1 starI received a call from an unknown number- they call multiple times a day. This particular man called and I answered for the first time. I had a move scheduled for ***** for my mother. She moved early due to an unexpected change. When they called this particular time I advised we had already moved and no longer needed service. The man said lets be real, your move is scheduled for ***** so you and I both know you havent moved. Absolutely abhorrent customer service. I would like to be placed on your DNC list. I would never do business with a rude company like this regardless of if I needed the service or not.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

1 starI had to make a quick move; thought I was hiring Allied. Allied One Moving & Storage is NOT Allied, which is a reputable moving company. Allied One is a brokerage firm that hires the worst, most incompetent movers available and then they take a cut of the money. They hired Big Shoulders Moving & Storage to move two closets of items from my mom's house in Iowa to my house in Maine. They were incompetent! They supplied three boxes and packed like a toddler throwing their toys in the toy box. So many things arrived broken! And, one box was totally missing! The missing box had family heirloom and handmade artwork in it that cannot be replaced. They had one job to do and that was to safely move my items. They couldn't accomplish that. Their BBB rating has an alert on them for all the damaged & missing items everyone was posting about. You do NOT need Allied One! They quoted $2,360.05 for my move, but I ended up having to pay $3,164.00 ($803.95 more than the original quote) to get broken and missing items and have the BS company actually hang up on my husband when they tried to extort yet an additional $300.00 to actually deliver the items to our home. The BS company told us our options were to go get the items & move them ourselves from the next town over, have them keep our items or pay up. If you go with Allied One, you are paying for nothing. Truly, nothing. They are not worth the money you worked so hard to earn. Just go with a reputable, nationwide, respected moving company. Don't be fooled by their name; they are NOT Allied. Beware also, for payment, they only take cash, money order, postal money order or Zelle (payment directly from your checking account that acts like cash). One of their reps told me they only take payment this way because so many people cancelled the charges on their credit cards or stopped payments on their checks. That should be a HUGE red flag warning. Oh, and the insurance THEY INSISTED I sign for is worthless at 60 cents on the pound.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

We can appreciate your position that the motor carrier designated to execute your relocation bore a distasteful reputation. We would like to assure you that we utilize a network of carriers that are Authorized for hire per DOT. If a carrier is not authorized for hire they are not assigned any jobs. The carrier that was designated for your move was Authorized for Hire per DOT. I would like to thank you for that feedback and I hope it pleases you to know that I have forwarded that feedback to the proper channels in order to improve the quality of our customers experiences with our carriers. Your feedback is valuable to us and upon careful consideration of the feedback you provided we have removed the carrier that performed your relocation from our network of motor carriers that we collaborate with.
In regards to your missing and damaged items, we are fully aware that sentimental property is irreplaceable and once again we are deeply contrite that you experienced this loss during the course of your move. After carefully reviewing your file, I can confirm that you did not contact us directly and inform us of any part of your experience. As your broker we would have been able to advocate on your behalf to bring forth a more feasible resolution for you, if we were given the opportunity to do so by you informing us of your dissatisfaction as well your missing damaged items.
Permit me to explain the process that is undergone in the event a claim is required to be pursued. When a client advises our staff that they have missing or damaged items subsequent to them accepting their delivery from the carrier, our staff will contact the carrier to see if any of the items can be found in their warehouse. Generally, this process can take 1 to 2 weeks and the carrier will make accommodations to retrieve any items that were delivered to the client that are not theirs or bring located items to the client per the email. In the event, there is damage to the clients goods, the client will have an opportunity to file a claim under the carriers insurance policy through the carriers claims company. The client will be provided the Carriers Information and DOT & MC # 's as registration information and the ************** information. Your estimate included Basic Valuation Protection at $0.60 per lbs. per article with no cost to you, however you do have the option to purchase additional coverage. We invite you to contact our *************************** at ************ and allow us to assist you with the claims process personally.

1 starHorrible experience, stay away! Sorry I couldn't give less then 1 star. Agreed to contract on a Friday afternoon for $2577 with $979 down payment. Got a call from ***************** as told I would Monday after 3pm EST. Found multiple mistakes including me adding 3 items (a rocker, TV stand that could be disassembled, and one nightstand) but also ************** mistook me saying California King *** for twin ***. He also told me my pickup window was 3/24/23 to 3/26/23. What wasn't said was this was at the descretion of the driver where I thought it was mine. So gentlemen put me on hold to get new estimate and came back and said $3600+. I bulked and he came back and said $3056. I said fine. But again, things not explained in full. I thought $3056 was a total price, it wasn't. It was in addition to my deposit. So from $2577 to over $4,000+ for a rocker, TV stand and nightstand. Told them I wanted out and about a half hour later got a call saying fine but they had to register move with DOT and the cost is $1579, meaning no refund. So for those who think the governemnt moves slowly, this proves that ***** minutes after new contract they charged this outfit $600. That of course is sarcasm. Told representative I had called bank to stop payment and was threatened with a ****************** I told them to do what they had to do. At one point was transferred to customer service. While the agent was speaking I came out and said "no,no,no,no." I was then chastised by CUSTOMER SERVICE for being rude and told that is not good phone manners and told they WERE going to send the rep a message, but made it sound like because of my rudeness, she might not do so. We failed to illustrate the value of your services we intended to render and for that we are genuinely apologetic. You may not eligible to receive a refund of your deposit but I have changed the status of your file to be On Hold. You may use the funds up until a year from your booking date which was 03/18/2023. 1 starThey keep calling me with spoofed numbers. I asked to be added to their DNC list and ***** tells me there is no list and Thats not how this works. I asked if he can simply not call me again and he tells me he has no control over that despite me telling him I booked someone. 1 starIf I could give no stars I would. I requested a move on a specific date. The day before the move I was given a time window for their arrival. The next day I was told they would not honor that date and could move the date anytime they wanted for no reason. I estimate changed twice and ended up being double the original estimate. I was charged for packing materials. I was charged $90 for a service fee for a check which was the only payment theyd accept. They asked for the earliest delivery date I would accept, told me theyd call that night or the following day to give me my delivery date. I received no call. When I called the company today they said my delivery could be anywhere from **** days. They accept only cashiers checks or cash and when they change the price of your move they expect that money on the spot , no matter what day it is. This is one of the least professional companies Ive ever interacted with. Im still waiting for my delivery or for a call telling when that will be.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

