1 starDo NOT use this company! I googled movers and Allied One was the first company to call me. I spoke with ****** , who told me he would be my contact person. This is the first moving company I have ever used. I was told after I gave them a deposit that I would need to pay another payment with a cashiers check upon pick up and the remainder on delivery. A week later I received a quality assurance call and had to pay another $1500.00 . I texted ****** ,my rep and asked him why I had to pay more. He said I must have added a bunch of stuff, when in fact I had removed an entire 3 rd bedroom and a jacuzzi. When I questioned him on that , he stopped texting me. Allied one then sub contracted a Familiar Movers based out of *************. ***** and his partner showed up at our house 2 days late, loaded up our items and asked me for payment. I gave him the first cashiers check for $2061.00 . He told me I had to pay him an additional $422.00 because he needed 60% of the remaining balance instead of 50%. Now comes the best part! We were called by the drivers for our delivery time and told we had to pay in cash as the move had to be paid in full before they would unload the truck. They said they was a hold on the cashiers check we gave them.So we had to scramble to the bank and get cash. Upon the truck arrival, they would not unload until we gave them full payment. We gave them half and they grudgingly started uploading. I have been calling every day to have them return my cashiers check and have only gotten a run around. Also I received some one elses box full of Pokmon cards and they have not found my end table which is a family heirloom. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

Good Morning *************************,
We apologize for the dissatisfactory service you received and have since removed that motor carrier from the network of carriers that we collaborate with. They have advised us that they did not cash the cashier's check and as such you are able to report the circumstances to your bank and the bank will release your funds back to you.
Kindest regards,

1 starThis company is HORRIBLE DO NOT CONTACT THEM. I scheduled a move, signed the contract and had to cancel. They took my deposit, I did cancel within the time allotted and STILL trying to get my refund. I have called 10 times, emailed the managers with no response. I may have to hire an attorney. Every time I call I get a run around.. we can only email accounting they will contact you. I canceled on December 19, 2022.. It is not January 31, 2023.. BEYOND RIDICULOUS. I now in the process of tracking down the owners and writing letters. I just want my money back.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

1 starStay away from this company! I scheduled a move and was quoted $3200. They scheduled the quality assurance call before the move. When I spoke to the person they were reading off everything I had listed and I noticed that he kept a saying 30 small boxes. I stopped him and asked when did I say that I had small boxes? He changed it to 10 large 10 medium and 10 small. Then I added 2 bikes and 3 tv's. The cost went up over $1000. Then I was told I had to make an additional deposit on the extra space. I was prepared to pay $200. I was then told that they couldn't take a card and could only take zelle! Red flags started to show and I asked how I would be covered if they were scamming me? I couldn't get a refund! They just told me to trust them. I asked which company was moving bc they are a broker! They didn't know. They didn't know what time or the exact day. They also didn't know when I would receive my stuff. They would pick it up and keep it for almost 2 weeks! I was very concerned. Then I was told that my first deposit of $1350 didn't go through bc they submitted as a check to my bank! I told them they had to submit electronically or charge my bank card. They said only ***** or cashapp. I didn't feel comfortable doing that. Then I read all the reviews and noticed they were doing the same thing to me that other people were experiencing. I was going to have to pay over $4800 for the move. Then they notified me that a lot of the movers don't speak English so if they seem rude just ignore it bc they don't really understand. I'm so grateful I only lost $200! I can't even ask for a refund. Don't trust this company. They want to get your stuff and don't even tell you when you will receive it. An 11 hour trip was taking then over 14 days at the very least. If you can live without all your belongings and pay more, go for it! I want my money back! I don't trust these people. The bank does not cover zelle if you are scammed! Don't do it!Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

Good Afternoon *************************,
We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback about your experience. We apologize that our service did not meet your expectations, however we are very transparent about what to expect during your relocation. The Binding Moving Estimate does inform our customers about the estimated delivery times as well as any additional fees that me be assessed by the motor carrier at pick up. We are also forthcoming about the role we play as a broker in organizing your order for relocation services. There are various factors that affect scheduling and routing relocations for our customers such as but not limited to availability and the space the customer requires. Keeping the aforementioned in mind, information such as the assigned motor carrier and time and date of pick up are provided closer to the actual move date in order to prevent our customers being misinformed. We also do accept credit cards, and after reviewing your file, I have verified that payment option was not offered to you as your move date was approaching and there was failed payment attempt on your file. In situations such as these we are only able accept payment via verified funds. Once again we appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best with your relocation endeavors.

