Ive made all my payments to them and on time but they lower your credit limit which in turn hurts your credit score, beware of them! No wonder Apple is dropping them!

What a shame... I read that others at least received a notification or email about that they transferring their loan account to SST... I didn't receive ANY notification. I just checked my bank account and saw a different name in the withdrawal, so I logged into my Marcus App and... Suprise. I can't see my account or anything and the new "company" in charge of my loan didn't send me anything to set up an account either. My payment was made on the 14th and when I called they said they couldn't process my payment. How it's possible? What are you playing?I thought that Marcus was a very respectful company. But It's so sad that I see that they care a Damm about their clients. I hope that SST doesn't come out with ...You have to pay again... because all this will be in the news.

Like all the other reviews have said, they lock your account and don't tell you. And then it's extremely difficult to get the account unlocked. A woman I work for opened the account and has been trying for months to get hundreds of thousands out of her account. She's able to verify every identity question and has done 3 way calls with the bank. They *********** not unlock it. She is going to take legal action against them.

I had zero issues until they decided to be sneaky and announce they were selling my loan to another company, with a horrible reputation, and only send notification via ONE email during the very busy holiday season. No other notification, no reminder, now no trust. If you only had a loan, you can't even talk to anyone at Marcus by Goldman Sachs as it automatically redirects you to the new, unsavory, company no matter the phone number you call. This is VERY unprofessional and a low ball move.

My account was been locked for no reason. It's already one year I tried multiple times to to solve the problem. And my money in this account disappeared!

Marcus mysteriously reversed a simple funds transfer I did not receive an email, text or phone call notifying me of this. The consequence is that my funds were not available for transaction costing me money and time. I linked my account to another institution which cannot access my funds. This remains unresolved after multiple phone calls where I was routed around including dropped calls. Most recent call says there is a block on my account and 'someone' will call me back in 1-2 business days. Online attempts to make another transfer give ambiguous message about technical difficulties and try again later. I consider this bank fraud and will be making complaints to the appropriate agencies.

Had $50k deposited in savings account for 5-6 months.I tried to move it to pay a down payment on a home mortgage. They held my money for 4 days, due to them not having the money to cover it.Not a good company.

I tried to wire money as a gift for closing on a home. They gave me a confirmation number and 3 days later they tell me I can't transfer unless it's to an account with my same name. Now the mortgage loan was lost because I wasn't able to transfer the funds from goldman. They should of let me know that from the beginning and the mortgage loan cancelation could of been avoided. From any other bank I would of been able to do the transaction. Nobody at goldman helped me in this situation. I rate this company no stars. It's my money and no matter how much I tried to do this transfer it never happened. They should of let me know as soon as the transfer was attempted that it couldn't be done. But they failed to inform me and mortgage loan was lost.

I have 6 apple devices, a high limit on credit cards, the score they said I have is not accurate and yet they keep declining my application for apple card simply to make it easy to use through the app. To be honest this seems discriminating against myself, for the past 3 years I have attempted a few times and other banks have give me credits while this bank keeps writing me irrelevant emails. Disgraceful and discriminating bank!

Please do not use Goldman Sachs, they have fraudulent company practices that will leave you regretting using their cards. I received fraudlent charges on my card. They were absolutely horrible to deal with filing claims and very abrupt in correspondences, Even thougn this was a apple backed card this company seemed as though they had never communicated with apple on how to properly handle issues with their card and the correlation to a apple ID and wallet. It took six phone calls, three transfers per call and about 6 emails to finally get the issue corrected on the card. However even though the account was paid off and closed. They still charged me interest on a closed account at the end of what they deemed was within a "month" and within their authority to do. The only way I was able to find this out, is when it showed up on my credit report as deliquent. They sent no emails and never once attempted to contact me but were very quick and eager to place this on my credit report. All for a measly twenty five dollars. Bravo Goldman Sachs you really have proven yourself to be an elite scumbag company!
