Account paid in full, verified prior to payment. Website still took extra money out ($483.45 on Sept 12). Called the customer service personnel, she verified that it was overpaid and I needed to show proof it was taken from my bank account. Sent information as requested. They want me to pay $10,000 plus for a water softener they financed who isnt even registered w the BBB. My water was fine before they tested it. After installation, the water smelled like rotten eggs and has since for almost a year. I reported it immediately but they came out and said it would go away in a couple of weeks, then next time saud it was only the hot water, the next time they blamed it on my water heater. They dug up my yard which has an irrigation system without my permission and I learned after the fact that the system I was charged $10,000 for sells at Lowes or ********** for $1,000-$2,000. I have to paying MY money to buy salt as they wont remove it and they damaged my yard too!Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I REJECT this decision 100% and can PROVE it all. I asked them to remove it IMMEDIATELY after the stench of rotten eggs started immediately after installation and they refused to provide me the water report showing my water even actually had contaminants in it when I asked for the report and they scanned a 60 year old, me. I have damaged due to using their bad water and salt expenses since they refused to take it back.Please respond back. I am calling Governor ******** office and Governor of ********* if not resolved and if you close the case, Ill have to include your company in any suit I bring and Im waiting for the lawyer I got to respond back.

I also reject their response, and add to it, before my 10 days are up, that I have REPEATEDLY attempted to talk to several there and requested they call after I get off work and they are open till 10 pm CST and I get off at 5 PM EST so they have SIX HOURS to try to resolve. They talked to the Owner who apparently lied to them and they refuse to even return my phone calls repeatedly, yet give the BBBZ the response that I should contact them at that number and they are willing to help? No, I have documented they wont call me back nor the owners of the scamming water softener company, Rain King, in ***********, **, but I didnt find them registered, only Aqua Finance. Why arent they BBB accredited please? Please file this with my other email response to you.Business Response

I checked my credit report and noticed I had late payments from AQUA FINANCE *** At the time, I was transitioning between jobs and going through an economic hardship. As you can see, I have made most of my payments on time so I am asking in goodwill faith for this one time to please remove these late payments from my account. They keep opening and closing the same account on my credit score... I have had issues paying this in the passed but its been in good standing since the beginning of the year. They just reported missed payments which happened last year... they need to stop opening and closing the same account on my credit as it's financially. They seem to be trying to ruin my credit. This is my second complaint with Aqua Finance. They finally corrected my login for my online account but they do not update anything on it. My account as of 8/18/22 still shows a past due balance from June (their fault for setting the account up incorrectly), and a balance due for July. The *** statement on the account is from June and July. I am not paying a company until I get an accurate statement showing what I owe. My account balance is not on the website either. Nothing is correct and If they keep harassing me about a payment when their website isnt even updated with correct Information then I will take legal action. This needs to be resolved and updated every month once a payment is received and the statement for that month should be available online before the due date. This is the worst company Ive ever dealt with. They then harass me over phone and email and when I do respond they want my verification info, should they not have that when they contact me asking me for my money? Again.. no issue paying bills due.. but I do NOT trust this company one bit to pay them anything at all without accurate information in front of me.Business Response
