    I recently had a fantastic moving experience with AMS Vanlines. They were punctual, arriving right on time as promised. The team was highly professional, handling my belongings with care and efficiency. Additionally, they were pleasant to work with, making the entire process stress-free. I highly recommend AMS Vanlines for anyone in need of reliable and professional moving services.I'd like to give a special shout-out to ************************* from AMS Vanlines.     Highly recommend you -DO NOT use this company. We moved from one state to another, and the delivery system Atlas Moving Systems AMS used was to pile our boxes in a Freight truck which resulted in our boxes put in carelessly and looked like they were put in a tumbling machine. We had all of our items packed well by another company and several items were broken when moved by AMS. A moving truck was not used by Atlas Moving Systems AMS. A large toolbox was turned on its side resulting in all of the tools getting jumbled up. This move cost us several thousands of dollars for a very poorly executed move. We will never use them again even if they had new ownership. They promised they would be excellent, and it was severely poor service.

    NIGHTMARE--UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE!!! Do you want to wait weeks for your household goods to be PARTIALLY delivered, then wait weeks longer for the rest of your goods to arrive, being delayed multiple times without explanation, instead having to call daily in the hopes that you may get a concrete and accurate date, but sometimes getting voicemail since they recognize your number after multiple calls and choose not to deal with you at that particular time? Deceptive promises made at time of booking. Their flyer says BBB A+ rating and 5-Stars on Yelp (which is complete BS if you look at reviews on these sites).We were moving from ******** to ******* and were told our all our items would be delivered 3 days after pack up (with maybe an extra day or 2 depending on weather). The first 1/2 of our goods arrived 9 days late with the second half A MONTH after pick up. During the delay, we were told several times that the remaining items would arrive "within a few days" and it was impossible to reach a manager or get a firm answer from dispatch. We learned while waiting for delivery that they will not deliver belongings until their trucks are full, so this means they load belongings from several households before they start their journey. All your belongings may or may not fit on one truck, depending on the space left after loading other customers. You dont know if you will be the first stop on their journey, or how long their journey will take. The driver refused to back down our drive and added an additional "shuttle delivery" service as an up charge. We were told we could pay by credit card at booking, but then the driver would only accept a cashier's check (at one point during the delivery, the driver even attempted to demand a personal check made out to him or he would not unload the items!).At the end of the move, they dropped off our TV with no legs or power cord...Simply the worst company you could hire.

    *******, sadly delivery dates cannot be guaranteed beforehand because we work based on truck and driver availability, our drivers are usually on the road completing other deliveries. To avoid any misunderstandings, this is included in your estimate and it is mentioned during your QA call. Your space is reserved and coordinated before your move date, therefore ***** cubic feet were reserved, with the additional space required to load all of your goods, that small portion did not fit on our truck as this additional space of 302 cubic used was not anticipated or reserved on our trucks,  we had no other option but to send it separately unless we waited on the next available truck to have the full space available, this could've taken 2-3 weeks because, again, all moves are preplanned. Even though your delivery was completed within the timeframe in our contract we want to offer a courtesy refund of $150.

    Moved from WA to CA. Initial estimate 700 cf. On date of move (6/21/2023), mover estimated additional 400 cf. This was surprising because 1 year earlier at 832 cf. and with some larger items given away like queen size bed wall unit, computer desk, 4 dining chairs, office chair, the volume should be no more than 800 cf. Yet, mover quoted **** cf. There is not much I can do since nearly everything had already loaded into the moving truck. I had to paid for the additional 400 cf. On June 26 I found a storage facility to store our belongs from that move. I immediately told AMS that the storage facility cannot have a moving truck longer than 40'. Yet, on July 2 morning, I received a phone call from a driver saying that he is on his way with our stuff. I asked the length of the truck. He initially said the length was around 72' long. I said that is too long. I immediately called AMS about it being too long. Then I did not hear anything more until July 2, 6:14 pm. ****** then said his truck will arrive next morning. I asked about the truck and he said it is 52' long. I said that is still too long, but the driver he'll manage it. Came July 3, the manager of the storage facility definitely would not allow the driver to bring the truck into the facility. The driver then told he would have to charge addition shuttle fee to transfer the items to a smaller truck. The shuttle fee was $800 because the rate is $1 / cf since the volume is 800 cf. Had there been no shuttle involved, I would not have known that the actual volume was 800 cf. I paid for **** cf. So I was overcharged by 300 cf. I should be reimbursed the overcharged amount and should also not have to pay for the shutter fee, which would been avoided if AMS had used a smaller truck as I had requested. Couple smaller items should be compensated - missing red dolly and broken closet shelves. Final compensation should be in excess of $2500.

