  I was impressed with Coastal from start to finish. Angelo provided great information during the quote and gave me insight into the grant process. I was impressed how quickly I was scheduled in for installation. The service technicians were great guys, so professional, super friendly and installation went smoothly. They cleaned up as they went and you wouldn’t know they had been here when done. Was also super impressed with *** *** ******** who worked with Coastal to install my heat pump.

  We had a new furnace and central air installed a year ago and just had our first maintenance call. Right from the start, we trusted the man who came to give us our estimate. He actually presented some great facts about our original thoughts, which turned out to be true (after some investigation on my part) and ended up costing us less. Obviously not out for a quick buck or up-sale.
  The installation went smoothly, although our basement floor was a little worse for wear after, despite them putting down cardboard to save on mess. In all fairness, it was a wet day in February, so I have to cut them some slack.
  Our one year maintenance was quick and the tech was courteous and prompt. The company always makes sure we know the name of the person coming to the house, and is prompt with all invoices and estimates. I would recommend them to anyone and, in fact, have. We went with them after the recommendation of a friend.

  All the Staff were excellent to work with, Installers did a super job, and their quality of work is second to none as well as the sub-contractor for the electrical work. Everything was so neat and tidy, and no mess was left behind. They didn't leave without asking if I was satisfied and gave me a one-on-one tutorial on how to use the unit and run the remote control. I would Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for heating and cooling solutions.

  My 2nd annual service on my heat pump & furnace. The technicians are prompt, friendly & always make sure I understand what needs to be done or what to watch for. They also seem very interested in making my equipment run efficiently and economically, by explaining how I can run my fan for example. I've used other local businesses but highly recommend Coastal Energy for their professionalism, knowledge & service.

  This is the 3rd year I have called this firm for my annual maintenance on my Heat Pump. Excellent well informed workmen, arrive on time, do their job and answer any questions you may have. Tested often for both cold air and hot air, and changed my air filter. I would definitely recommend them to all.

  I would recommend Coastal Energy to anyone. They are professional and trustworthy. I started having them service all my appliances over 2 years ago, when we first moved to Nanaimo, and I was very impressed. I am still so grateful because on that first winter, when there was over 4 feet of snow outside, at 10pm Christmas night our furnace stopped working. I called Coastal Energy for help and, although the roads weren't plowed yet, a technician was at my house within an hour. He stayed and sorted the problem out and before midnight the heat was back on. To me and my family that was really a much appreciated Christmas gift!
