      I have had a savings account with ******************** on-line for approximately 2 years. Recently our situation changed and we wanted to transfer our Marcus money to our regular bank. Little did we know that the process would *********** weeks, and lots of aggravation. First, in early September, we attempted to transfer our money on-line to our regular bank. Each time we did this, the transfer was "reversed" or "lost". After the third attempt, we called Marcus an asked them to close our account. We were on the phone with them for approximately 3 hours, and were transferred from person, to person, to person.... while they "tried to find someone to help us". They said they would transfer the money to our bank, and even called our bank while we were on the line to see if we really had an account there. After one week, and no money transferred, we called Marcus again.... and again we were transferred from person to person to person. What they finally said was; "We are sorry, but we have no record of your previous call, and request to close your account". We asked for a "supervisor" who said she needed to call our bank and verify our account... when we said... "we already did this last time". She argued with us that it was not done! Then she hung up on us when we got angry!The money was finally transferred out of Marcus and into our bank... but it was infuriating dealing with these people. They want to keep your money at all costs! I am telling everyone I know to NEVER use this bank or service!

      I have been a GM card holder for almost 20 years. I had an issue on my account and called customer service. The *** couldn't help me and put me through to a supervisor. The supervisor cannot help me and stated that there is no one above him that can assist me over the phone. I put in a request for a phone call from someone that can help. I continue to receive letters each month telling me that my inquiry was resolved. This is a ridiculous system. Very disappointed.It's really too bad too because I was going to purchase another GM vehicle. I have purchased 6 GM vehicles over the years. I wonder if GM knows or cares that they may lose a loyal customer over this nonsense.

      Marcus CD's have taken my money hostage. Simple account closure for 3 accounts October 2nd. I received first ACH transfer on the 3rd. Marcus has lost 2 ACH transfers it's October 19th. Numerous calls since the 6th worst customer service ever. Apparently I can't get past a first level supervisor. Nearly two weeks passed before they did a simple procedure. A trace ID look up was done after two weeks. This is a simple process that should be done after the 5th day. Numerous recorded conversations with multiple people each call. Marcus has admitted my transfer did not complete. A dispute form was snail mailed to me yesterday. It was mailed sent snail mail. They would not send electronically. I must sign dispute form and snail mail back. Marcus has lost my 2 ACH transfers totaling over **********. It will be over 1 month before I see resolution. Marcus offered me 100 dollars for my troubles. Do not ever trade with Marcus by Goldman Sacks. They simply don't care and have taken my money hostage. I haven't even started a fight over lost interest at ****%. Marcus you have my 370k I expeditiously need it back. You don't care I feel this is your MO.

      Worst bank ever . My acc was hacked . I called and told them . Asked to not allowed any online transactions, close my acc and just transfer the money I had to a new bank acc I had to create. Two weekend has passed they not only did not transfer my money , but they let my closed acc to be hacked again and my money transferred to the hacker . I'm on the phone w them for 2 weeks 2 hour phone calls and they give zero answer. I ask them why they did not transfer the money back to me when I asked , instead 4 days later they transfer to my hacker . They don't know and keep saying it's under investigation when they were very well warned . They did nothing to protect my acc . I strongly do not recommend.

      I have the online savings account and the interest rate is good. I havent had any problems. The referral promotions have worked every time. You can transfer money easily and link your other accounts too. I pay bills with my accounts and had no problems transferring money between my accounts.

      Worst Bank ever to deal with. I am the *** and sent in legal papers. They wanted their documents filled out and notarized about me. The account holder wanted to close out the account he had because of a low interest rate so I held off on sending the extra paperwork that they needed. We tried to close the account 3 times and were unsuccessful because they wanted to call the account holder the next day to "reaffirm" he wanted to close it? On the initial recorded transaction he already authorized that??? He is in an assisted living facility and my phone is the contact number. The day after when the transaction was to go through, it was cancelled because I was not with the account holder at the time of the call for him to tell them again he wished to close the account. After 3 attempts I sent in the other paperwork they wanted to complete my ***. I have tried 4 times to get that completed with each time running into a different reason why it isn't processed. After hours on hold I still have no resolution on my *** and the account holder is still unable to close his account. They want verification upon verification that makes it impossible for an elderly person without a cell phone. Very disgusted and frustrated. I would never do business with Marcus Goldman Sachs!!!!!!!!

      I had the worst experience ever. I dealt with their employee ***************************** she is such a scammer. I gave them over a ****. The cheques would often bounce. They once sent to usdt wallet sent to wrong address. They wouldn't take the blame, I had to pay for their mistake by losing my fund. Than asking me to invest more. Stay away they are such scammers

      I wish I could give less stars. I had GM card since ****. I was told 3 months ago can use all my points for a new car. Turned in my lease on 9/25/23 told by dealer I could only use $1k of points. Called Marcus. Spoke to Esmarelda. She gave me $2k. Still not happy with her answer, spoke to Supervisor ******. He would not help, give me his supervisor info and then would not honor *********'s offer of $2k. Asked for a copy of the recorded statement and refused. Claims I have to mail a letter to GM. Why GM they are not associated with Marcus.

      I have had the worst experience with this company. I put money in and after a couple months I bought a house. For 2 weeks I have been trying to get money out of it to be able to close on the house.. The employees have continually lied to me saying they will transfer when the do the transfer internally, then it reverses, over and over this has happened and I have no hope of getting my money out to close on my house. I had to now have a family member wire me the money in order to close on the home and I pray I will eventually get the money out in order to pay back my family member.

      Worse bank ever. Beware Do not bank at this institution. It started with a simple bank wire that never went through after saying it will take three days for a wire. Most wires take a couple hours or sooner. I am still in the process of closing my account and trying to get my money out of this bank. They are not allowing me to close my account or take my money out. They keep your money and it is very hard or impossible to access your funds. DO NOT BANK HERE!!!
