Prime has revolutionized the way that consumers purchase products online, but as the eComm giant begins to monopolize, it has evolved into an organization that knows its in control and now lacks empathy for its customers and B2B partners. We had recently reached out to Amazon about returning a product that was past the return window, a common request that had been honored on countless occasions previously. We were rerouted to 9 different service reps, each of which had a different definition of the return policy. One said 30 days, another said 60, a third said a week after the window closes a fourth suggested it could be returned for a restocking fee but then transferred me to someone else. Theres no consistency for which they serve their customers, and no special circumstances for even their Prime paid subscription base. You are endlessly routed to people, including supervisors, who read from a script, who do not seek to satisfy or understand the reasonable needs of their customers, and who disconnect the calls before any accommodation or mutual agreement can be reached. Ive also noticed a significant decline in the perks of a Prime membership. The subscription no longer guarantees same day or next day deliveries, which Im sure many will agree is a primary reason why anyone might subscribe in the first place. This company has no empathy, no remorse, no compassion for its customers. Until changes are made, we (and many others) will taper off our reliance on Amazon for any online purchasing needs.

I've been an amazon customer over fifteen years now and I cannot believe I allowed them to keep my business this long. It seems when they outsourced their customer service their customer service really started going down hill. I'm being transferred and bounced around orders are not being delivered. It just is an awful feeling or i'm receiving advertisements that aren't actually advertisements.

The new customer service portal has caused so many problems! I restarted the same chat 3 times about an item i waited an entire month for and everytime the chat said it would be open for 24 hours. Not once did I get a response and after about 30 minutes even with me sitting on the open chat, it would close it with no prompts. They also lied about delivery attempts and when I called the sender ***** they said they had no record of receiving the tracking number amazon provided.

Once something is listed as arrived (or departed) Amazon facility ******************** it will be late and/or never arrive. Ive tried customer service and get canned answers like maybe the post office does not know your address which makes no sense when a package from ************** using **** gets here just fine. The minute I see ****************, I order elsewhere since I know I will be going through the refund steps. I have asked if I can designate my account to not accept anything out of **************** and that isnt an option. What I dont understand is why Amazon is unwilling to fix the issue in ****************.

I bought a mattress and bed frame from Amazon and no longer needed it because I got my childhood bed. I never opened the packages and I returned them to the third party seller. I wanted a refund and they said they would reach out to the third party seller and then give ** a refund if they didnt respond. They promised me a full refund after little to no communication with the third party seller plus a refund with the shipping and handling. Ive been waiting over a month after theyve promised me my refund. I call after they say It will be in your account in one business week and then it never shows. I still have yet to get my refund and they keep losing my receipts that I send them. One of the people that I talked to also hung up on me because I got rude telling them I was going to report to them BBB if I didnt see my refund. I wouldnt be mad if it was just $15, but this is over $400.

Horrible customer service claimed my account had fraud on it to they put a hold on it so I called customer service and they first tried saying it will only take an hour then she hung up on me called again then it was magically 24 to 48 hours. So I waited the full 48 hours to try going into my account and said the same thing so once again I took time out of my day to sit on hold with 2 other people and all they can say it to wait an additional 48 hours. I asked to get some kind of credit or gift card towards my account for the inconvenience since now I havent had access into my account for 72 hours and the manager told me there is nothing they can do. Worst customer service. Mind you all I place order for business also so I do an order 1 fo 2 times a day and now this

Amazon is one of the biggest corporations in the world yet they do not have any customer service agents that help. They lock you out of your account then take you through the rigamarole to get your account back. The workers who answer the phone do absolutely nothing to help you. There is no way to send your ID or anything to confirm your identity they just force people to make new accounts. The worse.

I worked at the Amazon HUB in Pontiac and was disgusted by their handling of employees and processes. I went to get a cup of coffee after completing hundreds of deliveries at previous work shifts, and they scolded me like I'm some slaved mule. The way they treat their employees is disgusting. Turnover is among the highest in the work force. It is disproportionately a minority hired work staff. Nobody can keep jobs and buy houses. I am a business major. It is terrible for our economy to have people out of work for standing their ground. The DSP's discriminate. It is ********. I was threatened to be fired for showing up on time and early as I watched people clock in early after my job was dangled in front of my face for doing the same. Nobody will speak up, and everyone walks on eggshells to keep their jobs. I am a ************* Marine, and the ************ didn't even treat me less human than Amazon Delivery. It is heinous.
