1 starPurchased 2 windows and 2 exterior doors through Lowe’s. Poor communication, they came out for the doors even though I indicated they can wait a few extra days for the windows to arrive if that would be easier for installer. Door 1 was installed, no issues. The second door was not the one I ordered, probably mistake on Lowe’s side to give the installer the wrong door. So then they waited until the windows were at ready for pickup but every time I went back to the end of the scheduling line ( at least 2 weeks if you can take the offered appointment). The door was schedule to arrive 7/7 but they came to install the windows 7/5. Then they waited until the door was at the store (it arrived 7/5 , 2 days early). Then I get a text message with an appointment offer 2 weeks later and it specifically mentioned that I would receive a call if I did not respond to the text. No call ever came.
Of course nobody showed up on the date offered and I had to call and again went back to the end of the line. I asked to speak to a manager and after several call got a response. Was promised that the install was going to happen 8 days later. On that day I received a call that someone was coming in 15 minutes to measure. I explained that it was a manager/co-owner arranged install. Employee stated ‘I just do the measurements, let me call the office’ . No call back, I had to make several calls again just to find out that the install wasn’t going to happen and they would reschedule.

1 starThis company is HORRIBLE. I bought a new Whirlpool microwave from ****** and Crume installation company to install the microwave. Crume came out late the first day of install. Crume installer drilled holes in my cabinet into very thin wood and expect that to support a heavy microwave which could very likely to fall at some point. He also did not seal the exhaust which blows into my cabinet, which Whirlpool said that will void my warranty if not properly installed. Because of installer not sealing the vent it caused damage to my stove by not removing the exhaust steam/heat being not sealed properly. So, I contacted crume about the situation, they set an appointment and installer DID NOT SHOW UP OR CALL, and ruined my entire day waiting. So, they scheduled another appointment, and again, the installer DID NOT SHOW UP OR CALL, ANOTHRR DAY RUINED. So I said I do not want that installer back out, and that this is very unprofessional.
So they were pleading with me to let him come back out, because he is the only one in my area. So, I said the ONLY WAY I would even let him come back out is you replace my damaged stove FIRST. then I will let him come back out. Emanuel manager said he will replace the stove, then they start changing there tune and making excuses why there not replacing it. So, right now I can't use my stove or microwave until this is resolved. Installer also left a mess for me to clean up after he left. This is HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE COMPANY. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE.
THAT EXPLAINS WHY THEY HAVE A LOW RATING. SHAME. So, they still have NOT MADE THINGS RIGHT. HORRIBLE COMPANY THAT DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. BEWARE. YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY ALLOWING THIS COMPANY TO DO ANY WORK FOR YOU. YOU WILL REGRET IT. LOOK AT THE HUNDREDS OF OTHER CUSTOMERS REVIEWS ON WHAT THEY DID TO THEM.Review fromTami M

1 starBAD COMPANY! I agree with several of these people. should have a MINUS rating. We have been dealing with Crume Installation/***** for dishwasher and microwave purchased on purchased on April 23rd. We were assigned William to install. He picked up both. Date was set up May 3rd between 11 and 2. We waited all day no installer. Called ***** Installation CSR who said the installer came, knocked at our door, called our home phone but no answer. LIE! We have 3 little dogs that bark at everything...no knocking. We were here. Later William texted us that his van broke down at 2:57, can he reschedule for Sunday May 4th. Came, installed microwave but said we needed a plumber to replace valve. Had plumbing work done. Dishwasher install scheduled for May 20th. He canceled again. Called both Crume and ***** Installation Reps. Rescheduled for May 27th. His van broke down again!!! Called 2 different ***** Installation Reps about continued problem. Suggested that ***** NOT USE CRUME anymore. Cancelled install & return dishwasher. NOTE: this going on for more than a month. We texted him to return dishwasher to LOWEs as soon as possible so we can get a refund!! UNRELIABLE. UNPROFESSIONAL.Review fromMindi B