We appreciate your feedback and we are deeply apologetic your experience was satisfactory. Your record indicates your relocation was executed within the agreed upon timeframe of February 24th-26th. We did advise you it would be February 24th, however your pick up was pushed further down the schedule due to a pick up before your pick up running longer than scheduled. There was no service fee of $90 charged on your file, however in order to confirm and explain the charges you incurred on the day of pick up our Dispatch Team will request your Bill of Lading and review it for any discrepancies. We will also call you and review the charges with you. In the event any discrepancies are found we will advocate on your behalf for the motor carrier to make the necessary adjustments to your final order for services. Our estimate does advise you of the estimated delivery spread which is **** business days, however upon requesting your Bill of Lading, we will also request a status for your delivery so we are able to provide you a better timeframe in that regard. 1 starLies NEVER CAME TO MOVE MY STUFF AND I WAS PROMISED THAT MY REFUND BY ************************* HE IS A LIAR. THEY TOOK MY MONEY FOR MY DEPOSIT AND SAID THAT MY MOVE IS ON HOLD I AM ALREADY MOVED I JUST WANT MY $820.00 back. They quote me $2000.00 once quality assurance called me it went up to $5300 got a lawyer and filed a complaint with the better business bureau I can't wait for the outcome.Allied One Moving and Storage LLC

1 starStole $1600 deposit with no attempt to actually help me move. I was looking for movers in October of 2022 for a move early January 2023. I chose this company because the estimate was half the price of others and the rep promised the price would stay locked in and would not increase. I planned ahead because I was on a strict budget. Later during a consultation to confirm inventory 5 days before the movers came the price increased by $700+. Again, the representative said the price would not increase at pick up. Sent movers who wanted to add additional charges upon arrival of another $700+. They refused to explain why the charges were being added at a rate much higher than the contract stated for what they were attributing it to, most of which was already charged in the contract. The movers left and told me someone else would come the next day and blamed the weather conditions. When I reached out to Allied One Moving and Storage while this was going on, I was sent to a voice-mail box that was FULL. With no way to contact anyone I was not able to understand what was going on. I spent the next few days getting indirect replies from customer service only to be told after a few days that the movers said I refused services despite begging them to stay and explain the charges. Allied One Moving and Storage refused to send another mover without an additional $500 with no promise on holding up my original estimate or binding fee. I had to abandon almost everything I owned to get across the country with only the remaining amount of money I would have paid them. This company has caused me a huge financial stress in the last month due to everything I had to do to fix the problems they caused me. It took me almost 2 months to write this review and file a complaint due to the immense stress I've been under trying to catch up and retrieve my items from over ***** miles away. We are cognizant of the fact that relocating across country is a stressful experience, nonetheless we strive to make it as easy as possible for our customers. We did take into consideration that the movers that arrived to execute your move initially failed to communicate the breakdown of charges that effected an increase in your costs. With taking this into consideration we understand your position that you did not decline services. Upon contact with our **************** Team the charge breakdown that was not explained at your unsuccessful pickup, as well as other possible charges that are transparently delineated in the Binding Moving Estimate were verbally explained to you. The section in The Binding Moving Estimate titled "Understanding Your Estimate" provides this information to set the expectations of our customers appropriately. We were prepared to reassign a carrier however we were not able to guarantee that the fees delineated in the estimate would not apply to your move. At that time you declined to move forward and your file was finally deemed a Refusal of Service. It is unfortunate you were not able to adhere to the agreement you signed and agreed to however we would not have been able to assign another carrier to a customer that refuses to pay for legitimate fees that they were counseled about verbally. You were verbally disagreeing to adhere to the stipulations of the terms and conditions you entered into at the time of booking our services. The only thing that can be offered at this point to move forward is our willingness to assign a carrier to assist to complete the remainder of your relocation, however we still offer no guarantees that accessorial fees will not be applied to your move. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best.

1 starBEWARE!!!!! If I could leave negative stars I would! This company flat out lied to us from the very beginning. We were never informed that they were a broker… so begins many issues. After signing the contract the troubles began. We had questions, No one would return class. Try to escalate a call when we could get them to answer only to be told the manager was not available. When we finally get someone on the phone she said she was in charge and screamed at my husband and hung up on him…… my daughter was moving to a job out of state. When the movers showed up to pick up her stuff the price went up. When they truck finally showed up two weeks later the price went up to get our stuff. We told the broker from the beginning she was moving into an apartment and were concerned about the size of a moving truck. The broker said as long as a garbage truck fits down the street the moving truck would be fine….. let’s just say the semi would not fit! The truck had to park a block and a half away and charge us more money for delivery!!! To say this process has been a nightmare would be an understatement.
