Blue Raven started strong with a respectful salesman who didn't push me to buy, though that may have been because I called them and said Freedom Forever pushed me too hard. Following the initial decision, Blue Raven made it easy to move through the steps with evaluations, inspections, always explaining the next step clearly... right up to the day of installation, at which point things started to fall apart. The tech showed up and waited 90 minutes for the panels to arrive even though they were supposed to show up 2-3 days prior. He did a nice job with the panels, but did a sloppy piping job that would have let rain get to the wires. B.R. sent a tech to repair, but he only did half the repairs I asked for even though I took pictures of all the things I wanted fixed and was very specific, not just, "The pipe looks ugly." B.R. made an appointment to repair the rest, but the tech never showed up. The expected rebate check showed up, but bounced when I tried to deposit it. Dealing with the bounced check and pipe repair, I requested that the tech install consumption CTs, and after checking the agent agreed it would be done in the same appointment. The tech missed the first appointment without calling to cancel, showed up for the second appointment wondering where the CTs were. The next day, an agent informed me that they would be shipping CTs prior to my installation appointment. The CTs arrived. Without an installation appointment, a tech called and asked where the CTs were, and I told him they're on my kitchen table waiting for someone to make an appointment to install them. He installed spares from his truck and I could see from my app that they worked before I even came home that day. I still don't have that replacement rebate check, so I reduced my final payment of the main system by the rebate amount. I don't think they'll like that, but their check shouldn't have bounced, so it serves them right. What a headache! At least I'm satisfied with the finished product.
