    Malwarebytes is the WORST software I have ever encountered. I just spent two hours trying to get a ***** 5 seat premium license reactivated and I have valid invoice, reference number, and all else showing it is good until 06/05/2026. I cannot get through their AI Bots, their childishly stupid software pages, the help is useless, and I cannot find any activation or MB codes email from that 06/06/2025 purchase. I called the 408 number and it too is useless and doesn't do a thing without a ticket, that their incredibly badly designed software cannot generate. Unresponsive with no capability of receiving help for a personal user with proof of payment. I have all 5 of my laptops not being able to use the software except for the free version. Do not do business with MalwareBytes. They are, realistically, the worst company in the software business with atrocious customer support.

    **************** is the worse I have ever dealt with, I took advantage of the free 1 week special. I was told I had until the 4th of August. When I went to cancel on the 4th they already taken a years membership out of my account. I called customer service for a refund 6 times. 3 times I was put on a never ending hold, 2 times would answer and then immediately hang up. The last time I was called a fu##ing bit##. Each time got to speak to someone I asked to speak to a supervisor and that got me nowhere. The irony of the whole thing is that the product did not resolve my problem

    Wanted the free version. Somehow, was taken to the version that costs $84.73. Immediately wrote Malwarebytes demanding the subscription be invalidated and my charge card reimbursed. That was June 27. I have badgered them every day since, with no response whatsoever. My error but there should be a way to cancel the purchase and get my money back.

    I have been trying to close my 3 accounts with this business for over two weeks. They are very difficult to get in touch with and even when you do have a problem ticket, they dont do anything to resolve the problem. I have tried and tried to close my accounts and have followed all the instructions they have on their site but I have not been successful yet! I have opened a ticket but I cant get anyone respond to me. They close the ticket if you dont respond in a few minutes. I dont know what to do to get my accounts closed with this business. Do not use this business because you will never be able to close your account!

    This is NOT a reputable company. Today, I had $259.79 extracted from my banking account to "renew" this service. Given that they have a 30 day money back policy, I called to say I do not want this service and did not authorize the transaction. There was no reminder sent just dip in and grab funds. PLUS on their website, the "ultimate" package is listed for much less. I looked up their phone number #1 and placed a call. I was told to call another number, phone number #2, to get a refund. There are only 2 options, Sales and Support. When you press 2 for Support, you get a recording that tells you to go to their website yada yada. I call back and I am told that I need to select Sales, which makes NO SENSE considering I am not making a purchase. I am told that Sales is also for handling refunds. I call the number again and select 1 for Sales, I am greeted with a recording that tells me where to go on the website to purchase a package. WHICH I DO NOT WANT TO DO. I have to way to speak to anyone other than whoever answers the phone from the original number I called. I called again and was told that I am being rude. *rolls eyes* I explained what happened and they acted shocked that I wanted a refund, so they gave me a third number, phone number #3. I called it but cannot get through and get a message that says the number is not allocated. Thus, I call the original number again where the dude tells me to call my bank and cancel it since I have 30 days to do so. WOW WHAT STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ya know the word gets out on social media and you don't know how many subs I have now do you? So I will be making a report with my police department, filing with the ***, and also submitting this as a story for Truth in Advertising. And they call me rude? No frustrated for their lack of business acumen.

    Malwarebytes is not refunding for a service I didnt order. Called and cancelled 2 days after I received the charge and have been waiting for the refund. Now they say I have to go online to request it. $64.34. I dont want to give them more information to scam me with.

    I signed up for service over four years ago but never activated the product. I was set up on autopay and have been making the annual payments. When I reached out to customer support they confirmed there product was never used but said there was nothing they could do. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

    Charged me annually regardless of turning off auto subscription. Finally had to go to ****** and tell them to cancel it. They claimed my ****** cancellation (not my cancellation of the subscription on their website) was the correct cancellation date. I noticed 3 days after it was charged and they refunded 50% of the year fee. I paid $60...for 3 days. This company is a scam now.

    Theyre CROOKS!! They fraudulently charge my stolen card twice! One in march/ April of 2024 I reported that card stolen & I believe closed that bank acct, and again on 10/11-2024 & how the h*** they did that when I closed my bank account down in march is beyond me! I have my own security for internet! Not these fools!!!!
