Accidents happens! Responsible corporations take ownership and resolve issues such as this because it is the right and ethical thing to do. Apparently Sunwing Vacations are too busy. ** *** *** **** *********** ***** *** ****** **** ******* ******  Beware, it could happen to you.

      On February 12, 2023 I spoke with a Sunwing Representative and booked 2all inclusive vacation for myself and partner. I confirmed with the Rep all the numbers, including credits that were given to us because of the Christmas mess. I was told how much I was going to be billed on my ****. Followed by an email that included a payment information and trip information. I just received an email that I still owe $100 and if it’s not paid my booking will be cancelled. I have tried talking to customer service who over the phone told me that the base price on my invoice is incorrect, creating a balance owing. I told her that what she was quoting me was not the same amount that is on my payment summary. *** *** ** **** *** ********* ****** ** ******* * *** ** ************** I cannot get anyone to help me on this issue. If I don’t pay the $100.00 she told me my booking will be cancelled.
