  My experience with Culicidae Press was outstanding. From submittal to publication, Mikesch REMOVED, Publisher and Chief Editor, and his staff were professional and respectful of my work in the editing, design, publication and distribution of my book. They pride themselves on exceptionally well-designed products, in hardbound, paperback, e-books and audio version. I concur. When several people wanted to purchase my book in audio version and it was not yet available, the team worked hard to deliver it in a timely fashion. I received compliments from my very satisfied customers. They guided me from my initial idea to the finished product! I received personalized attention with the results yielding a high-quality book in print sooner than later. Culicidae Press is small enough to have the same person walk you through edits, interior book layout, and cover design to the final publication and distribution, which I very much appreciated. My published book has a professional book cover, a cover that communicates my design which is vital to selling my book, a professional book interior layout, with the appropriate choice of fonts and layout in color. My published book is available to purchase in bulk for promotional, educational or business use by libraries, bookstores and other institutions through IngramSpark. It is available via REMOVEDor directly from Culicidae Press or REMOVED. They provided promotion and marketing, including ISBN acquisition, and guarantee availability of my book internationally through online retailers and bookstores. There was no fees to me, the author, to have my book published. They are not a vanity press. It would be my pleasure to work with them again on my next book.

  Two of my novels have been published by Culicidae Press. With both projects, I particularly appreciated the peer review process that led to acceptance and fed into the editorial staff response. The editor's critical summary was thoughtful and well organized, chapter by chapter, and I was encouraged to follow suggestions, or not. That was respectful of my authorship and very helpful. I place huge value on the production values of the page design and especially the cover art. I was delighted when the cover was revealed and it showed off the tone and hinted at the content of the story between the covers. I value being represented by REMOVEDa publisher and editor whose list includes such a broad variety of books, whose interests are international, and whose attention to professional design and subject matter is eclectic. The timeline from acceptance to publication has followed the editor's predictions, and I would recommend Culicidae Press to other authors without reservation.

  I believe that the owner is genuinely interested in publishing high-quality books. I think the books he has made available through his company demonstrate his success in that mission. I have found him to be generous in sharing his time, knowledge, and talents. If you have questions, ask. He is very approachable and willing to help.
