    I saw an ad on Instagram which reported to tell you who views your profile. They offered a $1 trial period and will charge the card again, for I think $20 in 3 days. The app doesn't do anything as advertised and they do not let you cancel your plan in app. It just shows a spinning wheel when trying to pull up the plan to cancel but it never populates. The app is called Gramsmetrics which is serviced by Milky Way entertainment. The purchase was made today, 2/4/25. They have not responded to my email requesting cancellation and refund.

    I accidentally subscribed to a scam on Instagram, it was a free trial for Metric Master, which was a "followers/unfollowers analysis reporting service"I quickly caught on that it was a scam. I followed the instructions on how to cancel it. It was a dead end. I emailed the customer service address and they told me to do what I just attempted to do already. My debit card was charged $14.99 despite it being a "free trial". I then did some digging and found that a lot of people have had the exact same issue. They all found it extremely difficult or impossible to cancel their subscription and have had to cancel their credit card. I will likely have to do the same. My bank statement said the charge came from Milky Way Entertainment. That's why I'm reporting them.I've provided the reddit links of people describing the same issue ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

    Subject: Complaint Regarding Unauthorized Charge and Failure to Provide Refund Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Milky Way Entertainment LLC for charging $28.99 to my card without my full consent and refusing to issue a refund despite multiple requests. This company has acted in an unfair and possibly fraudulent manner, and I believe their practices violate consumer protection laws.Details of the Incident:Merchant Name: Milky Way Entertainment LLC Transaction Date: October 4, 2024 Amount Charged: $28.99 Transaction Reference Number: [Insert Transaction ID if available]Location: ********************************************************************************************* I initially subscribed to their service, expecting to be able to cancel within the trial period.
