At no time did I provide such consent, and reporting this information without my authorization is a clear act of fraud. Under 15 U.S. Code 1681a(2)(B) - Exclusions from a Consumer Report, any credit transaction that involves the use of a Social Security card is required to be excluded from a consumer credit report. This account violates that provision and should not be reported.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally file a complaint against Aqua Finance regarding what I believe to be unethical and predatory financial practices associated with my ********** July 2023, I entered into a financing agreement with Aqua Finance for an amount under $2,000. Since then, I have paid approximately $1,312 toward this account. Despite these consistent payments, I was shocked to learn that my current balance has increased to $2,973nearly 50% higher than the original amount ************************ appears that interest is being charged at a rate of $21 per day, which is excessive and unreasonable by any fair or ethical standard. These daily compounding charges are keeping meand likely many other consumerstrapped in a perpetual cycle of debt, making it nearly impossible to make progress on the principal balance. This is not only demoralizing but borders on predatory lending.Aqua Finances fee structure and interest practices do not reflect transparency or good faith and are structured in a way that ensures borrowers always owe more than they originally borrowed, even while making timely payments. This is neither fair nor right.I am requesting that the BBB review this matter, and I would like Aqua Finance to:Provide a clear and itemized breakdown of how my current balance was calculated.Reevaluate the interest and fees assessed to my account since inception.Cease the application of excessive daily interest and adjust my balance accordingly to reflect the payments I have made.I believe this situation deserves urgent attention and hope the BBB can assist in encouraging Aqua Finance to correct these unjust practices.Thank you for your time and assistance.Sincerely,******* ******

    Equipment never installed properly with salts, etc. and I've called **************** numerous times and they've hung up on me each time. I'm not going to pay for a faulty product/no service and advised of this, yet Aqua Finance has now sent me to collections, impacting my credit negatively.They are a pyramid scheme with no customer or tech service, and the latter is completely disjointed from their financing arm.I want them to remove their collections report impacting my credit, remove the machine from my property, and terminate the false contract immediately.

    In 2020, I purchased a home and was approached by a representative offering a water filtration system through Aqua Finance. I was told the total cost would be approximately $8,000 and that I would only need to pay $96 per month until it was paid off. The terms were presented as a simple loan with a clear payoff.Since then, I have made consistent monthly payments of $96 for over four years (since 2020), yet I still owe more than $7,000 on this account. I later discovered this was not a standard installment loan as described, but a form of revolving or credit-based financing with unclear terms. At no point was this distinction properly explained to me.This feels highly deceptive and predatory. I would never have agreed to these terms had I been given accurate, transparent information up front. Aqua Finance misrepresented the nature of the loan and is now reporting this misleading account to my credit, making it extremely difficult to resolve or remove.

    They double bill, correct, and then double bill again. If we did not track our bank accounts this would have gone unnoticed and caused great havoc. Someone needs to investigate this company

    *************** sold my loan to Aqua Finance, neither bank contacted me to let me know this was done. May 2025 attempted to make payment and was unable to find the loan after several hours and phone calls tracked down the loan and then took several more calls to make the payment. June 2025 Attempted to make online payment several attempts unable, call to make payment over the phone and the amount requested is double the loan amount after several attempts get the correct amount paid. Today make payment on line get notified from my bank where checking account is that a 25$ increase was added on. Call Aqua Finance to discuss and I am told that State Farm added the 45 minutes later ***** came on the line and was very rude telling me they have no idea why State Farm added the fee and I had to call State Farm when I discussed it with him that State Farm can no longer add fees etc to a loan they no longer own he became very abrasive and rude. When I contacted State Farm they re-iterated that they can not add fees or change payments because they no longer own the loan, and they dont know why Aqua finance continues to tell the customers that. I want to know what this fee is and why it was added. And it needs to stop as this is fraudulent in my opinion

    I had a previous issue with this company charging me fees for fake late fees. I tried and tried to settle and they kept claiming they would take it off I even have voice recordings of this. They did not. I decided to pay the fees because I do not have time for there ******** and they wouldn't answer half the time and wouldn't give me a manager half the time. So I got it over with because I am almost done with the payments. They did it AGAIN. After I already paid them the fees they investigated and said I only owed, they charged me the exact same amount again of $325. I have proof of paying it last month and they are charging me fake fees again. I need this removed immediately or I will file a lawsuit. I want to add that I also have recorded proof of both State Farm claiming they cannot access statements for me and only Aqua Finance can. And aqua Finance lied saying they cannot give me any but so many and they NEVER sent them. I have proof that they said they would and never did. If I need to send in these recordings I will gladly do so. Also, state farm only allows one time to wave a late fee and any late fees I would have had to pay for so I never owed ANY of these fees OBVIOUSLY.

    AQUA lending took over servicing of my loan from **** at the end of February 2025. I made a payment to **** over the phone on 2/14/25 and it was never processed. I'm assuming because of the transfer. Since then, **** and **** are both reporting the loan as active with a balance as late as this 6/25. **** i reporting a 30 day late payment in January 2025 to ********** and I want it removed. I have never made a late payment on any loan and they are reporting false information to the credit bureaus. I have tried repeatedly to reach anyone at the business to go over this and the call center **** refuse to transfer me to a supervisor. I have reported the information to **** as well. It violates the **** for them to report a loan that they were not even legally the servicer on when the late payment SUPPOSEDLY occurred and to make matters worse they are intentionally making it look like I have two different loans when I in fact only have one. The loan in question was originated through State Farm and has always been serviced by ****. I was notified in February that AQUA was taking over the servicing effective the end of February, if thats the case then they should only be reporting data from March 1 forward.

    I would like to file a complaint regarding Aqua Finance who is handling of my account. I was out of work from August 2024 to late February 2025 due to an injury which required surgery and received workers' compensation during that time. This injury caused me to fall behind on my payments. I contacted the company and set up a payment arrangement which was approved until September 2025. Since then, the agreed-upon payments have been automatically withdrawn each month. Despite this, the company reported late payments to the *************. Im seeking help in resolving this issue, as I upheld my agreement. I am not trying to get out of the payments just for them to remove it from my credit report. Whatever they are requesting could have easily been placed at end of the payments.
