To start it off I had to trade in my vehicle I was purchasing because the engine was faulty and not worth putting more money into. The day before thanksgiving 2022. So the car lot (TK Auto) paid off the rest of the *** Acadia and said to reach out to my insurance and have it towed to them. I did so and they had me use Core Values Roadside Service, LLC. At first everything was easy and smooth sailing until the day if the tow. Beginning of December they finally are ready to tow and when the person completing the tow called me it was already very late in the day. I warned him that the car lot would already be closed upon arrival and asked if he would rather return the next day? He made it seem like that would have been less convenient and offered to take it anyway. Then after doing so he called me back way late at night and said he had to take the car to their towing yard because "the car lot was closed and he couldn't leave it in the street." Of course! I already told him this. He insisted it was no problem and that tomorrow he would complete the tow and take the *** Acadia to TK auto the next day. Fast forward. That was the beginning of December 2022. Beginning of January 2023 TK Auto called me highly concerned that the Acadia still hadn't arrived at their lot! So now I'm in trouble with them through no fault of my own. So I ********* values and they tell me I have to have my insurance send a release for towing. I call them and they say they will pay the hookup fee for towing but there is also a $1000 charge just about for "storage" that has to be paid before they ******** the Acadia. I was promised by their employee that the tow would be completed. Nobody informed me that it was not completed or that the car was still there accruing charges! Now I'm in trouble with my car lot. And have this bill that I am not responsible for. The manager there (*****) insulted me and wouldn't let me talk. She refused to give me the name of her employee that did the tow. She refused to waive the fee considering the circumstances. I am a single working mom trying to get ready to move and I take care of my responsibilities. I have high morals and ethic and do not appreciate the way I have been treated by this business and the runaround, lies, misinformation, overcharges, and just lack of overall business sense, customer ********************** skills or any moral value that I can tell. I will never work with this company again and will not recommend them to a single soul. I have never been treated so poorly!
