      If I could leave 0 stars I would because they dont even deserve that 1 star. Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever had to deal with in my life. So rude, demanding, and then kept hanging up on me. They lost 2 of my packages and never refunded me or even offered to have the items reshipped. Its about time Amazon gets canceled

      I have shopped like everyone else on Amazon for many years. I have had some issues about shipping and delivery time in the past and even a few items that were unsatifactory and had to return. I purchased a christmas inflatable recently. First, Amazon could not tell me why the item hadn't shipped but adventually arrived. I saw that there weren't any left after that. I inflated the item and worked fine for less than an hour and completely bit the dust. For the very first time, I decided to call Amazon (in leiu of beginning th process online) .. BIG MISTAKE! The agent said I would have to return it, no problem .. it didn't work anyway. All of a sudden, he asked me to hold. When he got back to me, he stated that I would also have to submit to them, my government state I.D. to get a refund. HUH? When I asked why, he gave me to a "supervisor". She demanded I upload my I. D. or I would not get a refund and also "THREATENED" that if I didn't, they may ***** my account. WHAT? I have received an email from them stating that there is suspicious activity on my account. I called back and demanded to know what that meant. Both of the phone and another email, they said they could NOT provide me with that information. REALLY? They were supposed to call me back in 24 hrs. .. YEAH, RIGHT, GET A CALL BACK! NOT!! Now, they sent me another email saying they are reviewing my account and to NOT open another account because they would deny it and ***** my current account. I'm 71 yrs old. THREATEN ME?? Amazon has taken all my orders, I have VERIFIED who I am when they send me a code, they expect me to just download my I.D. to a 3rd PARTY, won't tell me what "suspicious activity" they are referring to and it's MY ACCOUNT, they will continue to take any new orders from me but not guarantee any refunds until I OBEY their directions. I DID NOTHING WRONG BUT MAKE PURCHASES FROM THEM AND NOW THIS? INSANE! SOMEONE NEEDS TO ************!!

      Robbers!!!!I bought a gift card for my sister and send it to her email address. She tried to use gift card, it was declined.then she received an email from Amazon that her account will be blocked.I and my sister contacted them via chat 4 times, they promised to fix I spoked twice on the phone, they promised to fix.They were never able to provide a case number.In my case speaking to their customer ******************** is like speaking to a wall. Below is an exact copy of my conversation with ******************* on the 7/12/2024 I: please advise amazon ombudsman email so that I can contact in case I cannot resolve this issue again.R: Yes sure. Is there anything else I can help you with?I: please advise amazon ombudsman email R: as we dont have amazon ombudsman email.however request you to check your email and follow the steps to unblock the account I: how do I escalate my issue further?R: Please allow me a moment I: what email I can use? can I use this?complaints at amazon.co.**"******************* just hung up on me as I started asking about emails I can send my concerns to.They did request latest bank statement from my sister. She supplied to them (I advised her to keep minimum amount of money on it in case they steal those too), but Amazon advised they are not satisfied with the statement and blocked her account.We cannot use gift card as Amazon blocked account of the recipient of the gift card.They will not reimburse money paid for gift card, they will not release gift card from blocked account.I sent emails to complaints at amazon.com managingdirector at amazon.co.**; **** at amazon.com managingdirector at amazon.com; primary at amazon.com; resolution at amazon.com orders at amazon.com; charge-inquiries at amazon.com and NO ACTION on my email!!!The only action is blocking now both my and my sister's account. It's the worst customer ******************** I have ever received in my life and not only this, but it's the only multinational company that stole money from me.

      WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HISTORY!I ordered $2,800 in gift cards to PRINT that were to be sent via email so that I could include them in Christmas cards to my employees. On the PREVIEW for the gift cards, it included the redeem code. When they arrived in my email (28 emails, one for each gift card) NO REDEEM CODES WERE THERE! It merely read to click the button to add to my Amazon account balance. NO! This is NOT what I ordered. So (after hunting forever for the chat option) I chatted for THIRTY MINUTES and at the end, they said they would have to transfer me to a "gift card specialist." After speaking with the specialist, they then said they had to call me so I gave them my number. After ANOTHER THIRTY MINUTES, the "gift card specialist" said she can't process that many codes for gift cards so she has to transfer me to a "gift card specialist." Uuummmmm aren't YOU a gift card specialist????? WHAT IS GOING ON WITH AMAZON! This is the worst experience I've ever had! I will NOT be buying gift cards for Amazon next year that's for sure! YOU JUST LOST OVER $3,000 IN ONE TRANSACTION PEOPLE!

      Fraudulent refund! Make sure refund is NOT a gift card! I helped my 88 year old mom buy 2 lawn chairs with her debit card. She only wanted 1 chair and had it picked up the next day. They issued a gift card to my account and used the amount to take $65 off an item I ordered! I thought the item, a mirror was part of a Black Friday sale and never realized what happened!! Amazon refused to fix this and refund my mom or adjust it. They said the only way to get my mom her money is to send back the mirror I bought, which I bought for my daughter **** miles away, already mounted in her new bathroom! My mom wont accept the money from me, of course. If you request a refund make sure when you select put money back on card that does not mean its your bank card! It means Amazon is deciding where you spend your money, or your moms money.

      Worst customer service I have ever experienced! 6 hours for them to tell me my refunds are frozen and no one can do anything about it. Ridiculous!!!!!!!! Terrible customer service!!!!!!!

      Amazon lost my package. Amazon sold me the items, not a reseller. In my opinion, Amazon was dishonest thru the whole resolution

      Ordered a phone, and it got lost in transit. Amazon never delivered the item to me. They offered me an option to cancel (or keep waiting for an item thats lost?) so i selected cancel. They said they'd refund me in 3-5 days after receiving the item... thats lost? after three days i chatted with someone who said it can take up to thirty days and they kept refusing to refund me for an item they never delivered. I canceled my prime account and filed a dispute with my bank. This seems rather fraudulent to me.

      Amazons customer service used to be phenomenal. No longer. The onus is now on the customer to handle *********************** mistakes, from dealing with the hassle of returns for items that are broken or missing parts to being told you have to PAY the shipping to return these broken and damaged items. This has happened to me three times in the last six months. Their customer service is outsourced, so once you finally get a human being, they are powerless to actually help you because they are working from a script. One of the issues I had recently was an item that was missing an instruction manual. They couldnt get me one so I requested a return. I got the little return slip you put in the box, but no shipping label or return QR code. I was told Id have to wait up to five days for the seller to send me that. Of course they never did. I also had a $500 order go thru twice, and I have to return all the duplicates because I wasnt able to cancel them. I ordered and paid for a set of six items that is ONLY SOLD AS A SET, and I only received one of the six items. When I contacted them about it, they said they couldnt just ship me the rest because it was only sold as a set. Then they tried to make me deal with the hassle of returning the one item, which I refused to do. Its was their mistake. Their delivery driver even took a photo of the delivery that showed a single item in plastic wrap, clearly not a boxed set of six. They offered me a $5 credit for the hassle. $5 was the value of the single item they shipped me. Eventually a manager got on and said just keep it and we will refund it, which is great, but Ill never get that hour of my life back.And just now, I received a book I ordered that has obvious water damage, though they packaging was not damaged at all. So they just shipped it damaged. And finally, their drivers pull up into my driveway constantly, even though I have account instructions not to since theyve run over my landscape lights twice.
