1 starTerrible company that lies to you to get you to change processors. They told us we had to lease credit card processing machines in order to lower our processing fees. Between the cost of the equipment and our percent per transaction actually raised our credit card fees. We paid two different "Leasing" companies over $30,000 in the last three years for equipment we couldn't use. **************** after changing to them was atrocious!FM Pay LLC

Mr. *******,
Our company offered you an opportunity to save money by switching to FM payments. A part of this savings included you need for new equipent which was chosen to be leased for your business. You processed with us happily for over 3 years saving money each month over the processor you were with. Not once did you bring up any discrepancy with the fees you paid monthly (including your lease payment) as they were far less than you were paying before. When you chose to close your account we waived all cancelation fees and parted way on good terms. At any time, if you felt you were paying more and had raised fees you could have called our office to assist you with this and we would and completed a rate review and done what we could to meet the gaurantee we supplied you to save you money. After three years as a happy client it is hard to see you go and have a bad taste about our company to go and write this review. If there is anything futher we can do to assist and make this better please let me know by email me directly.

The thing is you didn't save us any money. My credit card processing cost went down slightly. However you added nearly $900 / month in expenses. That pretty well washed out the small % in fees you saved us. The "Need" for new equipment isn't an accurate statement. We only have TWO registers. You required we lease eight machines. We only have two registers. On top of being required to lease eight machines we have used zero of the new machines because they dont work well with our POS system. You should look back in your records as we have NOT been happily using your services for three years. We stopped using your services in Feb of 2024 after poor customer service when we needed support. Long wait times and waiting days for responses. I also brought up the lease issue in 2023 before switching to a different processor who matched your rates with no additional lease of equipment or costs. Actual ************* You asked me to email you directly but there is no email address to email you to. The only thing that would satisfy me is for you to get the leases canceled with no further cost to me. I have paid over $30,000 in lease fees over the last three years for equipment that wasnt used and is not worth anything near $30,000. I wasn't given the option to just purchase the equipment at the beginning. I can own that I agreed to a lease without fully understanding the implications and I will pay out the lease as agreed because I made the agreement. However the way it was sold to me is predatory as is the final cost of the equipment that does not have a actual value of well over $30,000. If you would like to discuss with me my email is **************************** Feel free to reach out.Review fromLinda M

1 starIve had the same problem with this company everyone else seems to be having. Predatory sales practices. Promises of seamless integration with existing *********** that they cant complete without additional steps allowing for human error. Slipping a lease agreement for equipment into a *************************************************************************** they promised itd be free. Charging merchants months before services start, if they ever do start. Theyve charged me since 12/24 and Ive never even unboxed the equipment they sent. Its March of 2025 and theyre still trying to debit my account even though theyve never processed a single transaction and the equipment has never been installed. Ive filed a civil suit against them in ******* and have contacted a class attorney in ******* for anyone interested in forming a class action suit against them. Feel free to contact me at Steveduke72 at yahoo dot com and well get this class action suit in motion.Review fromLynzey B

1 starIf I could give them negative stars, I would! I wish I would have read these reviews before I signed anything. We were promised soooo many things. Cheaper processing fees, free equipment, a cancellation period and the list goes on. The person we signed with quit within days of us signing our contract. There was no one to contact to cancel. We were signed up for ****, which we did not want. We have paid $437 a month for something we don't use. We have tried to cancel so many times, but the fees are outrageous, and there is no one to talk to. We are stuck and everything we have tried has been useless. Please, please do not use this company. They don't answer their phone, they take MONTHS to get back to you about any questions you have. We have been charged chargeback fees on top of numerous other fees that add up to hundreds per month. It's the worst experience ever. I cannot believe they are still in business. Legal action is our next option, which is again, is another overwhelming expense for a small business just trying to make it.Review fromBen T

1 starAt best, these folks are fast-talking sales people who do NOT tell you about the "small print". At worst, they are liars and scammers. Their sales person did NOT tell me about the $695 early cancellation fee OR the 48-month "no way to get out of" lease of $144 for POS equipment that I told them I did not need since I processed cards via an online portal. (I am a 64 year old sole proprietor and would never have locked myself up for 4 years if I had known.) Sales person's response was "Oh, don't worry you just have to take the equipment to get this great rate but you don't have to use it." Well, 2 months in and I am paying MORE than my previous merchant service provider which is also 1.5% MORE than what they quoted. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.Review fromTaylor J

5 starsI am almost 2 months in with FM Payments and regardless of the many unsettling reviews, I've had a rather positive experience so far. Any questions or concerns I've had were quickly and efficiently dealt with. I've been able to contact my ***** **************************** via email and phone with no problem since day one with this company and she's always been helpful!Review fromMichael H

1 starI was contacted as a cold call about their merchant services and had asked if cbd sales are okay since if they weren't in not interested. I was told cbd is fine, not to worry.Later, their local rep ***** came out to give a presentation and fill out paperwork. Since cbd was not mentioned in the presentation I asked again if cbd sales are okay and was again assured there will be no problem.A couple days later I receive a docusign from a "merchant group" listing fm pay on the form which states I "will not sell cbd or kratom products". I asked my rep ***** about this and was told he'd look in to it and don't worry.A couple days later **** with fm pay texted me asking again for me to sign the document stating I will never sell cbd or kratom to move forward with my account. While this only pertains to cbd/kratom, it does also show either a severe lack of training at best and outright lies at worst. Be advised and aware that these are the people you would trust with your money.Review fromGerry S

1 star*************** walked into our business to speak with us about credit card processing. We told him the program we use has an exclusive contract with the processor so we wouldn't be changing processing companies. He stated all the platforms that process cards say they are exclusive and that it's all on the back end and the process wouldn't change. We believed him, we proceeded with trying out the processing with FM payments and that an onboard specialist would be in touch with us once our account was setup. A month or so later I get a call from Dru and he said they can't keep our process the same. We would have to go outside our program and process externally. Since FM payments couldn't deliver on their end of the deal we were told we would be refunded the monthly rental fees that were already taken which we told them we didn't want any equipment they sent it to us anyways they would cancel the contract. I have made multiple calls to the FM payments. Eleven phone calls over two weeks and each time the person in charge of our account is not at work yet, at a Doctor ************ in a meeting, at lunch or not responding to the customer service rep or technical rep trying to reach them. 02/01/2024 - I called again and the customer service representative had reached out to ***** and said he wasn't responding but he works from home so why were we given the excuse they haven't made it to the office yet? I tried reaching out to Dru trying to get some assistance with the contract cancellation. He says he's traveling and slammed with appointments but someone would reach out from the support team. Over two weeks we still haven't received a call. When we were at the beginning stages Dru and anyone from FM payments would answer any questions right away. All we want is for FM payments to make things right and refund our equipment fees that have been taken but no equipment has ever been used and to cancel our contract as they agreed they would.