1 starNIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. REPORTING COMPANY FOR *****. This company is NOT a moving company. When I put in a quote for ALLIED MOVING AND STORAGE, my information was sent to a bunch of companies without me knowing and the first ones to call were ALLIED ONE*...they prey on people who think they are speaking to ALLIED the actual moving company. ALLIED ONE is not a moving company, they are a broker who will say anything on the phone to get you to sign a contract then hire the crooked 1-star moving companies complete the move and wash their hands from the damages. They claim it's much cheaper to work with them but then **** you every step of the way and the damages incurred are now costing more than a white glove move. The customer service is abhorrant, especially from *******, but also from *******, ******* and ***** who all kept assuring me 1. the moving company they hired was reputable 2. The would work with the moving company to recover the excessive and reckless damages 3. Get back to me when this has been going on for months and months. IF ANYONE WOULD HAS HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE I WOULD LIKE TO GET TOGETHER SO WE CAN PREVENT THIS COMPANY FROM ******** OTHERS. THIS BUSINESS SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

Good Morning *****************************,
We would like to offer our sincerest apologies that our services did not meet your expectations. Your file reflects multiple interactions with various representatives within our organization and each agent has been counseled in regards to your feedback about the customer service provided by them. Your file is also duly noted with several actions taken in order to meet your requests. We attempted to advocate on your behalf with the motor carrier assigned in reference to your claims and that motor carrier has since been removed from our network of carriers that we collaborate with. We also have provided you with a refund in the difference of the space that was actually used than that of the space that was reserved. We provided that in good faith and once again we apologize that the services were dissatisfactory.

1 starTo preface, I was moving from ********* to ******. That was a far move but I cannot explain my frustration enough. Working with them was like pulling teeth. To start out, they are not a moving agency, they are a brokerage. I got a quote from them to move all my stuff. I measured all my furniture and later measured all the boxes I packed. Well, when the mover got there and said that my things took up almost double what was estimated. I don't know how that is possible, given my detailed measurements. I ended up having to pay about $1,300 more than anticipated. Not only did I pay more but when the mover showed up there was only one guy to ************* all my stuff. It took many hours. The logistics of the move was also a mess. In the estimate they gave they have ranges for delivery. Those ranges mean nothing because my range was **** days. It came in 4.5 weeks (21 business days). They do deliver on Weekends which is weird why they estimate based on business days. In my opinion it is to cover themselves. The maximum delivery for my move turned out to be 30 business days.I could never get an actual update on my stuff from the movers, they always gave broad ranges of 2 weeks. Bottom line, is expect to pay more than you anticipated, wait longer than their estimated delivery, and not get good updates on your stuff. I never got a refund for my inconveniences because they hid behind wordings in the contract that wasn't clear (in the fine print).I would not recommend this company for long haul moving.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

Good Afternoon *********************************,
We appreciate your business and would like to offer our sincere apologies that service did not meet your expectations. Our estimate does provide information to our customers to ensure they are well aware of what to expect. We are very transparent about our role within the services provided as a moving broker, as we advise our customers of what to expect in our estimates for services. For instance the delivery spread and space reservation are estimates, however there are certain factors that influence these estimates as well. The space reservation is based on the inventory provided to us waiving a physical survey. The delivery spread is based upon the miles to be traveled from pick up to delivery destination. A factors that can influence the space reservation to be considered is the way the truck needs to be loaded in order for the goods to be transported safely. If the movers are not able to pack and stack the household goods vertically, customers do tend to experience a space increase. Factors that influence delivery times include but are not limited to weather and road conditions. Our estimates provide what happens in most cases and we apologize your relocation was outside of what was estimated.

1 starWish I had read these reviews before doing business with this illegitimate company. I was quoted $4300 originally, increased to $6200 with the follow up call and then the final number at pick up was increased to $9800. They brought an **** cubic foot truck to *****************. They said it was full and charged me for the full **** cubic feet even though there were gaps in between items and enough space from the items to the ceiling that I could see all the way to the front of the truck. Then when receiving my delivery on a separate truck that was marked at **** cubic feet my delivery only took up 3/4's of the truck and they had room for another delivery on the nose of the truck. I emailed pictures to customer service asking for a refund as I was clearly over charged for my cubic feet by over 500 cubic feet at $3.14/cuft. I was called by a supervisor with an attitude who claimed the truck was actually **** cubic feet(even though it was written right on the inside of the truck that it was only ****) and that I actually used over **** cubic feet. Even though everything was picked up in an **** cubic foot truck the first time. This company is a scam and should be investigated.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

