We had a generac generator put in & I believe it to be one of the best decisions we made. They were very professional & answered all our questions from the start of installation to the demonstration of showing us how to use it. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Generac is in over their head! They are overwhelmed with their failures from hurricane *****; lots of issues with their generators. As a result they don't answer service calls anymore! I am stuck! Wished I did not install their generator.

We purchased a Generac generator and received July 15, 2024. Did not receive handle or tools to attach handle. Called company several times, talked to multi people. Finally got tools to attach handle but no handle yet. We live in *******, hurricane season is in force. We are both 82 years old. We trusted the Generac name. The customer service at *****, ** location is non existent. If you finally get someone on the phone they say they will check it out and call you back but never do. This location should be shut down. DON'T EVER,EVER USE GENERAC.

This is not a place to purchase anything from. Bought a power washer. Only used once and stopped working. Since April it was sent by a certified technician to repair and I’m still waiting on Generac to pay the repair shop to get my item. I’ve been emailing with no response and the shop can’t get on to them. They requested invoices after I emailed and no updates after they sent me an email stating it was escalated and will see if it’s eligible under warranty for payment but the repair shop called and the part was sent out under warranty. Faulty carburetor. I told them if they can’t give me my item, refund my money because this is craziness. They didn’t hesitate to take my money but selling faulty equipment. I want my power washer back or my money. People please don’t purchase anything from Generac, their customer service is bad

As many are aware there were assorted major power failures in ************ recently. Some of the residents in my development have previously installed Generac Whole House backup power systems. Those of us with Systems were able to help our neighbors with extension cords to help save refrigerated items and box fans when the AC quit working. Unfortunately others were not able to acquire any electricity and lost food, medicines, and checked to Hotels or nearby family members homes. Some of my neighbors have asked about my Generac Whole House System and I strongly suggest using ************* (**********).They are one of the best Factory Authorized installers and servicers of all Generac Products on the East Coast. Personally, I have used Generac systems on four homes throughout the years and the peace of mind when the power fails make the System invaluable.Right now Generac is offering a free 10 year extended warranty on their product and it is transferable to new owners if you sell your home. The cost of the System is also added to the adjusted cost basis of your home when you sell it. Many realtors will now tell you that having a backup power system is a strong selling point as well.*************** will handle everything--Estimate of installation requirements and pricing._________________________________________________________________________Remember with these Systems your home loses power for about 5-10 seconds before the System activates and powers your entire home. HVAC, television, internet, water heaters, sump pumps, ovens, computers, medical devices, and all your electrical functions just as it does with the Power Company power operating normally. The power generated is very "clean power" and will not damage your valuable electronic devices. When power company power is restored the Transfer Switch System will shut you system down automatically and put you back on the power company grid.

My generator is 3 years old and I have had trouble wuth my Generac since installation . When I lose power and it's raining outside, my generator may run 30 to 35 minutes and then quits. I am so sorry that I bought a Generac and feel like the unit should have been replaced from the beginning. I am a widow and struggled to purchase this unit to help me out during power outages. The Joke is on me.

My generac had an oil leak, blown fuse, and bad spark plugs upon first install. I got the spark plugs and fuse changed. When me and the installation company called generac to talk about warranty ; the lady for generac told us she was going on vacation so she could not help us. Now been 6 weeks with a generator just rotting in my yard. Should have bought a kohler

I live in ************* and I bought a 24KW Generac Generator. $14,000 (Generator plus installation) I bought the generator right before Beryl (Hurricane) devastated the area. I was so relieved to have it, because I lost all my food and had to stay at an expensive hotel when we were hit with the tornado. (The price gouging was real) Wouldn’t you guess the brand new Generac does not work. I asked for a new one and I was told that I registered the Generator to my name and address. The crazy thing is you have to register it before you can start it to see if it works, so it’s like a trap of sorts. So you would think they would come and repair it with a sense of urgency……… nope I’m being told they can’t come until September 2024. Apparently there are so many families who own Generac’s that didn’t work that the Generac Technicians are booked out for 2 to 3 months. Keep in mind we are in the middle of hurricane season and it don’t end until November! When I tell you I regret buying a Generac and not looking into alternatives. Buyers Remorse is a real thing. But I’m gonna call the ***** Attorney General consumer affairs, and look for an attorney. Based on all the reviews I have read on this site ***** has a problem with Generac!!!

My generator is 2.5 years old. During hurricane ***** my generator died. Im an 83 year old widow who purchased this for safety of my well being. It has failed. Im so disappointed in the service I have received. I have called 13 times and sent in 2 request and I have yet to hear from anyone. This is uncalled for and unprofessional. A receptionist has put me on the emergency list twice and still no response. I feel like Generator Supercenter does not care about their customers. I dont want an apology I want my generator repaired.

GENERAC failed us when we needed them most.Bought a 22 kw generator 4 years ago and have always done service on this unit, 3 hours into Hurricane ***** it stopped producing, I received error code 1902, tech came out and said it was a known defect, rotor issue and it would be 6 weeks before the parts would arrive, I didnt have any other backup, as I should have been able to depend on this unit to protect our home during these power outages.2 freezers and refrigerators full of food lost, had to spend thousands of dollars on hotels if you could find one.Very disappointed with Generac as it let us down. Now my concern is will it fail again after repair We bought this unit from GENERAC Super Center in ******* *****
