I am not liable for this debt with ABILITY RECOVERY SERVICE. I do not have a contract with ABILITY RECOVERY SERVICE. They did not provide me with the original contract as requested.Customer Answer

I am writing you as per your response about my complaint to the BBB, dated June 17th, 2024. #ID ******** to **********************. This was not a form letter I saw this process on a you tube channel. This collection was from when I was hospitalized **************************** for 4 days. My insurance was on file with the *************************************. If ************************ Services, LLC had just done their due diligence like the many physician groups who gave me care me during this hospital stay, I wouldn't have had my credit affected for the last year and 9 months and I wouldn't have had to file this claim to begin with. This incompetence has affected me not being able to purchase a car and has led to me being turned down on a number of credit card applications. In closing I'd like to state I did have **************** at the time of this hospitalization you will find them in the attached. The insurance card is my current one for 2024 but I had the same insurance at the time of my hospital stay. I also did ask for the original contract and through credit karma and didn't receive it. I also filed a complaint for the same bill that is coming up on my trans union credit report from a different collection company named ARC ***************** LLC for the same collection complaint #********. I used the same verbiage, and it was sent to the company. ARC ***************** LLC replied and said if I had insurance at the time send them the front and back of my insurance card and they will contact the insurance company to confirm this, which I did. I'd like to get this complaint processed the same way, so I have a record and the BBB will send the complaint on my behave so they don't ignore me again. Please forward my complaint. I am not trying to beat the system. I had insurance and this is truly a mistake that is hurting me.
Thank you

I have never received a bill. I have none of my doctors billing me. I have reported them before and they said they would have dropped it off my credit within ***** days. It's still there. They agreed to this as well. They said it was not my bill as the numbers were supposedly incorrect. I feel I have been wrongly charged on my credit. This isn't my bill, they also said this isn't mine. Please I need to get this corrected. I would also like some restitution for this since this has affected my credit for no reason at all. I feel as I've been hacked given that the doctors/hospitals have also been cyber attacked. I feel as though they've received that information that way. This is a scam and I'm sure this happens to a lot of other people. I have good credit and this false charge is ruining it. It isn't even mine. I receive ******** as well and it covers my medical expenses I've never been billed by anyone.Business Response

I have received documentation from Ability Recovery Services LLC that is suppose to be proof of medical treatment that I received from a variety of medical professionals. This documentation does not include any signature from myself or nor does it show the facility location where treatment was supposedly received. The documentation states that I received treatment for a variety of conditions and that the original creditor was *************** Physicians of WV LLC. In my research, I have not been able to locate this billing agency nor have I had any of the treatments shown in this documentation. I have read over the complaints and answers from Ability Recovery Services and can't believe that people are actually paying them to remove this from their credit reports. This is an illegal scam and this creditor is in complete violation of innocent people and their personal data. They are collecting on fraudulent debt. I have reached out to a few of the medical professionals and will also be including them in an inquiry for use of my personal information. I want these debts removed from all credit files and I will be filing fraud charges against all persons mentioned in these documents as well as filing a complaint with the **************Business Response

I am not liable for this debt with Questcare Medical SVCS PLLC. I do not have a contract with ABILITY RECOVERY SERVICE, LLC, which is a third-party collections agency, and they did not provide me with the original contract as requested. The burden of proof falls on the collection agency, not the consumer (me). I find it concerning that ABILITY RECOVERY SERVICE, LLC is not complying with requests to provide the consumer (me) with the proof of an original contract with them, and verification of the debt, as they are legally required to do upon the request of the consumer (me). I request that ABILITY RECOVERY SERVICE, LLC provide PROOF that they sent debt validation, as is my legal right. If ABILITY RECOVERY SERVICE, LLC cannot provide proof of the original contract between me and ABILITY RECOVERY SERVICE, LLC, I demand this account be removed immediately from my credit report, including removal on Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion as is my right per FCRA section 623.(a)(I). This is my last request before I file a formal complaint with the **** and the FTC.Additionally, if this account is not removed from my credit report immediately, as I have requested pursuant to my legal rights, I ******************************* RECOVERY SERVICE, LLC for $1,000 per violation, and defamation of character.Business Response

This company keeps reporting old collections on my credit report, every time I try to talk to them about it they get rude and hang up and then take down the report and report it again as a new collection. They have mad my credit go down by over ***************** the past 7 months while Im in the process of trying to purchase my home. Theyre duplicating accounts as if theyre newly open which is too much of a coincidence. This is really low especially for someone who has worked very hard for their credit just to purchase a home for me and my kids. I wish someone would look into this ASAP because it is the only thing getting me approved for my house. They also put down these collections as disputed when all I asked for was itemized receipts. Now I have to try to un dispute them . Someone please fix this . This is horrible and I seen a lot of cases same as mine.Business Response

This is incredibly outrageous, logging into my online banking account through empower federal credit union and seeing multiple accounts which, by the way are really going to affect my entire household, just to make the realisation that none of them are my purchases, known and or aware of or permitted inquiries, theyre not even in my current state of residence, and I lastly, if I felt I could keep tabs on using a form of credit, that I knew wholeheartedly that I would never fail to make every payment on, I might consider that. However, I know full well where my credit score stands, I know it is not close to perfect, but I have worked so hard to get the fraudulent accounts off of my credit score and most have been eliminated. Which I did through Experian. All of the accounts listed as coming from this company are not my approved accounts. Unless Im mistaken and they are student loan accounts. Please consider this information, I will send any additional information or details necessary. Thank youBusiness Response
