We have informed lsi about mold in our bed room closet, leaking kitchen sink now mold has be detected and the bath room celling. They have just come out and spray bleach on it and tell us it's not mold. Lsi has entered our unit with out 24 hour notice on several occasions. Lsi replace our blinds now want to charge us 40$ for them. I told them over a month ago we are moving out. I don't understand why they don't use my damage deposit for them. *** had worker's out fixing our sidewalk after 3 years of it being heaved up witch I have tripped over many times. In the proceeds they broke a 550$ garden stool that was not in there way. We have informed the police of there doing. 7/19/2024 lsi was here and we informed them they can not enter our appartment with out the police and 24 hour notice. Lsi has been nothing but rude to us ever since we brought up the mold and ***** issues we are having. I feel like lsi is harassing us discrimination against us.Initial Complaint

My father *********************** was leasing a H3****838333135303232H at ********************************************** through LSI Property Management and submitted his termination of lease on Nov. 27, 2023. The premises were turned over to LSI on 12/31/23 which they acknowledged and sent him his rental deposit. Since they were able to lease the H3****838333135303232H starting Jan 2024 he did not owe any additional rent. This termination of lease was done as he had to move to a memory care center in ******, WI due to dementia. The H3****838333135303232H manager was aware of this, they live in the unit next door to him. It came to my attention, he had auto pay setup in his checking for his rental payment. He paid $1425 per month for Jan 24, Feb 24, Mar 24, Apr 24, May 24. I immediately contacted the H3****838333135303232H manager. It was two days before I received a returned call. I was directed to call the corporate office in *********. I left multiple voice mails starting May 6th and explaining what happened and asking how they could accept five months of payments for a H3****838333135303232H they knew he was no longer occupying or had an active lease. I left multiple voicemails no calls were returned. Finally, when I called they answered and said a check had been put in the mail, no explanation on how this happened, no apologies. On May 10th, a check #**** was received but only for $4275 which is only three months rent. This check was from Eden *********** LLC same address as LSI. I called back, again, multiple times explaining two months rent was still owed. Today 5/30, I called, and someone answered only to reply check was put in mail on 5/28. Check #**** was delivered but it was for only $1425, one months rent. I called back communicating we are still owed for May 2024 rent. Not once has anyone apologized. How they did not notice five months of additional rent for a H3****838333135303232H they already rented out on 1/1/24 to someone else and still accepted payment is theft and elder abuse.Business Response

Hello-
upon the lease termination, they failed to stop auto payments on their end (it was not set up by us). Immediately, when this was noticed a refund check was issued, and then still another payment came through and a second refund check was issued.Our move out letters state that if they have auto payments set up they need to be the ones to stop them on their end as we have no access to their banking. When they realized they did not complete this and contacted us all monies were returned.

As previouslyreported not all money has been returned, two checks 1313 for $4275 and 1332 for $1425 from LSI were received from LSI. LSI recieved automatic check on May 8th for $1425. I will call them again previous calls have not been returned.

On 4/23,I paid $105 application fee to apply for a property listed on Zillow. After they took my money and refused to answer my requests for status on my application for over a week I told my real estate agent, she called and they told her they didn't accept pets. The advertised property clearly said they do. LSI then told my agent I was free to apply to any of the other properties listed on their website. I was not interested in any other properties and I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I texted them my complaint and the next day they responded and said they do accept pets and I was approved. They told me I had to pay a high deposit, I agreed. I also offered to pay rent in advance because it was taking days for them to respond to me. They finally responded changing the term of the lease from 1yr to 2yrs. I asked why the terms of the lease keep changing and they have never responded to me. I feel taken advantage of and I want my money back! they never pulled my credit or did a background check that I can see from my credit report inquires.Business Response

we are located in ********* and we do not use Zillow for our applications. We also do not charge application fees, and we have not since the day we were in business.

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent false report filed against me and the ongoing maintenance and staff behavior issues in my unit. Despite my repeated attempts to address these issues, they remain unresolved and continue to negatively impact the quality of my living experience here.Specifically, I have noticed mold growth in my unit, which poses a serious health risk to me and my family. Hello,
About a month ago we non-renewed ***** from our apartment complex. Since then we have received this complaint as well as others. The city of River falls visited the residence unit and found her issues were "tenant caused"-in which I can supply the letter privately. Due to the police reports filed, and my staff being scared for their safety, the city agreed it would be best of we waiting to do anything the unit needed until she vacated the residence as again many of the items were resident caused. We have over 30 written complaints regarding this situation from neighbors, many of which are also scared. None of this was an issue until we decided to exercise our legal right and non-renew her residency.

Company was going to rent me a house but then later, after holding my money for two weeks and telling me, my application was approved wrote me by text message and said the owner backed out and they were no longer going to rent the house to me but that they wont return my money after telling me that I asked if someone could reach out to me to explain when I would receive my refund no one has since reached out to me and my money has not yet been refunded. My lease ended on October 31, 2022. They are trying to charge me for November, December and January. Also have added late fees associated to the rent. I also was charged a late fee while I was still leasing and they didn't refund my money. They say i was late paying rent, but I wasn't and I have proof of that. They have actually inflated everything. I have proof of that as well. I've contacted an attorney about this matter as well. I started living at Falcon Heights Apartments through LSI Property Management from the end of August 2021 thru August 2022 and while I was living there was mold growing underneath the carpet of my apartment along with underneath the sink. There were many reviews that I have found that said that LSI has been known to not take care of their apartments and had many complaints that they did not take care of including having a black mold problem where they then painted over it with white paint. Over the course of the year that I was living there I got sick many times and now that I think about Im guessing it had to do with the mold because I had found it after I started to pack up to move out at the end of my lease. I texted them saying that when everything was taken out of my living room that there was mold growing underneath the carpet and was on top of the carpet as well where I got no answer from them about the problem. There was also many problems with the apartment when moving in which is pictured below.Business Response
