86 YO Elderly Couple Taken **************************** were working in a yard in my mom's block in a gated community. Mom needed yard work and we asked if they could give a quote. Impeccable ************* came over, walked the yard and provided a quote of $2,800 for bark dust and trim arborvitaes and week in between. ******************* provided the quote, asked for $800.00 initially for the cost of bark dust. Paid $800.00 & the work began. ******************* then told Mom the account had to be paid in the amount of $2800. *** said she felt intimidated and forgot she had paid $800. She told my mother they would be back to complete the job, stated her niece died and she had to go to CA. *** realized she had overpaid, and placed a stop hold on the check. Called Peria to tell her what happened and reissued a check for $2,000. ***** called *** said the check had not gone through & needed another check. Mom called the credit union to verify, learned it was not true. ***** again contacted *** again insisting she needed another $2000 as her bank was not honoring the check, and checks were bouncing because of my mom. We got a copy of the paid check, emailed it to Peria. In AUG she stated weather was too hot for arborvitaes to be trimmed. *** was scheduled for SEPT - no show, stated she still needed $2K! In Nov they agreed to reimburse $1200 & would provide a track # from the **** & required I take Yelp review down. Received a pix of ******** envelope stating she had the money and was going to pay it. Contacted Peria 12/28/2022; she responded I am a fool to think threats were going to make her pay faster, if at all. Been contacted by others after posting a Yelp review of ************************ Customer was taken for $2,000, she paid up front, supposedly for *********************** to hire a sub-contractor to do the work, it never got done. Promised work would be they would return the $2,000.
