    Oct 12: Both our double wall ovens had broken. I ordered new ones from ******. I had an installation rebate from ******. ****** uses Crume Installations.
    Nov 3: Scheduled installation date. No show. Crume said it needed measurements first.
    Nov 9: Someone came out and took measurements. He said the new ovens should fit.
    Nov 15: Crume said the measurements were still being evaluated and that it couldn't schedule the installation until the evaluation of the measurements was completed.
    Nov 23: Crume scheduled installation date. No ovens to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Of course, no one came. (Our phone number is from CA.)
    Dec 4: Crume said that it needed to make sure the ovens could be installed with the measurements it had. Lowe's confirmed that the ovens could be installed.
    Dec 18: Crume scheduled installation date. Crume called up before 12 to say that the site would need to be ready for it to do the installation. She said we would need an expert to do it and that she had the unfinished trim. I said that we’ve done such things before and could do it. We would just need the old ovens hauled away. She hung the phone on me, then hung up and never called back. No one came that day.
    Dec 21: Crume said that it couldn't install the ovens unless the site was "site ready." I said that I couldn't get the site "site ready" until the old ovens were hauled away and that I had paid to have them hauled away. Crume refused because it would be a 2nd trip. I told her that I would talk to Lowe's. She called Lowe's and then agreed to have someone haul the old ovens away. She said her scheduler would schedule it, and Crume would call me back within 24-48 hours with the scheduled date.
    Dec 28: A week later, Crume called and said the ovens would be “delivered” tomorrow. We need the old ovens hauled away and the new ones “installed,” not “delivered.” I canceled the order.

    Hi Joy!
    It appears there is a process and communication failure between purchasing and installation. The process is to measure the site, provide measurements to the store, store advises customer best product suitable for the site measurements, customer purchases based on professional measurements and product specifications, product arrives at the distribution center or store. From there procuct is either delivered to the store and installer picks up on date of install or it’s direct delivered to the customers home via another 3rd party not associated to Crume. Once product arrives at the store, it prompts Crume scheduling process. If the product is direct delivered to your home, the delivery team (not associated to Crume) will call to advise delivery date. Then Crume is advised it has has arrived thus prompting installation scheduling.

    Shall customers purchase product without prior detail (measurement), there are alternate process flows but for liability and product function purposes, the site does need to be measured and ready, along with confirmation of product delivered, before installation.

    Purchased Bosch dishwasher in January, 2023 in Orlando at *****s who sent out two young Crume installers. Dishwasher began to leak almost immediately. Bosch repair discovered dishwasher was not installed properly by Crume, and was broken when installed. (Didn’t put protective barrier under counter, didn’t secure feet so machine wobbles, and then, dented the side so the racks hang crooked!) Crume sent out a repair person who took one look at our unit and said he was going to report we needed a new one. Haven’t seen that report. Ten months later, it still leaks, it is still hanging loose in our kitchen, and Crume cannot be bothered to respond.
    ****** finally agreed to give us a new dishwasher and promises not to send the Crume dishwasher installation team. (Fingers crossed this actually happens.) We get to pay for the water damaged floors/countertops/cabinets.
    Perfect example of what’s wrong with US companies—not enough employees capable of doing a decent job, too many corporate execs only interested in making a quick buck. Cannot WAIT to see Crume close. It’s a-coming … ??

    Terrible installers had Juan install a dishwasher I purchased from Lowe’s. After waiting 15 days for install Juan came to install. After he left I noticed a Hugh gap in the cabinets it wasn’t installed in center and not level cannot fix for another 10 days this company is the worse installers .

    No Call, No Show two days in a row. Can’t believe L***** uses them. Would have been ok if they could have called with updates so I didn’t have to waste two afternoons. Ask for a different installer!

    Tim M****** did a good job installing our new dishwasher - absolutely no problems. The installer was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and polite. Appreciate the service provided.

    Horrible service. They were contracted by L**** to install an over the range microwave and it was installed tilted back and upward. They insist that this is the way the new Samsung microwave is installed. I asked L**** to handle the problem and it has been weeks and it is not resolved. The installer even mentioned to me that he had another "woman" complain about the same problem and he explained to her that this is done correctly. I have been remodeling homes for several years and never have I seen this. I contacted Samsung and they assured me that it is not installed properly. I am still waiting for it to be re-installed so I can finish the kitchen remodel and move on.

