1 starWe went to a local dodge County fair looking for window vendors, we stopped at their booth, we asked if they serve the ******** area in marquette County, was told yes,asked if they do windows in log homes ,was told yes ,they made a appointment for the next day,later that day they called and moved the appointment from 7 at night to 430 no problem, well the following day came and no show ,got a call about 530 telling us that we are out of their area, then the robo calls non stop, called them back asked to talk to owners, they wouldn't let me talk to them, put a manager on the phone, told him what happened, said that they never intended to service anyone in the area, that they were at the fair just to see how many people needed windows and to see how many people would come to there booth, the robo calls became 10 plus a day ,I have had to block them from my house, was nothing but a scamUniversal Windows Direct of Milwaukee

1 starThey provided a beautiful door, but it arrived and was installed late. Communication was poor and non existent. Trim was wrong color and screen door was wrong, opening from the wrong side. They did our windows during covid and the experience was okay. This was awful, however.Universal Windows Direct of Milwaukee

5 starsThe young man that came to install the windows was polite and friendly. He was able to install the windows in a timely manner. He arrived at 10 and finished up close to 5. 5 starsMy sales rep was James ****, the contractors that came out to do the installation was Cody, Kevin and Samuel. Every one was extremely professional and knowledgeable, the contractors cleaned up nicely and upon seeing how my mom was disabled they prioritized knocking out one room first so that she had somewhere to stay safely while the rest of the work was completed. I'm very happy with my 11 new windows and I can feel the tempature difference already, we will see how much that affects these WE energies bills haha. Overall I'm a customer for life. I highly recommend universal windows direct to anyone looking to get good qaulity windows and to the veteran owned company itself. Make sure you guys hire the contractors Cody, Kevin and Samuel again they did a really amazing job 6/5 starsUniversal Windows Direct of Milwaukee

4 starsThe only complaint I had was one window was ordered in the wrong size (despite it being measured and checked twice) so instead of being done in two days in November, we had to wait for a new one to be ordered and created at the factory and then get another day scheduled that worked for both us to be home off work and for them to do the work for work, which resulted in this being completed in February. But the original two installers worked so hard and busted their behinds even with it taking two full days to do. The set of installers thats came for the single mistake window install were ok but not nearly as friendly and personable as our orignail installer duo.I still think this was a good company and am happy we went with them.Universal Windows Direct of Milwaukee

1 starAnother no show for the installers, I have been stood up for the fifth time. They have had the wrong sized windows twice and 3 times did not show. Every time I am not notified until after their scheduled arrival time. Installation was promised in July, it is now January and still no windows installed.Universal Windows Direct of Milwaukee

1 starMy experience with Universal Windows Direct is cero starts. The worst company to work with. First, the sale representative, that just wants to sale, said, we can have this type of windows, windows arrived (LATE). The installers could not do their job because after they inspected the house structure, either the windows or the walls would be damaged and they cannot install the windows. I tried to reach out to the sales rep. no answer. I have been contacting the company, and customer service, looking for help, bad service too. Then X reached out, and a new appointment to measure windows for the new windows, a big delay in making the new windows. I have been losing workdays because of this. I have no problem with the installation crew; they have been doing their job. They have been good at answering my texts and questions. I suppose to receive a call from a manager, because with new windows, I think, a new contract needs to be done. This never happened. X and the installers said that is no extra cost because Universal Windows made a mistake, not me. The new windows arrived very late, even when they were supposed to have priority. Installation for the rest of the 14 windows was scheduled. Another manager contacted me after a lot of requests from Y and me to talk about these problems. He set up an appointment to come to my house to see what is happening because he had no knowledge of what were the changes and issues. He stated that he would fix this and that he want to make sure that everything is done right. That I can trust him. He said he will be sending an e-mail with new information; I still waiting for that e-mail. The installation crew arrived with 13 out of 14 windows. I will have to lose another workday for one window. No one knows when the window will be ready, or when they will finish the job. The windows, supposed to be installed by September 2022, are not done yet.Universal Windows Direct of Milwaukee

They asked again here, to contact customer service. I did on 12/23/202. Today is 01/03/2023 and there is NO response, no call, no text. Not even a courtesy/consideration call to let me know that they are working on this. As always, no response from them.