    Moved from WA to AL ****** at storage unit deliver to our new address unload and reassemble furniture as needed.Agreed on price and terms per contract.Jump ahead approximately 3 weeks, we get a phone call our freight is on the semi, but the driver will not deliver to our address.no reason given except the driver isn't comfortable driving on our street. (Two lane double yellow lines easily drivable).Now they want us to pay another ******* dollars so that they can shuttle it to us on a box truck.If we don't pay the additional money, we will have to find someplace else for them to unload the freight. No refund for not getting door to door service its not even negotiable.We decide they can unload into a uhaul truck that we have to pay for.Now on delivery day the mover calls and says he has to put our freight on a box truck anyway so he will bring it to our house. Yeah right, no he called back and said it he had to charge us ******, to bring it to our house. Told him no so he is going to take it off of his box truck and put it on another box truck and we will unload it ourselves. They demand payment before they will unload your freight. We did have some damaged items and a few missing items but at this point we are done. So, I cannot comment on the claim process.

    *****, we are terribly sorry to hear about the delivery issues you experienced, we strongly believe this was a situation that would have been prevented, better yet, couldve been attended properly. This is definitely not the level of service we aspire to provide. A shuttle service is offered when our driver can not get close enough to the house to safely deliver the goods, if there is limited or restricted access. If/when there is limited access, the driver can best assess if there is any risk in attempting to deliver the goods in the semi truck, per our contract, all of our deliveries are made in 53 ft. trucks. At times, customers can see there is space, however, if there are sharp turns, narrow streets, or steep roads, these are factors that *** prevent the semi truck from accessing the location, to add on, the trucks cannot stop traffic in order to complete a delivery. In your case, a shuttle was definitely required but there was a miscommunication error between the driver and the dispatcher, the driver ended up showing up in a smaller truck but he was under the impression the shuttle fee had already been covered but it was not the case therefore, the shuttle fee applied at delivery. We are terribly sorry for this experience, we definitely want to offer a refund of $200 to ease the situation for you, we wish we could have attended beforehand. We thank you for bringing this to our attention, we strongly believe sharing your feedback can help us become better and offer a better service.

    We moved from ********, ***** to **********, **** Our belongings were picked up on Sunday morning, June 25, 2023. Our contract stated delivery would be within **** business days. They keep moving our day to load for delivery and never call to tell us the date has changed. We call every day to check on the status. Yesterday they said our belongings were being loaded on Saturday. Today I called and they've moved the date to Monday. Now our delivery date is over 3 1/2 weeks from the time of pickup. We've reached out to our sales agent, ***************************, and he sympathizes, says he will get back to us but never calls back or seems to have any pull. We have contacted the corporate offices and they say we'll get back to you but never do. Please do not use this company. **************** is rude and they could care less if you received your items. I gave them one star but really they don't even deserve that.

    This company gave me a quote, didnt do any of the things they said they were going to do, Day they came to pack they charged more money, then on the delivery day, they charged even more money, wouldnt release our belongings without being paid. Once our belongings were unloaded and unpacked we discovered most of our furniture was broken or missing pieces. Then once the claim was filed which was a lengthy process we have recieved no compensation, and they did not accept responsibility from all the damaged goods.

    Seems that moving companies are now designed to charge you more than they quote. Gee, maybe they should send someone to actually inspect. Not only was I charged nearly double my quote, they lost items, damaged items and offered nothing in return…. Never again!! Do not fall for their estimates and definitely not the worthless insurance they offer!! If wish I could give less than 1 star.

    Worst company i have ever worked with. The Sales people are friendly and lie to you about staying with you every step of the way. Our sales agent ****** saw our stuff and gave us a quote.On the day of the move, the ******* said we have 60% more stuff than what they quoted for and my only option was to sign the revised quote and talk to Atlas moving later to negotiate. Atlas moving did not negotiate and charged me 60% more. we were storing our stuff with them for 3 months and at the time of delivery without notice they wanted to charge $1/Cu.ft for storage which was 3 times more than the original amount.
