      Safer to keep your money under the freaking mattress. I transferred $ into a new Marcus account a month and a half ago from Institution A and Institution B intending to get some good return on $ saved for a house down payment. Needing to withdraw 25% of the amount deposited for ******* money, I initiated a wire transfer to Institution A, same account as that used for funding, yesterday, March 13. Funds are still not in Institution A at the end of the day, March 14. I must reiterate, this is for a time sensitive ******* money payment and I only wired it back to institution A after Marcus bafflingly refused to wire to the title company. I have called 5 times and the first 4 times, (including one conversation with a supposed supervisor) I was treated as an inconvenience for having the audacity to want my money in a timely fashion! Sticking to the party line, each time my request wAs In PrOcEsSiNg, wAiT oNe tO tHrEe bUsInEsS dAyS, like a bunch of semi-sentient ai who could only repeat the inputs they were given. Finally, someone actually cared enough about my incredibly urgent need to, and I know this might be crazy to expect from a bank, actually access my own **** money! The last customer service rep actually followed up with this mysterious processing department which doesn't seem to do any actual work ever and got an answer - the wire should be transferred tomorrow. We will see if I actually get my money (I would bet on not with these freak crooks) but there is at least one person working here who ascribes to the seemingly novel concept that people should actually be able to access their own **** money.

      They are not willing to help. Their customer service representatives do the bare minimum to help customers. They just say: Sorry, we cannot help you, you f*** up. Its like they own the bank themselves. Worse customer service I have experienced.

      I use them for high yield savings account, I have not had any issues at all and their customer service has been friendly whenever I did need something. I can not vouch for any other service other then the high yield savings account.

      I am very frustrated with Marcus by Goldman Sachs . Our GM credit card was taken over by them. They send me emails about my statements, but I can't open them without a code., which I have tried and they lock me out after the third try. They say my husband has to have an email to axcess the account, and he doesn't do email. When I pay the bill I have to call and the account number they show is not the account number on the primary credit card. They customer service it terrible. I am applying for a different credit card. Don't get a credit card from them.

      Worst card ever!!!! If there was a star rating below 1 that's what I would give! I am done using this card! I'm tired of getting my purchases declined and having to follow up with them when this happens. It was great when *********** operated it. Now it's the worse credit card I have ever used! I will never use this card again. I have GM dollars saved for a GM vehicle purchase now I'm worried that when I go to redeem them they won't be there or they will get denied. Once I use those points I am cancelling this GM card.

      The security system with this bank is totally broken, the bank allowed a scammer using third party bank, ************ linked to my saving accounts without my knowledge or authorization. I did not have any relationship with *********** and tried to transfer $100K out of my accounts. I was horrified and disbelieved. When I called the Maucus over the weekend and reported the incident, I was told that I had to back during the regular hours. I did called again on Monday and ****** blocked out my access to my accounts on next day and claimed it is for security reasons. I spent three days to closed my accounts, as today the bank is still holding my funds more than a week and said "all funds from my closed accounts are subjected to their internal review" and I am not sure how could this bank refused to transfer all my money back to the bank where I used to make the deposits. Furthermore on the day I closed the accounts, their specialists still asked me whether I wanted to transfer money back to ************* which was used by the scammer. ****** doesn't know how to protect its customer, when I reported the incident, the bank locked me out instead to find the root cause. Such horrible bank!

      this is such incompetent bank of all I can imagine! After reading all these reviews and complaints, I now learned this bank keeps doing the same thing over and over again to a lot of people... why is BBB still rating this bank A+???

      This card holds your payments hostage for over 10 business days for various reasons. Even though they have your money, it has left your bank account, and they can easily release it to your account they wont - and they give no other reason other than the system wont let me The customer service is practically useless and is only for show. No card I have ever used has held a payment for longer than 3-5 business days **** I can completely understand the hold on the money before it processes. But after they have it and know its theirs, there is no reason to continue to hold it other than as a disservice to their customers. Apple is supposed to be a brand that puts users first and their partnership with Marcus is harming their brand.

      The app for this card is terrible. It is the most horrible app I've ever tried to use. After trying several times to pay my bill, I was told to call then was not allowed to pay the bill because I was an authorized user and not the owner of the account. When my husband called to make sure that I was able to pay the bill, they told him there was no way possible because I was not a co-owner just an authorized user. We paid off the bill of $53.07 and then closed the account. If I could give this less than one star, it would get -10!

      Marcus Bank closed my savings account after I withdrew my CD's and immediately sent the remaining balance to the Mass Revenue Department.I never received an escheatment letter informing of what happened to the funds, only that the account was closed. I had to call to find out this information.It's now been over four months trying to collect my money from the state, however they will be happy to help if I had the escheatment letter.
