Please provide BBB and the Mitchells with a timeline on when the eviction notice will be served and when the tenant will actually be evicted.

I believe ****** communicated with you via email on 4-30-25. From reading your email it appears you were satisfied.
I would like to explain how a 28-day notice works. The 28 day notice to vacate was sent 3-18-25. The notice is not valid until the start of the rental period. So 4-1-25. The effect date of the notice is 4-30-25. ***** reached out to the tenant to verify he had not vacated. ****** then informed you about our intention to file an eviction for you. We could take no action until after 4-30-25.

Consumer would like the fee that was paid in December 2024 for a lock that was *not* fixed to be refunded. They state that the business sent a maintenance person out to fix a lock that had a key stuck in it. When the person got to the house, he said the lock was crooked and he wasn't going to fix it, and left. The consumer was still charged a $20 trip fee and a $60 labor fee to fix it. He said he talked with **** about it at the time, and never heard back. He wants the $60 refunded.Regards,

Better Business BureauI have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. New court dates have been scheduled, unfortunately one date is in June, the other in November, so it looks like it will be a long time until this will be fully resolved.

Our attorney was in court. The clerk failed to call him. The attorney has reopened the case because of that failing to call him. I believe the complainant is satisfied with our response.Initial Complaint

This property management company started managing the house I was renting at the end of June when the house was sold. I complained of rodents in the attic and electrical issue. They have come out but the issues are never fixed. There are holes in the roof and siding that squirrels get in, they are chewing and scratching all times of the day and night and it is so loud that even noise canceling headphones don't work and I am forced to pound on my ceiling to get them to stop (if that works). I now have a light in my kitchen that if I use it, it flickers and crackles and pops like a taser. That's so dangerous but the only option I have would be and emergency cut off of power in 30 degree weather. MPI cancels every request I have put in in the past month.Business Response

MPI Property Management does not own the property. MPI Property Management is an agent for the owner. We can only do what the owner authorizes us to do nothing more.
Here is the situation as I understand it. The squirrel holes were patched once. The squirrels chewed another area and got in a second time. The owner does not want to do additional repairs. The owner had us reach out to **** to put mouse poison in the attic for the squirrels. She would need to purchase the mouse poison at her own expense. **** declined to do that.
MPI Property Management will reimburse **** for the mouse poison at our expense up to 25.00. **** will need to provide us with a receipt. Hopefully if **** accepts, she can put the poison out and solve the problem.

Haven't had hot water for 4 days. They keep sending maintenance people who say they are leaving to get a part and they never come back. We have gone through 3 people and still nothing is fixed. They gave money off the rent for the hassle but still nothing is fixed and it is the weekend, someone was supposed to come this morning and i havent heard anything. I have made countless calls and the communication only happens if I keep calling the office. I have reported this to the city, this is not the first time I've had to call the city to get someone to fix things. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I NEED MY HOT WATER FIXED.Business Response