1 starIf we could give this company less than a star we would.
We purchased through Lowes in November 2024. We scheduled our appt for asap. That was 5 weeks out. Our first appointment was canceled due to the installer calling in sick to work. We went to the back of the line which was 2 weeks later. The guy that measured the first time (before we purchased our oven) came to install it end realized it didn’t fit. He had to reorder a new oven. When that oven came in, we went to the back of the line again. Feb 10th my husband called to see if our oven was to be installed today, the customer service rep confirmed that it would be installed today between 11a-2p. At 2:50pm we called to see when the installer would arrive. The representative was confused about why we hadn’t heard from the installer and said she’d call us back. She called back 20 min later and said we were told incorrectly and the oven would be installed tomorrow (2/11/2025).
Each time we have had any customer service interaction, it has been extremely unpleasant. No accountability. No apologies. No empathy. While the inconvenience of the rescheduling and measurement mess ups are irritating, the customer service side of it is most upsetting. They have been rude, hateful, interruptive and disrespectful. Today I spoke with Anna in customer service but we’ve spoke with multiple females who have been just equally as rude or worse. We’ve asked to get a call back from anyone above the customer service level on three occasions and have never heard back.
If your Lowe’s uses this company to do their measuring and installing, I recommend you shop elsewhere locally. We will not shop appliances with Lowe’s again until they no longer work with this company. Ever.Review fromBob R

5 starsAfter reading the below reviews, we were really concerned about the installation for our dishwasher that we bought thru Lowe's. Perhaps we got lucky with our installer.
We were called while on the FL Tpke in the midst of a Thanksgiving detour with an incredible amount of traffic. Not a good time to be talking on the phone. Surprisingly, one of the options was "Press 3 if this is not a good time to talk" which we did. We later received a text message with a date and time for an installation appt and indicated if it was not good, the directions to get a different appt. The date and time happened to work for us. It also indicated the installer would call prior to arriving.
The installer, Jeremy, did call ~ 15 minutes before arriving. He had our dishwasher and went right to work. He was professional, efficient, polite, personable, and checked his work to ensure nothing was leaking. Picked up any stray packing materials. He then took the time to explain the dishwasher, how to clean the filter, etc. We have yet to run a full load, but up to this point, we have to say the installation went well. 1 starHorrible customer service or service in general. Was supposed to have installation on November 22, 2024. No one showed up or called. My husband contacted company the following day and was told the item wasn't in stock. That was the first lie. My husband works at Lowe's and was looking at our item in their pick up area with our name all over it. If your employees want to lie, you may want to make sure the person they're lying to doesn't work at Lowe's. My husband tried for days to get a response from someone after the employee he did talk to told him someone would contact him about that lie and the no show. I started calling yesterday. The first person I spoke with obviously works at home because I could hear her in the bathroom and could hear car alarms going off. She put me on hold but didn't actually put the call on hold. Not exactly professional but I'm not seeing much professionalism in this company. Asked her if I could speak with manager, she said she didn't have a number for me so I asked if she could forward my information to a manager and she said, "there's no way to do that." Yet another lie. I hung up and called back to speak with someone else who says she will have a manager contact me. We've been told they will contact us since November 23, 2024. Still no response. Someone is supposed to show up tomorrow, December 4, 2024. We'll see if they actually do.Review fromMinz J

1 starWe had them scheduled to exchange our double wall oven/microwave. They came by a few weeks before to take measurements of the space. He ended up breaking/cracking the glass of our old oven door and we were not able to use it at all! Our replacement over was only arriving 2 weeks later. We tried calling them several times and the manager stopped answering and replying to our emails. They did not even offer to replace the door or free installation.Review fromke g

1 starI bought two appliances from Lowes; a microwave and a double oven. I paid the delivery and installation costs as illustrated on my ***** receipt. Yesterday the installer from Crume called around 12:30 to inform us that he was running late and had one appointment before he would make it to our house. We figured he'd arrive by 4:00 as our window was between 1:00 and 4:00. He finally showed up at our home between 6-6:30 pm Friday evening. He started with the microwave installation and continued unsuccessfully until 10:30 pm. We asked him to leave so we could go to bed. I don't blame the tech, I blame Crume for not adequately manning the job. Clearly this was a job for two qualified technicians. How is one man to install a double oven that required TWO delivery men to being to out house and an overhead installed microwave/convection oven that weighs, well too much for one guy.
Our entire Friday afternoon and evening (1:00p to 11:00pm) was consumed with an installation that never happend. The microwave is now in our garage along with the double oven (also to be installed by one technician) What is going on???Review fromSharon P

1 starDo nit trust Crume. Poorest customer service we have experienced. Dishonest about the status of our installation. Did not return phone calls after promising to do so. Wanted to complete the 2 hour plus installation at 8:00 pm when our appointment was from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Placed our product / installation order in a refund status with Lowe's which is an action of which we are only authorized. We are still waiting on a new scheduling appointment. They have a monopoly with Lowe's. We have no choice to request another installer. This should not be allowed. Beware. Do not trust them. Would give a minus "zero" star rating if possible.