1 star*****/*********/ **** ALERT. The truck driver told me upon arrival to pick up my items that they were several hundred more cubic feet of items and that it would cost $2,700 + more than originally quoted. And that it was urgent I make a decision and pay them the rest of the money immediately. What he didn't know what that I already had the cubic feet of my items measured and document in-hand, by my previous storage and moving company. And that company was also on-site with him dropping off the items for him to take. He then also verified the cubic feet right there in person with him in that very moment, confirming there was no extra several hundred cubic feet and that the numbers were correct. The driver for Allied and his "friend" or "boss" , I'm not sure which, refused to acknowledge the dishonesty/**** and still demanded an additional $2,700+ more. I then escalated it to customer service at Allied One where they bullied me and gave me the run around and told me they were just the third party connectors and had no control over what the drivers did. It's a clear **** all the way around and they are all in on it. Unfortunately this industry isn't very regulated, and most people have no idea the cubic feet of their furniture or boxes, so its easy for them to **** people all the time. I did not agree to their demand for more money, since the cubic feet was correct with the original quote and I had the physical proof to prove it. So they then cancelled my order and left my things on the road. They also kept my deposit and refused to refund it, even though I went through their entire phony "submit a refund request procedure" that they required. The bullying/abuse and manipulation tactics on the part of their customer service was really emotionally upsetting and disturbing too. I also had to pay my other movers to return my items back to storage. Overall I lost nearly $1,000 between my deposit and paying the other company.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

Good Afternoon *********************,
We would like to offer our sincere apologies that our service did not meet your expectations. To address your space reservation complications we are obliged to point out that the space items take up in a stationary locations differs most times from the space it will require to transport them in a truck. Several factors come into play such as items that *** have the ability to be stacked vertically or not. As the brokers we ensure your relocation is executed by competent providers. As such, we do leave it up to the discretion of the motor carrier to perform the move safely and securely. We appreciate your feedback and have forwarded your experience to the Dispatch Manager for consideration as well.

1 starI am going to start this complaint with the fact that this company had blatantly breached their contract and has entered illegal territory. Many reviews about this company (which are completely justified and accurate) are about the actual moving experience or not being able to get their deposit back after the 48 hour cancellation period (as outlined on their website and in their contract). Although abysmal customer service, they are utilizing technicalities that technically could hold up if needed in a legal situation since they are just a moving broker. However, within 24 hours of signing the contract for my quoted move I requested a refund and cancelled the contract. My decision was due to the BBB reviews and my heart (naturally) dropping to the pit of stomach. I canceled via multiple phone calls and also sent an email outlining the specifics of THEIR contract and my rights within that contract. This was back on 11/30/22. After a month of numerous follow *** and various excuses from whoever is answering the phone, it is clear that Allied One Moving and Storage has no intention of providing me what is legally mine (my deposit). These are the facts and I have the documentation to back them up, I am not sure how any response from Allied One Moving and Storage could dig them out of this blatant illegal act. Either this is a blatant scam of a company (which it is) that somehow was able to get a registered DOT number and/or this entity is holding onto all unearned deposits until they acquire enough bad rap that the family owners start another entity with a eerily similar name to a big brand and repeat the process.Another note that should clearly tell you how untrustworthy this company is - the moving agent, ****, said hes been with the company for many years but this company has only been in business for a yearAllied One Moving and Storage LLC

Hello, it is now Feb 2nd 2023, after multiple calls and emails to the billing team I still have absolutely no update on the status of my refund and am continuing to get the run around. I am still waiting on over thousands dollars to be refunded, all of which I still need to help me move across the country. I continue to stand by my initial review as this is completely ridiculous. Also, you have all the information you need to put the money in my bank account (you took it out without a hassle, didnt you?). I will not stop calling and emailing until this is resolved, and if I need to, additional avenues to get what is rightfully mine will be explored (legally of-course, unlike your business practices).Review fromChere A

1 starAllied One Moving and Storage is a scam. They provided me with a insurance claims that was also a scam. I am going to get in touch with the ************************* and file with them to be shut down. I don't have the time to spend on talking about all of the bad things that happened with the process. I will be taking legal action. You sold my job to people who stole my things and damaged them. My things were also rifled through.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

Good Afternoon *********************,
We would like to offer our sincerest apologies that our services did not meet your expectations. We have forwarded your feedback to our Dispatch Manager. The Dispatch Manager has advised that they have removed the carrier assigned to your job from our carrier network until further investigation can be completed. We would like to assure you that we utilize a network of carriers that are Authorized for hire per DOT. If a carrier is not authorized for hire they are not assigned any jobs. The carrier that was designated for your move was Authorized for Hire per DOT. Furthermore, the claims information we have provided to you was relayed to us by the carrier. We know it can be a frustrating process to wait for compensation, however the claims process does take some time and if you have questions about it you are more than welcome to contact the claims company as they will be able to provide you with information about the their process. We appreciate your business and once again offer our sincere apologies for your inconvenience.
