I purchased a Simpson 4000 pressure washer in September 2023. By September the following year, 2024, it was broke down. It came with a warranty, so I took it to the shop the Simpson company required, in October of 2024. Here it is, mid way through June, 2025, and I still havent got my fixed pressure washer back. Which Ive called numerous times, the shop, Heretick feed and seed, **********************************. And Ive called numerous times Simpson company. Theyve lied to me, had poor communication skills, and basically told me there was nothing they would going to do to resolve the problem. That I was at their mercy. That I needed to continue to wait until they could get parts to fix it. They told me numerous dates as to when they would fix it. Each time I called on the date, only to get another excuse. I then would call Simpson again, where they would tell me they werent responsible for my problem. This is quite funny, being the warranty is under the Simpson name. Right on the box of the pressure washer. So here it is, 9 months and I still dont have my pressure washer. A pressure washer I paid close to $1000 for. This is unfair and beyond egregious operations on behalf of Simpson. The way Ive been treated by their customer service department, basically telling me they wont do anything for me and I can continue waiting on them and their approved shop, Heretick feed and seed. Not to mention almost a year of my warranty has been nullify by my pressure washer just sitting in a shop. Almost my gas lines and carburetor are probably destroyed, being its just sitting with stale gas in it. Not to mentioned the hours and days Ive wasted on the phone with these companies. I want my money back or a new pressure washer. The way Ive been treated is definitely uncalled for. No business should be able to get away with these unfair practices.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed

So, I received a call from a FNA group guy named *** ******. He told me a part for my pressure washer was sent to the mechanic and that my pressure washer would be fixed by the end of the week. Well, that hasnt happened. Again, in my original complaint, I wanted a refund for the purchase. 9 months now of these shenanigans. Not having my pressure washer. People lying to me about dates, etc.  Which, by the way, I run a pressure washing company and need reliable equipment. Not equipment that I cant even use because its in a shop for the past 9 months. Total inconvenience. Probably one of the worst experiences Ive ever had purchasing a piece of equipment. Totally dissatisfied with the product, customer service, and the whole experience. How much time Ive wasted with regard to this situation. Still no solution and rectification of the problem.

Bought a Simpson pressure washer from **********. Spent $110 under warranty to fix the unit, as the dealer is a 1-hour 15-minute drive away. The parts did not fix the pressure washer, and we had to drive to the dealer. Simpson denied warranty and a like-new unit, and says I have to pay $685 in addition to what was spent. They rejected the warranty claim repeatedly.

July 6 of 2024 we bought a Simpson 3700 pro series pressure washer. We used it one time. We pulled it out for some spring cleaning today, and low and behold our 'PRESSURE WASHER" wouldn't pressurize. We did "All" the trouble shooting, -pulled out the manual and tried a few other things..no resolution. Called simpson and all they were useful for was to refer us to a service center for a warranty service- supposedly 5 years. Called 2 service centers that we were given by Simpson and neither of them wanted to work on this simpson brand because Simpson denies their claims consistently. Service centers dont get paid at all bc the claims are usually denied, or they have to do a ton of paperwork to get paid for their service through the warranty claim for their time and labor which usually ends up getting denied. So, service centers wont do the work. There are many other complaints about the simpson pressure washer product that are the EXACT scenario that we experienced today: 1 use, not working, call simpson, referred to service center that doesnt want to do the work bc claims are always denied. The quality of this product gets a" buyer beware" from me, AND the resolution process better known as CUSTOMER SERVICE gets a big minus 10 in terms of being customer focused Do not buy this product. Now we are focused on the retailer ***** that continues to sell this brand. It is bad for business to continue to sell this deficient product Customers make a 600$ purchase and it breaks in 1 use and the customer's frustration continues as we conitnue through the warranty claim process. *******, as a supplier to Lowes, is getting away with selling a very sub par product and obviously knowing it!. Simpson, start making a better quality product, stand behind your warranty and product. Lowes, you can fix this by not ordering from this simpson line again.. Best practices would suggest you remove the Simpson brand from your suppliers list.

