      I am writing to lodge a complaint against Harborview Medical Center (HMC) regarding a billing issue. On November 7, 2024, I visited HMC for routine STD testing as part of my PrEP regimen (for HIV prevention). At the front desk, I was informed that I had no remaining refills for my PrEP prescription and was required to see a doctor for a renewal. Accordingly, I scheduled and attended an appointment on December 27, 2024, with Dr. ***** **********, MD. During this visit, Dr. ********** refilled my PrEP prescription and recommended a Valacyclovir prescription in case I needed it in the future. At no point did I have symptoms, health concerns, or require any medical intervention beyond routine preventative care. Additionally, I had not had a wellness visit in 2024, making this visit a preventative care visit, which is fully covered by my *************************** without additional copays.However, HMC incorrectly billed my insurance, using an improper billing code that categorized my visit as a regular office visit rather than preventative care. This error resulted in an out-of-pocket charge for me. After I contacted the billing department to dispute this charge, I got a response from ******* *., who falsely claimed that my visit was a follow-up for taking a new medication. This is factually incorrectI had not taken any new medications before the visit, nor was this a follow-up appointment. ******* *.'s dismissive attitude and refusal to review my case properly raise serious concerns about the integrity of **** billing practices.I request that BBB investigate the following concerns:1. Correction of My Billing Code and Charges Ensure that my visit is properly reclassified as preventative care, and the billing error is corrected with my insurance provider.2. Accountability for ******* M.s ******** of Billing Disputes Assess whether ******* *. has dismissed other valid billing disputes in a similarly negligent manner, potentially affecting other patients.

      Hi it seems that I was in a room for 3 @1/2 days and the and the 2nd day there was this rude patient who kepted coughing and keeping me up and I just felt uncomfortable and I didnt sleep that much, I had a nervous feeling about this guy so that is why I am making this complaint! The doctors and nurses where fine and they all did a good job. I just like having a quiet room to myself! So just make sure that you have enough beds in the this hospital and I had no idea that I was sleeping on a floor where there are the patients who scream and what not and I was reading things in my medical chart through the my chart app and it seems that there is a lot of areas for me stating that I am I am in denial with certain things and I know that some of those sayings are not true and they need to be updated. So just make sure that things on my accounts and medical charts are all updating! Thankyou for your time and have a nice day
