      I was locked out of my account for over a month and after calling to try to get it unlocked 5+ they closed my account on the spot without prior notice. Horrible service and practice. STAY FAR AWAY!

      I have been locked out of my account for a week and can not get any help to regain control of it! I am in the process of replacing Marcus with a different credit card,,,,,

      Terrible customer service, have been battling an ongoing fraudulent customer charge with substantial evidence to back my claim and they still side with the other guys. Any other credit card would help you when things like this happen STAY AWAY from the Apple Card by Goldman Sachs.

      Since January 2022, I have been transferring money into and transferring money out of my Marcus HYS account without any problems. Linking other external accounts to my Marcus HYS account to faciltate those deposits and withdrawals is efficiently and timely completed. Furthermore, the Marcus app is the best one out there, IMHO....The 5-star rating is well deserved!

      Woof, pretty rough. Transferred $20,000 into their CD, got an email a few months later saying they closed the account because I'd transferred the money from the wrong type of bank account (huh??). They said they wouldn't give me any interest on the money and then proceeded to not refund the $20k back into my bank account. I'm three weeks and three calls in, still don't have my money back.

      I do not recommend working with Marcus by Goldman Sachs. Their customer care experience is very HORRIBlE. I signed up for an offer to bring 10K$ as a new fund in Savings Account to get 100$ promotional credit for holding 3 months. I maintained that and waited for 10 more days as per their email to see the credit applied within 10 days after completing 3 months from bringing the fund and holding for that duration. After calling the customer care multiple times finally they acknowledge to apply credit and it was late by 21 days. Through out the discussion a lot of time invested/wasted behind talking with customer care hence I requested to talk with Supervisor and during this escalation I requested to see whether I can get some inconvenience credit. It was verbally communicated to see 25$ of credit in 10 working days and Guess what?, it was not applied and I came know after calling customer care again about the declination of the credit even though it was communicated about the approval of the credit.

      I moved my money into their HYSA, not reading the 'fine' print that states, newly deposited funds are not available to transfer to an external bank for 90 days! We are are currently at 74 days and have been locked out of our account as a result of trying to transfer 1/3 of it to cover a large life expense. After 1 hour on the phone, they still control my money, the *** could only send an email to have my request for transfer reviewed to determine if I should be allowed to move this money. REALLY?? After all it is my money where is FDIC in monitoring these contractual agreements between institutions and customers? Do Not Conduct Business with Marcus or the Primary Goldman Sachs, they treat YOUR MONEY as if it belongs to them.

      You got to be kidding me. These ignorant b******* locked an account on May 19th and said document had to be mailed in, they don't have email, seriously an online bank with no ****. Well they gave the wrong address for the docs. They were supposed to go to **** but they gave me the ************ address and pick them up after I overnighted them on June 1st then on the 15th tell me it's the wrong address and they can't retrieve those from their office in ************ so I had to overnight them again told me it's going to be expedited since it's been over a month and still to this day June 22nd the account is still locked because they have to review the documents now that they've uploaded them you got to be f****** kidding me this bank is a f****** joke thousands and thousands of dollars sitting in an account I can't get nobody to do their f****** job to open it yeah f*** this Bank open it and all that money's out of there and I never want to hear Marcus again in my life and this is the only place I'm going to blast them I'm going to blast them everywhere I can find cuz this ain't f****** *****

      Unfortunately, I became the cardholder through GM merger. The transition was painful, plenty of late fee charges while the company itself did not provide proper and timely access to an account to pay through web or over the phone. In spite on the faults Marcus by Goldman Sachs has not taken any responsibility and put all the charges on me. I have a excellent credit and history of making payments on time and in full. All disputes were resolved in their favor. It seems to me that in resolution team work robots, not human beings as they just formally follow procedure without even making an effort to use their gray cells. I was trying to provide the info to support my arguments, but my questions on how to apply those docs were totally ignored. The worst credit card company to deal with! I would put ZERO star if there was an option.Stella