Hello.I want management to review my email cause this is ridiculous I paid $710.00 for you power washer to use it two time, I used it once to wash my driveway when I bought it, the next time I tried to use it it wouldn't work, it went to the shop and it needed to be fixed the pump had gone out. I then again used it one time after being fixed to wash my driveway again, new year new dirt. I don't have a big driveway barely big enough for two cars. Anyway I go to use it won't pump water no pressure again, it has a 5 year warranty on it but your customer service advises it may not be covered? To be told it may or may not be covered that is truly bs. My husband calls and TWICE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE *** HANGS UP ON HIM. Because he IS ADKING QUESTIONS WHY? why are you saying it may or may not be covered. its not our fault your product has a junk pump on it, they hang up. He wasn't ugly or cussing or screaming at them, but they hang up? They should be on the phone if they can't handle and upset customer. Your warranty says 5 years and the repair facility says you guys are KNOWN FOR DENYING ***AIRS AND NOT FIXING YOUR PRODUCT . They are refuses to pay for the defective product repairs. The repair facility says they deny it every time and he won't even accept the power washer in his shop tulsa cleaning services. Give money back, put a NEW DIFFERENT PUMP ON PART SO IT LAST MORE THAN ONE USE

From the start I had a pressure problem ,I called customer service and was told maybe air in the system, triedbleedingthe systemand still had the same problem, called the company back and again said air in the system so I asked if therewas a service center that could look at it, they gave me the numbers of two service centers,I called them and was told it was to clod at the end of october to deal with it.Called back in june, took it to the service center and they had it for 33 days and never looked at it, then took it to another srvice center and they wanted ***** to look at it under warranty .I then called simpson again and was told maybe the pump and the valves and seals are not coverd under the warranty , just the pump question the valves and seal are the inner working of the pump it made no sense. there was no warranty information paper in tne box when bought just the engine warranty information.

I am reaching out in regards to a Dewalt pressure washer that was originally purchased through ********** with warranty. The unit was used once and we immediately had issues. The machine was purchased on November 16, 2022 the warranty certification was 3 year limited engine warranty, 10 year limited frame warranty, 5 year limited pump warranty. I called ****************************** explaining the problem I had with the machine. Dewalt directed me to FNA Group who is the manufacturer for the Industrial triplex pumps because the problem with the machine was the pump. FNA group have authorized service centers that service their products. I was directed to ***** Power Equipment in the city of ****** who is the authorized dealer for FNA Group. ********************************** denied warranty stating that "all moving parts and parts that come in contact with moving parts are wear items and are not covered under limited warranty." The pressure washer machine, and all parts in the machine are moving parts. Regardless, if and when the machine is turned on or not. Meaning, when the machine power is not on the machine itself is a moving part due to the wheels moving to different locations. I went online to the ********* website and printed the detailed information about Dewalt 4400 PSI 4.0 GPM, and on the print out it has it listed 3 years limited engine warranty, 10 year limited frame warranty, 5 year limited pump warranty. The insurance coverage contradicts the coverage. Furthermore, Dewalt and FNA group are both in violation for false advertising, and deceptive and illegal business activity on behalf of the general public /consumers. I would like your intervention to assist me with getting my pressure washer fixed, refund me the purchase price, and or have the Dewalt and FNA group accountable & uphold their promise on their warranty coverage.

