1 starABSOLUTELY THE WORST!! We contracted Terminix to tent our business building for termites, as they had done so back in the 90's. Their rep ** ****** was extremely unfriendly, unprofessional & unorganized! Not once, but TWICE we packed everything up & shut our business down for them to come & tent & neither time was it done! Excused the first time, as he was trying to squeeze us in & it was a tentative appointment, but we rescheduled for almost 2 months later. ** ****** came out the day before with the bags & to do a walk through. The following day we closed our business again only to have 3 guys show up (one with NO SHIRT ON (have video)), set our alarms off so the police showed up to ultimately tell us that they aren't doing it because of an attached garage. The garage wasn't added the day before, it has been there for 20+ years. ** ****** saw the garage multiple times, just has the other companies did that we got quotes from. ** ****** stated that they would try to tent the garage as well (not necessary to have treated, as it is metal) because of it's attachment, but if not, they would put a ************* bones sticker on to not enter. Mind you, the other 2 companies we got quotes from were only $140 & $200 cheaper than Terminix & that INCLUDED THE GARAGE! ** ****** made sure to tell us more than a half a dozen that he was on vacation...sure seems like ** ****** needs to retire after his vacation! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, but Terminix doesn't have to care due to their monopoly in the industry.Terminix

1 star******** ******** This is the absolute WORST company I have dealt with. I had a very bad ant issue at my house they came one time and we still had ants they came back 2 weeks later to add more poison and we still had a ant issue I have a 2 year old he was getting bitten at night in our bed also couch. I have spoken with ****** the manager he didnt help either he said another tech was coming out to do another round of poison and also a refund for the month service of course that didnt happen. The tech still hasnt came out i still have an ant issue. I called ****** multiple times and text him no response I do NOT recommend using terminix to anyone!!Terminix

1 starI called to canceled their service so many times because they are not doing good job. they still sending someone to perform pet control on my store and i denied their service because we already signed up with another company. I would like to put this out there so other people dont make the same mistakes as me. They wont cancel their and still sending me bills my next step is to file lawsuits against them if this cant be solved by BBBTerminix

1 starThe local office is great service. The 800 number does not understand anything you are saying and note information that is not correct. The employee **** that comes out to my home does great service and has a great personality. My husband died and the date my income comes in changed . After the draft date was a problem. I called and asked for it to be changed to a service date that was close to the end of the month. After 3 or 4 months and several calls they still dispatch on an earlier date but every time I call they guarantee that they will honor the request however it is never done . This month I called again after I received a text that they see coming. When I called they attempted to say it was the local office which I dont think so. So I advised them to cancel the auto draft and I would pay when they come in the correct date.Then I received an email that my service was cancelled after all these years. When I called and advised them I did not cancel the service. The employee advised me when the auto draft was cancelled they cancel the service. I advised I was not told that. Then he advised me to reinstate I would need to pay a fee if $150.Terminix

1 starHad Terminix for a year and a few months. Had to cancel service on the day that I was set to be charged for service but it was a Sunday, and funnily enough their customer service line was open, but not their retention department, and to cancel you have to speak with a retention specialist who are much slicker than any customer service *** they have. I closed on my house on the 12th, and tried cancelling service in the day I was set to be charged, the 15th. But again, it was a Sunday. So I called first thing Monday morning to cancel. And froze my card so that I would not be charged for a whole month of service I would not need. They told me if I did not pay it would go to collections. It is sad that a company would rather eek out $63.31 from me and have someone part unsatisfied, who will not bad mouth Terminix at every turn, and never return as a customer. Or realize they should at the very least prorate me a small amount, and have me leave peacefully with the possibility of me returning as a customer and receiving good word of mouth business. Unfortunately no one at the company seems to recognize the importance of return business through good business and the power of word of mouth. And I realize that this may be *****. But it really is just cheap and ***** business. So enjoy another bad rating on your already mediocre score of a service.Terminix

