    Courteous and quick response in replacing my furnace. Refunded repairs on the old furnace when work revealed a new furnace would make more sense cost wise.

    On Thursday morning my wife found that our furnace didn't work and it was cold at home, so I called Ace Plumbing, because they did the service for our furnace in 2021. When their technician came he opened the furnace and told that Carrier Inducer Draft Motor is broken and needs replacing. I asked about the price and he calculated $1,400 for motor and about $100 for his work. So he asked more than $1,500 (for small electrical motor). It was difficult minutes for me, because I didn't know the prices for this kind of spare parts. It was winter, and I have a small daughter in cold home. However, I decided that it can't be more than $200. So I asked if he has any other options, he answered - no options, and added that if I don't have money I can take a credit in bank. So, he took $100 for visit and left me in my cold home.
    The motor has a part number on it, so I checked the price in the internet and it started from $61 up to $133. So I called my friends and one of them recommended the technician, who can do this work.
    I don't know why Ace Plumbing technician tried to cheat me, but he asked $1,400 for the part that cost $100.
    I strongly recommend not to have any deals with that company!
