      Poor customer service. Refunds take forever, even for order that was undeliverable by no fault of the customer.

      Order a couch from a Third Party Vendor called Honbay on their website. The product was cheaply made and did not meet our expectations. Like nearly anything at Amazon, the items can be returned at no charge. We tried to return it and were told we had to pay for the shipping to receive credit for the item. We then found out that due to the custom shape and size, it would be $1,200 to ship it back for an $800 item. No person in their right mind would spend more money than the item cost to ship it back to simply get a refund on the original item. We filed an A to Z claim and were told on a recorded line that we would be reimbursed for the item cost and shipping. We fronted the money for the shipping and mailed the item back. We then proceeded to fight with Amazon A to Z for 8 weeks. We were bounced from one incompetent person to the next that could do nothing. Then their highest level of escalation can only be reached via email or through a lower level. We were told each time that once they refunded the $800.00 for the couch, we received all the refunds we were to receive. Again, why would we spend $1,200 on shipping if we were not told on a recorded line that we would also receive reimbursement for this cost? Amazon A to Z **************** is terrible.

      I was hacked. I never received an email from Amazon that an order was placed. I received an email that a $750.00 order was shipped. I canceled immediately and stated I didn't order product. UPS picked up order the day it was delivered. Amazon has order back, but said it would take 30 days to get my refund because of the amount. I was hacked I need the money to pay bills!!!

      Worst company in the world for being able to contact a live customer service rep or find any information on a way to contact them. If they want to make it so hard to contact someone when there is a problem then they should be shut down. Amazon is not consumer friendly. Very poor customer service department. Down with Amazon!!!

      I am utterly disgusted. I ordered items on the website and the package came damaged and they refused to refund me for those items. I have never had such a horrible experience while shopping online for items. I have called the carrier and they said that there was nothing they could do about it. NEVER SHOP ON AMAZON.COM THEY ARE HUGE SCAMMERS AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST!!!!

      An order for Amazon was made and charged to my Amazon credit card. Due to not enough funds, that was not reported when ordered, they chose to charge it to what they said was my default card. I had ordered an item months ago for my sister under her name and her card number. I never and would never mark her card as my default card especially since I did not know Amazon made you choose a default.
      My sister saw this on her card and not knowing it was me who ordered the 300.00 item notified Amazon. After lengthy holds and calls, they told her they would remove the charge.
      They told me to notify the vendor which I did to pay for it but that vendor referred me back to Amazon.
      This was never resolved. I ended up paying my sister to get it off her card since the last person at Amazon told her this would be the best way. Also my sister was told by the Amazon staff this happened to her. Why does Amazon feel they can just choose a person not associated with the account at all, How do they have the right to charge my sisters card for my item without her permission. Many people are reporting this is happening.. They should have just told me that I did not have the funds. What they did is illegal but many people are seeing them do this.

      I purchased countertop ice maker and it has a coupon for it but I couldn't get it to work so I contacted Amazon and they informed me to place my order and when I received the order I will have to contacted them to get a refund for the coupon amount. Now they will not refund me my money back. I think that this is so unfair and it's not my fault that your system doesn't work properly. I think Amazon has gone down hill because several orders I didn't receive and they didn't replace or refund my money back. How is it my fault that I don't receive what you are responsible for delivery. Poor customer service and company losing customer

      order package for one day delivery. The delivery person stated he could not leave package because of some secure issues. Remind you have outdoor porch and camera on my porch. No one never came on my porch. Then these the kicker the was supposed deliver next day. I had call here the package went back to the warehouse and they had reorder the item for Sunday delivery. amazon got there money on Friday and I can't get my items for two days which it will be Sunday. For my trouble you know what they did for me for the four calls and the time whole five dollar credit. WOW.

      Both my wife and I have been with amazon since almost day one many many years ago. Since ***** took it over it has declined quickly! I recently had a impossible situation with an order that was my wifes Birthday gift and I was lied to more than a few times by shipping and the ridiculous overseas customer service which is HORRIBLE to deal with and they REFUSE to connect you to *****************!!! I ended up canceling my order and found what I needed from another vendor and honestly it was CHEAPER! The overseas customer service refused to compensate me for amazon's lies and poor communication and customer service!!! ********************** is failing quickly and I will be going to other companies and vendors from here on in... after all these years I am giving amazon a failing grade not just because of this issue but numerous other order issues also.

      After receiving this harassing email, I dont want to buy even a toothpick on Amazon .I have an **** account for almost 20 years with 100% positive feedback as a buyer , I dont need to use Amazon! As far I remember in 8 years I reported only 1 item arrived in damaged condition! All returned items was in exactly the same condition as delivered!
