    We bought for our daughter as a graduation gift a pair of diamond studs. One of the selling points was the "lifetime warranty". These were not bought to be everyday jewelry. So a third attempt of using them and the post detached from the diamond's setting, see attached photos (luckily this happened at home, think what would be on the road, in a cab, etc...). We went back to the store, the pair was sent to the manufacturer who claims the studs were overused. Again, a third attempt of wearing a pair of diamond studs - "a diamond is forever, unless you fall for Bluenile's lifetime warranty scam - it covers cleaning!". So we have to pay for the repair on a piece of jewelry that should not detach in parts. Be aware!After receivinga response from 'the owner' post our review askin us to contact the showroom, we repeatedlycalled in vain the cust **** we have correspondedso far by email - there is no phone anywhere for the showroom. Nobody reached out after our messages - we have phone history to prove. Looking at all complaints in ****** reviews, they get the same response to call the showroom, but no phone is given. We paid the charge for repair, proof they do not offer any warranty - STILL WAITING TO GET THE DIAMOND STUDS BACK.

    I ordered a 1.5 carat diamond ring. The shipping was taking longer than promised so I looked at ********************* for options.Blue Niles website states that they price match.I found the EXACT SAME diamond on ********************* and requested a price match.They refused, so I canceled my order. I took my $9,500 worth of business elsewhere. Please beware they do not honor their word and run a scam operation.

    We visited Blue Nile's *************** Showroom for a simple ring resizing, and it turned out to be a horrible experience. The store manager was initially nice, but the moment she realized we werent there to buy more, her attitude flipped. She basically ignored our needs because we weren't spending more money.The worst part? She flat-out refused to help us resize the ring. She made some excuse about not having forms, which is ridiculous. Then, when we asked for sizing help, she was no help at all. She told us to use a sizing tool that didn't even fit and then just said to call customer service. It was like she couldnt be bothered to help us in person.We ended up going to *********, where they treated us like valued customers. The difference was night and day.I'm really angry about this. We chose Blue Nile for something as special as an engagement ring, and they let us down completely. I regret buying from them and I'm telling everyone to avoid Blue Nile. Their service was unacceptable and ruined what should have been a happy experience.

    Awful experience. I went to their showroom in *********, ** to exchange a necklace for a bracelet. I was told in the store that my item would arrive the following Thursday. It did not. So I called the customer service (if you can call it that) and was told that it hadn't been mailed out yet. They said they would overnight the item. Again they didn't. Lie number 2. When I got the shipping information, showing it hadn't been overnighted I called again. I was told a supervisor would call me back to discuss. No one called me back. Lie number 3. I called again 4 days later and was told tough. They also accused me of lying about what I was told in the showroom. Avoid this company, they don't tell the truth and take no accountability when found out.
