MapleBrains Technology is a terrible company to conduct business with, lack of professionalism and work ethics. Took our money and never got the app working on *****. We had the same experience as Peter L who posted as well. The first rendition of the app came out and it was nothing near what had been promised. Not all the features were even working, so many bugs. MapleBrains missed many deadlines for the app launch, making one excuse after another.

I signed a contract with MapleBrains Technologies to develop a mobile app for both Android and iOS platforms. The contract was signed in March of 2022. MapleBrains promised to have the final product within 70 working days, which would have been by the end of June that year. From the original quote of $13,000 USD for the entire project, the company continually requested more money for the features that had already been agreed on. Even after the final payment was made in July of 2022, the project was far from being finished. The first rendition of the app came out in September and it was nothing near what had been promised. Not all the features that required extra costs were available. Even the basic functions were not operable. I demanded a redo. The rebuild began in October 2022, and it was deliberately slow. Maplebrains missed many deadlines for the app launch, making one excuse after another. In the interim, the company sent out invoices for server maintenance, server upgrades, development upgrades, and digital marketing while delaying the launch of the product. As they were holding the app hostage, I had no choice but to keep putting money into this project. Most app development companies would have finished the project within 6-12 months. It has been over 2 years since I signed the original contract with MapleBrains. It is clear to me that MapleBrains has no intention (and most likely no ability) to deliver the product. Their game plan is to delay the actual work for as long as they can while reaping money from unnecessary upselling. Many other clients fell victim to this similar ploy by MapleBrains. I am reaching out to them to consider a class action lawsuit.
