      I tried to create an account. After putting in my information at the final step, it took me to a page that says please call ** and provided me an application#. I called the number and provided the application#. After going over twice all my personal information, the person on the line said I needed to see my profile in order for her verify me. I asked her how can I see my profile when I couldnt get passed the application process? She says I need to see my profile and it is not my personal information. So I asked her how do I have a profile and how can I get into my profile because I just tried to create an account last night. She says I should have received a confirmation number. I asked her, would I have received it on email or on phone? She says none. Okay, so where else would I get it because those are the only two places that I can receive anything based on what I put on my application- which I did not see any email or text from Marcus. She has no answer to that so to ease her time- as she seems to not want to continue to answer my questions, I told her if I dont see a confirmation number, I wont see my profile as I cannot log in, and if she cannot help me with the only number I can provide which is the application#, then maybe Im just not meant to have an account? She says okay. I am not upset with the call- I think we both exchange words calmly and I think that the questions I asked are reasonable from my end. She asked me for my information twice which I gladly gave and never explained to me what she is seeing or what the issue is on her end. Instead, she asked me to go find my own profile which made no sense to me. Also, I feel like shes not very interested in trying to help me get through my questions. But I am glad that this happened because if there is no bank to walk into and customer service on the line cant help me get through application process, I cannot imagine what kind of help they can provide when it comes to an active account.

      Beware of Marcus by Goldman Sachs business practices. They are very slow in giving you your own money. For example, when trying to close a CD they are holding my money for over three weeks now (the closing was supposed to take 3-5 business days). Their customer service is abominable. Just try getting them on the phone. They are so incompetent that they have a high volume of callers all the time. For a well-known company, they should be better.

      GM card moved from *********** to Marcus by Goldman Sachs and the service is eyond awful. I received a new card due to fraud which took 10 days to receive. The first two days with the replacement card, transactions were declined and I had to go back to the car to retrieve my phone to approve via email. The third day, there was no option to approve via email, and my card went into what they call a "review" which takes 5 to 7 days and no one can explain why. Worst credit card ever!

      Apple/Goldman Sachs continues to freeze my account. Will not allow for withdrawals. And everyday makes me call and wait for over 1 hour. I have called 5 times, each time waiting for over 1 hour to get them to unfreeze it and resubmit to move my money out. They unfreeze it but then the next day it's frozen. I want my money back immediately. I have requested my $100,000 (roughly) back for the past week so I can pay off a line of credit which i'm paying 11% on. They keep denying it. Nobody can provide me with a solution after the 5 phone calls (over 5 hours). I text apple and they keep saying to call and wait again which does nothing. I have requested a call back from management every time and still haven't received an email or a call.

      Tried to simply wire money from my savings account into another personal bank account.. had to wait several days after being told by multiple customer service reps that it would be there in a few hours. How can they prevent me from accessing my own money?! Absurd. Do not recommend.

      My credit card had fraudulent purchases on it. Contacted Marcus. They immediately refunded while they investigated. Only suggestion is to provide more details of purchases on the account site to clarify the purchase. Very pleasant and helpful customer service. All fraudulent purchases were concluded satisfactorily.

      To Open Account: Technical error messages appear on website almost daily Calling Marcus: voice message advises "all of our savings specialists are currently assisting others" - usual wait time 10+ Amateur website design in terms of appearance/response/meeting clients' expectations and needs

      If I could give 0 stars, I would. They locked me out of my account without warning. When I called to try to regain access, I had to go through all my security questions only to be told that I could not regain access nor be a customer of theirs again. They couldn't give me a reason, but said my money would go back to the funding account. This was MONTHS ago and I still have yet to see a *****. Do not use them!

      they locked my saving account for over a month after they received the notarized form for identity verification.I called daily and I was put on hold each time for over 40 min no one can tell me when i can have access to my money.I spend over 10 hours or more on hold and still cannot access my account as of today.

      They don't alert you of when your card is declined or, better yet, when your account is under review. Reviews then take a week for them to be bothered with and there's absolutely no one in the company who can help you out other than repeatedly say "they'll let you know in 5 to 7 business days. Do you want me to file a complaint?" I then asked about the complaints process and they said "sometimes someone will email you or call you." They have no confirmation number system, it's just all "on my honour." Had the great displeasure of working with someone named ******** who was incapable of helping at all over chat. Whomever I spoke to via phone at least tried to gather information but was also not able to do more than file a complaint and tell me to sit tight for a week on the review. WHO DOESN'T CONTACT THE **** HOLDER WHEN THEY THINK SOMETHING FRAUDULENT IS GOING ON?
