Zero stars! Reservations.com is a online scam dealing with fraudulent hotel booking. Should be federally shutdown. The website looks exactly like the hotel you think you are booking. After making your reservation your confirmation is then from a third-party such as ********* and you just ended up paying "$32.04" for what is now a "non refundable" reservation through a third party app. After contacting reservations.com less than 2 mins after we figured it out they basically said the service fees were non-refundable and the "non refundable" reservation could not be changed.

Very misleading website regarding 100% non-refundable policy. Website makes it look like you are booking at hotel website when doing a search. Avoid this website.

I was going to book reservations on Best Western website for 3 days in Chico Ca. So I typed in Best Western and up came the picture of the hotel like it is on their usual website., Well apparently I booked on Reservations.com and was unaware that I had . After booking and before they give you a total of your costs , up comes a total and that you are booked and it is not refundable . ! These 3rd party reservation companies trick you into thinking you’re on the Hotel website and charge exorbitant fees . !! I tried to get refund but unable . Be careful and just call the hotel directly !!

This is a zero star rating. I just tried to make a hotel reservation at Fifth Season Inn in Amarillo, Texas. I clicked on what I thought was the link to the Fifth Season Inn website. What I did not understand was that I was redirected to Reservations.com which looked just like the official Fifth Season Inn site. I booked online and paid with a credit card. Once the reservation was confirmed I was charged a $19.99 service fee. It was then that I realized that I didn't booked directly with Fifth Season Inn, but at Reservations.Com. I called their number to cancel the reservation (made just 5 minutes earlier). The lady told me that I would not be reimbursed and I would lose the entire $85.26 charge. When I threatened to go to the Florida Better Business Bureau she said that they could reimburse me through ******. Based on the BBB complaint provided by ****** * below my question is, why is this company allowed to operate? Is my experience fraudulent or is this a case of buyer beware? I will file a dispute with my credit card company.

ZERO stars!! I just tried to make a hotel reservation @ Hyatt Regency. My search was redirected to Reservations.com and looked just like the official Hyatt Regency site. I booked and paid. Then I realized within 3 minutes that it wasn't booked directly with Hyatt Regency, so I called to cancel (couldn't cancel online). They told me that I would NOT be reimbursed at all and would lose the entire $340 charge made 3 minutes earlier!!! They said it's Hyatt Regency's policy and I should have read the fine print in their booking system that says no refunds allowed. I was floored when I saw all the BBB similar complaints, over 1,700 similar fraud related complaints within the last 36 months. Somebody tell me why this firm is still allowed to do business within the US??? I told her that I would file a lawsuit, and she said she could reimburse me via PayPal though I paid with a credit card. I will use my Prepaid Legal to file a lawsuit and will file a dispute with my credit card company.

Like others earlier, I thought I was booking through the hotel website in State College PA (Hampton Inn) but I was not. It was my fault in a way for not reading everything thoroughly before clicking the button. As a result, what should have been a bill around $220 ended up being almost $280 by charging me nearly $60 for "State Taxes and Fees." I contacted them within 5 minutes of receiving the confirmation to cancel. I was informed that I could cancel the reservation and they would keep the entire $280. They offered no explanation for the $60 in fees and were not interested in discussing the matter other than to cancel my reservation and keep my money. I will never make the mistake of using Reservations.Com again. Everyone, be forewarned. In the meantime, I am calling the hotel directly to make sure that they actually have my reservation.

My uncle thought he was booking a 2 night stay for my parents directly with Marriott but booked a 2 night reservation through this site instead. I called reservations.com to reschedule the reservation PRIOR to the scheduled stay due to a change in my family member's scheduled surgery. When I called, I was on hold waiting for a representative for almost 25 minutes. The representative who answered the phone was not interested in helping me reschedule and told me my parents would be charged the service fee for reservations.com in addition to the 2 night stay (almost $600 total). When I tried to ask additional questions to figure out if there were other options to change or cancel the reservation (a partial penalty would have been acceptable to me), I was disconnected (and assume he hung up on me as he was clearly annoyed with my request to change the reservation. This is my 1 and only BBB review ever, but I feel strongly about this racket/less than ethical company which is taking advantage of seniors like my Uncle and my parents.

They don't even deserve 1 Star rating. I booked a hotel for 12/10/22 in Temecula, CA @ Holiday Inn. I found out it wasn't such a good deal in the end adding up to $60 more expensive than booking it directly through the Hotel itself after taxes and extra fees they add at the end. When I went to check in at the the Front Desk my booking didn't show up anywhere in there computer system. The man assisting me said he didn't recognize this company I booked through which was concerning. He told me to contact Reservations.com directly. I ended up talking to a man in customer service that told me that my reservation had been made for the day before and that I was charged as a no show. I continued to tell him that wasn't correct that I had booked it for the the 12/10. He told me that because I was the one that had booked it on my end, it would be fault and that there was nothing that could be done. Instead of trying to help me resolve the problem he was more focused on pressing me to confess that I had booked it and that it was my mistake which meant I would be fully charged. He was intense with trying to make me admit that it was my fault instead of trying to help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor which didn't help at all in the end. Instead she told me that there wasn't anything they could do & that it was my fault and I was a no show. I told her that this wasn't right and that I had booked the room for 12/10 and I was now stranded without a hotel in Temecula. She ended up being extremely rude and told me that we were going around in circles and HUNG UP on me. She had the nerve to email me saying it was a pleasure to talk to me and to not hesitate to contact her if I had anymore questions!! The worst Customer service! I really advise not to book through this company. We called my bank to dispute the charge. They are a Scam Company.

I booked a hotel for a weekend in NYC. Thought I was on the hotel's website but in reality was Reservations.com mirroring that hotel's website. They emailed me a few days ago to say that the hotel I booked is closing a wing for repairs. (I confirmed that this is true) They offered another nearby hotel for the same price. I accepted via e-mail as I was asked to do. Never got a confirmation e-mail. I called Reservations.com and asked them to confirm my new reservation. They told me I was booked. Never got a confirmation. Called the new hotel, no reservation. Called reservations.com, repeated all the steps above. They say I'm booked, the hotel says otherwise. (In all my subsequent calls to Reservations.com they claim to have no record of me ever calling beforehand. It's always starting from scratch.) I finally just disputed it with my credit card company and cancelled everything. It's a complete scam of a company.