2 starsIt is so interesting to read the many concerns that others are experiencing with their exclusion packages. We have been dealing with mice issues since they convinced my husband to purchase this package. We were new to the home and when they mentioned they saw droppings upon their inspection, we went for the package. They've never rectified this issue, but they do come out (for the most part) when contacted, but when they do their pattern of checking the home is inconsistent from *** to ***. Unfortunately, we have asked SEVERAL times to speak with a manager and not ONCE has a manager or supervisor (or the individual who convinced my husband to purchase the exclusion package) reached out to us. We have wasted money and time with Terminix. We also use them for pest control and plan to cancel that as well. We have been Terminix customers for over 10 years (as we've only been in this home for the past 3 years) and we are extremely disappointed, to say the least. ****Terminix

1 star4 months without getting a solution for my roaches and rodents infestation. Every single visit a different excuse. Dont even bother to use them in **********, **. I strongly recommend you not to use them. Do yourself or contract another company. Your sanity will thank you later.Terminix

1 starTerminix has illegally continued to charge my card for services that I canceled months ago and according to the thousands of reviews I have read over the past few weeks they are notorious for doing this. This is what happened in chronological order:-Sometime in July I signed up for services. In early to mid August I spoke with a tech who came out to my house about not being able to pay for services and he called his supervisor on speaker phone and the supervisor said that my services will be canceled but I would still get one more service at the end of the month. Upon the last week of August a technician showed up and he confirmed that my services were canceled until I paid the overdue balance and then I could restart the services which I said I did not want to. On October 18th and again on November 4, 2024 and again on tNov 7th and 12th I got charged on my credit card services done by Terminix and when I called they said my account was never canceled and when I told them it was and showed proof by a screenshot of my account being canceled. They promised someone from HQ would be calling me within ***** hours. No one called. On November 12, 2024 I called and was once again told my services were never canceled and that HQ said that the charges were legit and they would not call me. After arguing for 45 minutes I was told someone from HQ would call within ***** hours. No one ********* is now November 17, 2024 and I still have not received any call from Terminix. I have had to cancel my loan along with missing a payment and I had to cancel my card-twice-because of Terminix. I have disputed this charge with my creditor but it takes them forever to dispute a charge. My credit score along with my reputation with other companies including ******* whom I rely on to do my job and my schooling has been destroyed because of Terminix. It is past time they get reprimanded and fined for this illegal and immoral practice.Terminix

2 starsTHE WORST !!!! As many other gullible people like myself below we believed and trusted your inspectors at the begin of the contract. It started 10/13/24 when I scheduled to have a free inspection in the home due to site of droppings. Prior to **** coming out to inspect the home my husband was able to Catch the mice as well as lay down traps around the home. We had no more issues. This is when I should have cancelled the inspection. **** came out to the home on 10/16/24 and quoted me $2,000 for everything which I knew was too expensive so he mentioned that he would provide a discount to the bill. **** mentioned that the cost would include exclusion for the inside ad out of the home, it would include a crawl space door, vent covers for the dryer as well as door sweeps for all doors. Its now time to schedule an appointment for ****** to com out and perform the job on 10/21/24. On this day ****** only was told that he would be doing the exclusion on the inside of home and it did not include the vent cover, crawl space door and he didn't leave me any baits around the home. The exclusion portion of the service just was not appealing and I should have been asked my preference. Terrible work. I called **** and Manager ***** and I was blocked 10/24/24. I then escalated my called to head quarters who then sent over an email to have them give me a call. The same day I received a call from the manager around 5 PM and he mentioned that the bill won't be adjusted and this is what will stand and s technician will be to the home on 10/29/24 On 10/28/24 a technician arrive to my home unannounced and when I questioned as to why I didn't received a called he stated "Im here and this is the day I was scheduled" Tech, which I didn't write down his name completed the vent covers and also mentioned that what I was quoted was not worth the price. 11/8/24 after my 3rd escalation and speaking with a regional manager by the name of ***** or ***** which was no help.Terminix

1 star**************** is always so nice but managers refuse to call back (3 separate calls) and two different technicians have driven to our property to perform services they did not perform- lying and reporting they were here for ***** mins when once they stayed 3 minutes and another time for 15 minutes. We have video evidence- and also they when we cancelled they said they had to come remove remove the termite stations- I said great- youll see you dont have enough here and they arent being checked. Day of their technician tells us he doesnt have to pull them and h*** just mark it as completed- I said no Id like to see what you find- he pulled 4 for a 2 acre property and then left. **** ****** denied our refund request and no manager has ever replied- not even after canceling. This is not a trustworthy business- find someone else.Terminix
