    I do not have an account with **********************. My bank has been charged with a renewal fee. I did not receive an email notice in advance of this fee (to cancel/dispute it). And the only way to resolve the issue is to create an account and contact the company; which I do not want to do!

    Bought a subscription access from best buy and stopped using it after a while. Best buy eventually changed their system and I was unable to re-access that info again. So for years I was paying for an annual subscription without even knowing it. As it only showed up once a year I'd often go "Oh, I'll cancel it later." Nope. It is a b---h to cancel it as you have to play phone tag with companies until you can figure out what company you bought it from. Malwarebytes was useless as there was no way to remember what email address I had it set up with and with my luck it was one I probably abandoned years ago.

    They sold me a life-time license and when I swapped computers they revoked my license and refuse to give me access with proof of purchase.STAY AWAY -- SCAMMERS

    I would like to give zero stars I have no recollection of ever installing malwarebytes on my computer but somehow it's there. I Guess someone was conned into the "click here for free antivirus etc" The issue is that I can't uninstall it. Using the windows uninstall tool does not work because I need to unlock an "anti tamper password" Which I NEVER SET UP.I tried downloading the "malwarebytes Support tool" but I can't use it to uninstall because I don't have the paid version. Gee I wonder how that happened, oh right I never meant to install this free nagware in the first place.now guess if I an reach someone to help me... that's right not without a paid subscription. Website support ticket won't work because... that's right no paid account. Can't reach anyone on the phone because I done have a pin number because no account.So how on earth can you lock me out of uninstalling a software without the ability to contact anyone!!!

    NO On-Line Help available for Customer. No Telephone Support. No ANSWER to my Request via their Auto-Support-APP - Following TEXT I sent requesting HELP "I have been trying for over 24 hours to get support for Activating my Privacy VPN. No one has responded to my need. I'm going to contact the BBB and let them know that Malwarebytes does NOT HAVE ANY SUPPORT for their products. I am completely disappointed that a Product that costs over $100 does not have a TELEPHONE NUMBER for Technical Support. Trying to Activate my Privacy VPN puts me in a never ending loop telling me to start over with the Activation Process. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE! I am very close to demanding a refund of my charges."At this time I have requested a FULL REFUND OF MY PAYMENTS TO DATE. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

    Consumer Information:Name: *********************** Business Name: Malwarebytes ****Nature of Complaint:Service Issues: Double Billing Desired Resolution: Refund of Overbilled Amounts Details of Complaint:To whom it may concern at the Better Business Bureau,I am submitting this complaint regarding a billing issue I have experienced with Malwarebytes **** On June 7, 2023, I was double billed for the Malwarebytes ************* with two identical charges of $105.99 appearing on my account for the same service on the same date. This billing error is compounded by the fact that the services were substantially underutilized; devices I had protected would consistently become deactivated without any intervention on my part, which should not occur.Since the time of the overcharge, I have attempted to resolve the matter directly with Malwarebytes, but as of March 27, 2024, the issue remains outstanding. Given the time elapsed and the company's failure to issue a refund, I am now seeking assistance from the BBB.I am requesting a refund of the full amount overcharged, totaling $211.98. Attached, please find a screenshot of my billing history and evidence of the double charge.Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated as I seek a fair resolution.     I recently purchased Malwarebytes Essentials and the Identity Essentials piece would not work. I contacted customer service numerous times and completed the online resolution process numerous times and neither has worked. I kept receiving generic emails that would give me steps to a resolution that did not apply to my situation and then it would immediately close the case on me with no further assistance. I was charged $106 for a program that I cannot use and when I finally requested a refund I received a call back that I would have to submit for that on the site. When I attempted to submit for the refund I did not receive any notification that my request was received. This has been extremely frustrating for me as a consumer. I am requesting a refund for my current subscription so I may go with another company who has better customer relations. You cannot even speak to the technical support at this company for help with any of the products! This company needs to do better by their customers. I have also decided to file with the ************************ and my ************************ to seek a prompt remedy to this situation.

    This company does not do anything for the user except collect information. I have tried to cancel the auto renew and it leads you no where except upgrading pr paying for another service. I am not looking for a reimbursement just looking into show thins company operate in terms of not caring or deleting the service because I paid for a year. NO Option to!! I will need to delete the service and and certificate...completely remove it from my computer with months still left because I CANT CANCEL AUTO RENEW. and not a trust worthy company!!! I have many screen shots and even videos to show this but I see no option to share. NO STAR IF I HAD A CHOICE

    Someone else's name is on my account. Illegally, I might add. I was charged $63.51 and my renewal date is 2/3/24. It is 2/1/24! This is a horrible company. There is no way to reach someone by phone. There is no way to find the "pin" they ask for when you call their automated system. I want a refund because I had/have no intention of renewing my subscription. Horrible, horrible company. Obviously, they are trying to cheat people out of their money!