On 4/24/24, I bought a 'Simpson PowerShot 3500-PSI 2.4-GPM ************** Pressure Washer with Kohler Engine - *****' from Rural King for $429.93 + 7% tax ($460.03 total). I had it for about a week or so before I went to use it and couldn't get it to start. I emailed Simpson (FNA Group) on 4/30/24 to file a complaint and received correspondence back the same day from *************************** in which he told me it would be covered under warranty and what my next steps are. They told me that 'it needed to be seen by a Kohler dealer/technician'. The very next day I took the unit to the shop and they called me back later in the day that 'new' switch was bad. Up to 5/21/24, I had made multiple calls to the shop to check on status and was basically told that the part was on backorder/supplier changed systems. At which point, I sent another email to *************************** on 5/21/24 to reiterate my disgust with their product and to seek out options for them to make this right for the customer based on all the issues I've encountered so so. To date (6/8/24), I have not received any further correspondence from FNA Group in regards to my issue/complaint. On 6/6/24, I received a call that the repair was complete and ready for pick-up. On 6/8/24, I picked up the unit and brought it home. I attempted to start the unit to no avail. I've owned this brand new unit for almost 1.5 months and haven't gotten to start or use it once. No way should a company be able to sell 'lemons' and get away with it. Along with not backing up their name/product with a lack of useful customer support. For the record, I would've taken the unit back to Rural King for exchange, but they didn't have another one of these or similar products within a 100 mile radius; Nor could it be shipped to my location/store. Since these issues have drug out over 30 days, Rural King said they can't do anything about it and it needs to be handled by the manufacturer going forward. It's kinda hard to do that when they avoid the situation.

A week ago I bought a Simpson PS61323 4000 PSI 4.0 GPM pressure washer. For reasons beyond my comprehension Simpson shipped out a PS61322 3700 PSI 2.5 GPM pressure washer. Obviously not the correct model and on top of this there is a picture on the outside of the box showing what is inside along with the specs and model number. I've called ***** and they said return it to the store, order another one, wait another week and hope for the best. I called Simpson and they said "oh well, not our problem" and explained that they don't sell pressure washers and they don't fulfill orders and to call Lowes. So I'm stuck waiting another week hoping they ship out the correct unit. Lousy service all around by Simpson! Way to stand behind your product!

They have told me that they would come up with a solution when I spoke to them on Tuesday of this week and that they would call me back but I have not heard anything in response. They have not as far as I know contacted ****** to let them know that they need to remove this item from their inventory either because it is still being sold on the website and still shows as available. I am tempted to reorder the item except I already know that I will not get what I am ordering. It does not seem that Simpson cares as long as they make sales.

I bought a Simpson 4200 PSI pressure washer in June of 2023 from *********** The Quick Disconnect went bad less than five months after buying it. No big deal should be under warranty. I take it to an authorized dealer. Asked the man how long it would take. He quoted me a week. I called 10 days after dropping off my unit to get an update. He told me if he did not call there was no update. I picked my unit up two months later broken. I still had to fix the unit. Paid $106 for a $23.00 part that should have been covered by warranty. I have spoken to multiple reps and none of them care. Why spend the money for a warranty if your authorized dealers are just going to rip me off.

I purchased a PowerShot PS60843 pressure washing Oct 18th 2021. I had another power washer that started working so I never actually started this one. It has been untouched and unused and has never even had gas in it. I noticed last year that it was leaking oil. Apparently a common and repeatable issue with these so I called to take advantage of the 5 year warranty I was promised. I was told this was not covered under warranty as it is a wear item. I explained that the washer no zero wear on it and really its not a part that SHOULD wear out! I have pictures to prove its never been used but they didnt care. I was told that I could bring it to a service center but they would not send me the replacement part. Bringing it to a service center requires my time, my gas, and my efforts to address THEIR faulty product. I find this to be very poor customer service for something I spent close to a $1000 dollars on. I would expect them to send me at least one site glass and a few replacement o rings since this is a faulty product.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/31/2024

We are sorry to hear that the customers PS60843 has an oil  leak. It is impossible to make a determination of warranty with out putting hands and eyes on the machine and evaluating the cause of the issue. All warranty starts with an evaluation of the product by an authorized service provider. We cannot determine any warranty without this evaluation, especially on a 2.5 year old machine. we would be more than happy to assist the customer in resolving his issue., he only needs to follow our warranty procedures.

BBB Business Profiles are provided solely to assist you in exercising your own best judgment. BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.

As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
