I have since changed trash and recycling providers, as of July 14. Blosenski has credited $116.71 to my account and they have told me that they will be sending me a check for that amount within 2 to 4 weeks. They haven't yet retrieved their trash and recycling bins. They have re-scheduled twice, the second time without telling me.
A.J. Blosenski was bought out by ***** *********** last September. Since then, they have missed numerous collections. In 2020, ***** *********** purchased ***** ********, at which point they proceeded to skip many collections. Last February, Waste Collections settled a lawsuit with Pennsylvania Acting Attorney General Henry regarding ***** ********, see:

2/23 paid for 2 time a week trash service and they don’t come. I tried to call and cancel 6/22, 6/24, and emailed 6/23 and they don’t respond or call back. I would like to cancel my services as of 6/30 then end of the period I paid for.Business Response

I am paying for trash and recycling removal from this company and they are failing to do so on a weekly basis. This trash removal company has recently been purchased by other individuals and they are holding up to the high standards of the previous owners. Im still paying for a weekly service and sometimes no trash/recycling is picked up and/or sometimes its one or the other not being picked up. This causes me to have an overflow of smelly trash/recycling all the while Im still paying in full each pay cycle. I would like to see this resolved. Thank you.Business Response

We are contracted with AJ Blosenski to pick up trash and recycling on a weekly basis. At least three times within the last two months our recycling was not picked up, it was skipped entirely. Only one time out of the three did they call us to let us know they were not coming. No explanation as to why they were not coming was relayed. We pay them quarterly, automatic payment. They are not fulfilling their obligation. I have attempted to call the company about five times, no one ever answers or returns phone calls. I would like money credited for missed pick ups and I would like them to pick up weekly as they are obligated to do.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Trash pickup was not provided to us for 6 weeks. $8 certainly does not cover. That is a personal insult . We had to pay substantially more money to have our trash picked up by another service due to your lack of service. We need $90 to cover our out of pocket expense due to your inability to pickup trash.

We are customers of this company for many years. Our pick up of trash and recyclables has not been consistent for several months. Several weeks this month alone, our recyclables have not been picked up. We have called several times to complain, never spoke to an employee, it just goes to voicemail, where we have left messages. No returned calls. Also used their website "contact us " and left messages. Again, no response. Our bill is paid, in advance, quarterly via electronic bank pmts. I feel they are not fulfilling their promise for weekly collection. Failure to pick up trash regularly. We pay for weekly service, but they are not doing so. We have been calling nearly every single day without any response back. We make every effort to collect the trash and recycle the next day. However, if we miss the collection, we will be crediting your account.
We are making the following changes to correct the problem.
We are aggressively hiring new drivers and helpers. We recently had two job fairs which resulted in us hiring six new qualified CDL drivers,several helpers, and a mechanic.
We are reducing our service area so we can properly service our customers in our geographic area.
We are in the process of doing a complete overhaul of our routes using new software that became available after the acquisition.
We have brought in 16 CDL drivers from other areas throughout the country to alleviate the service issues until we can get the newly hired CDL drivers trained and the reroute completed.
We have enlisted the services of additional customer service representatives to answer customer questions or concerns.Our records are showing your account has been closed as of 6/23/23. Credits will be applied to your account and a refund will be issued.

AJ Blosenski is our waste removal service, and recently changed ownership. They failed to pickup recycling for 3 cycles and did not respond to email or call requests for explanation. In addition they recently mailed a letter saying they are reducing our service from 2 days a week to one day a week - but offering no reduction in cost to the one day a week current pricing. I am requesting a credit to my bill for the missed pickups, as well as an adjustment to pricing for going from two day a week pickup to one day a weekBusiness Response

We are applying a credit for any missed trash and recycling collections. Also, *** was offered a free 96-gallon trash container when we reduced his service to one time per week. The bill remained the same because we did not increase rates since September 2021.
Our records are reflecting our office has been in contact with *** on 7/5/23 explaining we are not able to lower his rate.

We have been customers of this residential trash collection business for four years. They are supposed to collect our trash and recycling once a week. Service has been very inconsistent over the past year, and recently has stopped altogether. Our trash has not been collected in three weeks and our recycling has not been collected for the past month. We are unable to contact the business by email, phone, or their website. We have yet to have out trash picked up. We are an excellent customer in good standing. The trash trucks are nowhere to be seen. Out trash has been out front as always with trash in receptable for aprroximately ten days. We contacted ************* and got no answer. Noone will ansewer phone. We filed a complaint on their website contact for WASTE CONNECTIONS the company that aquired this company. NO RESULT. WASTE CONNECTIONS has our money and will not pick up our trash.
