September 18, 2023 I called to make reservations for ONE night 2 Rooms- The girl doing the booking was very difficult to understand, speaking WAY too fast to hear any of the rules-so Monday afternoon we have received news of a death in our family. We can no longer use the 2 rooms in September (30th) at the AMERIVU Inn. I have tried calling the actual place to NO avail- I spoke with the people who booked it- and they too could NOT get ahold of the hotel- It said NO CANCELLATIONS--Even for covid- I think the practices of this hotel is horrid- I travel a lot and have NEVER had my credit card charged in full-until we arrive at the property. Cancelling this much in advance- AND because of a DEATH in my family is simply UNACCEPTABLE- I AM notifying you, because THIS is reflective on your beautiful state. I will NOT be paying the $278.12 dollars on my credit card- I will pay the $15.99 on my card for the booking fee. I've never been SO disappointed in a situation such as this. I am trying to contain my anger, as I am a musician and am playing for the funeral of *****************- ***********. Thank you- please make sure this does NOT happen to anyone else. It Is WRONG---- *************************************
