    One star is honestly too much for this company. My wife and I were in need of a moving company and we found Allied One Moving and Storage LLC. HUGE MISTAKE. After going back and fourth with them over numerous phone calls, we decided to hire them to move our two bedroom apartment from Tennessee to New Jersey. They made us give a $581 deposit for this service and we agreed to a time window that they presented to us. The designated time window came and went and not a single person notified us that our move was no longer happening. It wasn’t until a day after their time window, a moving company contacted us to schedule our move for the following day. My wife and I had new career opportunities we couldn’t miss and at this point we had already rented a uhaul truck and trailer so we didn’t miss our plans in New Jersey. We ended up getting everything done by ourselves and have not been able to get in contact with Allied One Moving and Storage LLC about getting our deposit back since. The movers that were contracted had not heard about us until a day after the window Allied One Moving and Storage LLC gave us. Via email they are now telling us that we refused service and cancelled, but that’s only because they missed the window they gave us. It was all such a headache and after reading more reviews about them, I just hope this review saves at least one person from the misfortunes that come with agreeing to do business with Allied One Moving and Storage LLC.

    We appreciate you reaching out to us and providing us with your experience. According to our records the carrier arrived within the window agreed upon within the estimate. Granted they did arrive later than the timeframe provided but they did have a delay which happens sometime in logistics. Reasons for delay can range from traffic, weather and mechanical failure. The carrier did inform us that upon arrival you did not allow them to execute the move because there was a U-haul on the site of the move and you elected to not go forward with the move. Your file has been deemed a Refusal of Service because you canceled with the movers on site. We apologize for any inconvenience the delay may have caused, however delays do happen in logistics. In your case, the carrier was hours late and still arrived within the agreed upon dates.

    Buyer beware.When I spoke to Allied One Moving and Storage company representative initially I explained I had a 40 foot storage unit full and had given dimensions. I was quoted $13,800 and gave a deposit in check form for $5400.When it came time to schedule my move I spoke to a quality assurance rep gave him the same information with the 40 foot storage unit and dimensions and he came back with a $33,000 quote.I would have never agreed to this amount of money, I cannot afford the $33,000 and they are keeping my deposit of $5400.Im going to contact the ****************************, Better Business Bureau and the attorney general in their state. the scam needs to stop!

    I reached out for a bid on moving a studio apartment to a home in **. The caller was very high pressure and wanted a deposit that day. I informed him I was getting several bids and was not comfortable giving him a $780.00 deposit. He, ******* became very rude and told me to "stop cutting him off, when he was talking" At this point I was done.

    Original price is three times lower then that what they want to charge me now. Was laughed at, hung up on, and lied to. I am a widow of a veteran on Social Security. I had talked to at least four other people prior to pick up a belongings. Was told that it would be put on a semi right away and shipped to the state I was at. I found out they put my belongings in a warehouse/ storage without telling me they were going to. I was told by the guy who picked my things up that my bill was $3,000 less than what they want. I thought I was working with Allied *** Lines. Not the case. It's Allied one moving. You cannot reach them once you have made the contract, they lie about the whole process. They will not let you talk to supervisor and hang up on you. They are holding my belongings hostage and won't do anything until I pay they don't accept credit cards. They are charging way more than what my belongings are even worth except sentimental value. Do not trust them. Best not even to use them. Looks like I will have to get an attorney involved. Adds a lot of stress on top of the stress of selling a house and moving

We are always available during business hours and we also return calls if a voicemail is left or email is written. After reviewing your file, I can confirm that our *************************** has attempted to accommodate and address your requests and concerns within the scope which they had the ability to do so. We are not in possession of your property therefore we cannot hold them hostage, however we will reach out to the motor carrier in possession of your household goods in attempt to advocate on your behalf and ascertain if there are any issues with your delivery. It is noted on your file that the motor carrier is in contact with you as well.
