I have had multiple charges made to my account for items returned, months after they have been returned. Not once, not twice, but with at lease 3 separate items . After I call and dispute the charges I receive a return, only to have them do it again a few weeks later for the same item and they always swear up and down it wont happen again. I really think they are committing fraud and thinking no one will notice because its perhaps trivial amounts of money that most people wouldnt notice (between $25-$60) its starting to happen more consistently and I have decided the convenience no longer out-ways the fraud. They are double dipping. I understand charging me if I didnt return the items in question but its in their possession for months before they recharge me. Also, the emails states Because you have not sent back the item below for which we had issued a refund, we have charged your original payment method card. Amazon has NEVER refunded me for an item that I did not send away first (unless I was told not to return it by a representative) why make such ridiculous claims in an email to your customers?

I tried to return an item. I was e-mailed a scan code which I had to print out. Ths took a considerable amount of expense of my printer ink to do. I then brought the copy to my nearest Staples that would accept the return the scan. There had been a driven car accident into the building so I was unable to return my item. The nearest return center accepting a scan code was many miles away. I tried again online with amazon thru chat without success. Finally called. Again they they would only e-mail a shipping address which I would have to print out. I am now going to buying more ink for my printer just to print out returns.. I have ordered from many other retailers, i.e. Land's End, etc., over the years and all enclose a return form. All with excellent customer service and affordable and competent priceses. I do have a Prime Amazon, but their return, and customer service is so severely lacking, that it is more likely that I may seek other retailers in the future.

I was hit by a semi from Amazon and their solution was literally a copy past sorry for the inconvenience. I didnt want to involve lawyers but I suppose I will have to.

I have Amazon Prime, and I order some vinyl and glossy paper for an item I was making that I needed the next day. Amazon sent me a message item delay, then they sent me a message item will be delivered in 2 days. I call customer service and complain about not getting my item on time. They basically lie to me to get me off the telephone. My item did not come, so that put me in a bind. So, I call customer service back and ask to speak to a Manager, she told me I couldn't cancelled my order, then later she tells me its cancelled. Which I already new, because I cancelled it since is said arrived in 2 days after the original date. Then she told me I had to wait 5 to 7 business days to get my refund on something I had no control of. Amazon needs to stop advertising 1 to 2 days shipping if you have Amazon Prime and when your order don't come, customer service act like they can't see what you are talking about, and don't help out at all. My question why do you have customer service, they are not helpful at all. Also, to me Amazon is advertising something that they are not doing, but yet they are taking you monthly payment for Amazon Prime. I don't recommend Amazon Prime to know one. They just taking your money each month. This is the 3rd time this has happen and they have done nothing. And they will not let you speak to anyone higher are always saying no manager is available. What can I do about them taking my money, and I am surely going to cancelled Prime.

The dark side of Amazon - what everybody should know. There seem to be two weights and measures for setting up shop with Amazon.com. One for the local (read: American) people and one for the international (read: ******** sellers.I recently helped someone local setting up an Amazon Sellers Account. What a tedious, strenuous experience. Lots of documents and information is required.I understand, Amazon is protecting its brand and wants to weed out bogus operations to protect itself and sellers, right?Well, I got a big surprise when I had to contact Amazon concerning a failing product sold by a third party vendor (read: ********.(1) impossible to contact the seller directly, no information about the seller is listed. Only the name is provided (lets say ***)(2) contacting the seller is only possible through the Messaging Assistant who states: I send your message to **** Since no response from seller is received, I contacted **************** Support for help getting in contact with the vendor directly. No information is available about ***********!How is that possible? Since I experienced personally how though the vetting procedure is to set up shop on the Amazon platform, here is a third party vendor (read: ******** *********** selling on the Amazon website and nobody knows how to get in contact with them.In the meantime and that because of the staggering complains about their faulty product(s), *********** changed its name into XYZ apparently without any scrutiny by Amazon. That way, company XYZ does not need to reply to complains about products it did not sell. They keep selling same unsound products using same templates on the Amazon portal. Its obvious that the screening by Amazon is non-existing. Corporate greed towers above buyers protection. Preference is given to Chinese companies who can distribute their cheaper but faulty products to us, unaware Americans who are left behind holding the bag. Time to wake up and buy local (read: American)!

I simply logged in to Amazon Video online to evidence what would be the cost to watch a movie; and while I did not purchase any movie I was sent an email minutes later which stated that I had purchased a movie for $22 plus, and in a genre for which I have no interest before or after the log-in. Amazon is a fraudulent website, and buyers should beware. Their business practices are the worst that I have experienced And, they do not even provide any customer service!I hope the *** will sanction fines on them again as there acts are criminal!

They sent my order to the wrong address and I tried to let them know but I was put in to a company in a foreign country and couldn't speak to anyone here in the **. They sent two of my orders together which I had no problem with but the driver delivered to a different address. I understand that mistakes happen but after 30 minutes on the phone with their CS rep, he said it would be taken care of. I just got info that one of the orders will arrive tomorrow but they completely missed the second order. Horrible service for their mistakes. I have pictures to show them but they don't care.

Amazon illegally charges customers for items they've returned but Amazon misplaced them. I bought an item in January and returned it within the required 30 days at *****. In April, Amazon emailed me stating they had yet to receive my return and were therefore recharging me for the item. I then utilized the Amazon "bot" which told me I had returned the item and I would receive a refund within 3-5 business days - this has yet to occur. After calling customer service, they told me I had to submit personal information to receive a refund for a product I could PROVE I had returned (I had the receipt from ***** with the return confirmation number). So not only was I charged for an item I no longer had, they refused to send me back out a product in place, and I was lied to about a refund. The customer service representatives were short and disrespectful. I am now forced to provide personal information I do not consent to provide to receive a minute refund I've been owed for 3 months.

I have been waiting for a refund for a little over a month now, havent heard any sort of response what so ever, I finally got the time to call and they are requesting my id and personal information that should not be involved what so ever. Feel as its a violation of my privacy. At this point it feels like theft as they will not issue a refund nor return my item what so ever. Amazon has gone down hill fast and prolly the worst company to deal with anymore.
