      The booking web page is very misleading. I booked a room, it stated pets were allowed for a fee. When the person I booked for arrived, he was told that there needed to be a different reservation for a "pet" room. I was called by the desk and told I would be refunded for the first reservation, despite the the Non-refund policy. Based on that commitment, I booked a second, more expensive reservation. Two weeks later, reservation desk sends me a note denying my refund! my conclusion for the total lack of customer service and deception by the hotel staff is: 1) The website design is meant to cause mistakes like this, leaving you in a bind when you get to the hotel, forcing you to make a second reservation with the promise of a refund. 2) this is initially done to double bookings and increase revenue.

      Terrible experience doing business with Reservations.com. It all started when they overcharged me, and then refused to issue a refund. After a dispute with my credit card, the charges were initially reversed, but then my credit card reversed that reversalleaving me paying double for the same room. Reservations.com refused to pay the hotel, citing the initial complaint to my bank as the reason. The entire process was a frustrating cycle of unhelpful customer service and bureaucratic confusion.
