  Turf Badger (now Pest Badger?) is a horrible lawn service, when the company was Pro-X it was a very solid service, helpful technicians and very good control of my lawn issues (main issue is Creeping ********* but now the technicians barely see the yard, miss massive spots, I now have rampant creeping ******* and bald spots. They charge enough for a homeowner to expect a solid service, but that is not what you get. The technician was here last week and I got a message today that they were planning to treat again tomorrow to make up for a missing treatment from before due to rain issues. They charge per treatment, there is not a bundle price. I called and cancelled the service so close to the previous one when the grass is now dormant due to weather, I think this company is just trying to get more cash. Lastly, when I called to cancel, the staff member I talked to did not been at all surprised that I was frustrated with their service. That speaks volumes.

  Turf Badger Please beware of this company and read the fine print on the email that will be sent to you once you agree to a service. A young man came to my door in July and with misleading salesmanship had me agree to a treatment for pest control. What I did not realize is that this was for four treatments for insects over a one year period. I don't think pest control is needed in the winter months in the ****** area, however, Turf Badger thinks so. Perhaps, I am wrong. I was able to get the service for October 18th moved to April or May. However, because of the contract, I must have four treatments done. BE CAREFUL OF TURF BADGER!

  I wish I would have read the reviews sooner because the same thing happened to me. Their door to door sales operation convinced me to try their pest control service which I thought was a one time deal. However, I was shocked to find out I had signed an agreement for a quarterly subscription, AND there would be a $100 cancellation fee. None of this was communicated to me. After explaining everything to the person in charge of their billing and contacting the "part owner" of this shady operation, it didn't matter. They are insisting that I pay the cancellation fee, even though I had no idea what I was signing up for. The whole thing is misleading and a terrible way to run a business.

  I had requested this services be cancelled after paying the invoice. It was clearly notes to cancel services. However, after the invoice was paid they started doing services which were not requested or wanted. I tried once again to cancel the services on the website and of course there is no way to cancel your services. This will be my 3rd attempt at cancelling the services with a written letter.

  Did not show up at all on the day they said they would. They do not answer the phones or call back if you leave a voice message. I went to their office to talk to someone. It's a dumpy out building with a guy on the phone selling more services they do not do well or don't show up for. They owe me a refund now.

  Turf Badger - Appleton Dishonest door-knocking sales techniques. Will attempt to sell you a discount based on previous service but will secretly multiply the annual visits to end up costing you much more. Also operates with a cost to cancel service in fine print which indicates they know they are misleading customers.

  The sales person came to my door, he talked about removing the wasp nests in the peaks of my roof. They also would sweep down the soffits and the webs on the front porch and spray around the house. I told them to go ahead. I gave them my credit card to pay the $130.00 and was asked to sign an electric tablet. I was not told by signing that I was committing to a service contract. It was made to seem that I was signing for the$130.00 charge.The wasp nests were removed, there was a weak effort at sweeping the soffits. The words he used were they would wipe the soffits. The webs on the front porch that he said they would sweep are still there.That evening I received an email welcoming me to Turf Badger quarterly plan. The sales person talked about the plan but never informed me that by signing I was agreeing to the quarterly service.

  This business sends out high pressure salesmen who inadequately explain the terms of service. They are way overpriced and relentless in trying to enforce their "contract".