    I wish I could leave no stars!! The ABSOLUTE WORSE!!! So I ordered outdoor blinds through L****. Crime gave me a install date of 10/24/23 I was away on business but to get the job done I flew back to my residence. The installer arrived about 12:45pm and by approx 1:00pm says due to the weight of the blinds he was unable to complete the job by himself, he further stated he was gonna go get a helper and return. Fast forward at approx. 8pm I received a call from the installer stating he was unable to get help and someone will be calling me back the following day, on 10/25/23 at approx 2pm I received a automated call from crume rescheduling me for 10/30/23. So let’s put this into perspective i now have to wait and be inconvenienced for another 6 days six days because they were not prepared to do the job. I contacted L***** and we did a conference call with Crume and to be honest that was a complete waist of time. crume customer service is horrible they have a blatant disregard for my time in fact the female representative had the gall to say “Give us a five day window for rescheduling your installation because we are going into our holiday season and we will be busy”. No Thank you i will be getting a refund. These people are a joke. Wouldn’t recommend them at all for anything. Please do your research before hiring theses guys.

    The dishwasher purchased at ***** in Opelika, AL was to be installed at my college daughter’s place. There were some scheduling problems but that was resolved. Two guys brought the new dishwasher to her place, installed it but realized they needed a part. THEY SENT MY DAUGHTER TO GO GET IT! Now she was completely wrong in the fact that she actually went! She called a guy neighbor/friend to stay at her place with the installers while SHE went to ACE to get the part plus spent her own money! What were two grown guys doing while she was gone and ***** was paying them? Just writing this review infuriates me all over again. After the installation was complete they left and left the big box that the dishwasher came in on the porch. She didn’t notice the box until after they were gone so she had to break the box down and throw it away in a dumpster nearby. Once we heard of the events and discussed ALL of the things that went wrong and how it was handled on both of their parts, we called Lowe’s numerous times and finally got to the right person. We are only offered $75 gift card instead of the full $180 for installation plus the $11 she spent on the part. Oh and then they didn’t screw the bracket to the counter or a brace so it fell forward every time she opened the dishwasher door. They came back out to fix that and my husband spoke with the installers then. It was a ridiculous situation. Installers sending a college girl out to get their part, spend her money and she actually went. ?? She now knows how to handle any future situations.

    On August 1, I purchased a microwave from Lowes in Tampa FL off Bruce B Downs to be delivered and installed. The micro was in stock. The employee put it aside for pickup. I received the email from Lowes that provided four "Installation Appointment" steps. Awaiting product had been checked, "Ready to Schedule" had been checked. After three days, I didn't hear from Crume. I called and was told that they were booked a week out and that I would receive a call. After about a week, I received a recorded message providing the date, 8/11. On Lowes' email, "Installation Scheduled" was checked. My husband took off from work. They were to arrive from 10-1. I called Crume that morning to get the scheduled time and told my husband. While at work, I received an email stating that the appt was cancelled. I called and was told that "Crume went to Lowes and waited 45 minutes...Lowes did not have the micro and that the employee had other jobs and was not going to wait. " I told them that it wasn't true because I knew the micro was there. I called Lowes. Lowes told me that the micro was there with my name on it. I was upset because someone was lying. I told Crume what Lowes stated and to not let it happen again, I was going to pick up the micro. I drove to Lowes after work. Lowes proved what they stated. I spoke to Lowes manager (8/12), and he promised me that he would called Crume's mgr and make sure everything was taken care of. I asked the mgr to make absolutely sure that Crume understand that Lowes has the micro, Crume would pick it up, deliver, and install. I am looking at the four steps again on "Track My Install". It is on the 2nd step for Crume to call me to schedule an appointment. I really don't want an automated call to call me with a preset date and time. A "LIVE" person should do this, so that I can pick a date that fits my schedule. I AM PRAYING THAT I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER TWO WEEKS (A MONTH) TO GET THE MICRO I PURCHASED INSTALLED.
